He is basically the only one that explains why the iPad is so limited and the main difference between iPadOS and macOS, the fact that you can't install anything from outside the App Store. That's a seriously really big limitation for a U$1200 or so computer (yes, Apple says the iPad is a computer). Also, his screen explanation of both how mini-LED works and why is good is great. And he found the sh*tty thing in the ebook apps, like none of all the other reviewers read books?
I watched all the tech reviews from the other channels and I gotta say Dieters insights were probably the best - you actually focused on what we use and the user experience instead of just what’s added in the IPad. Cheers.

The mini led display on the 12.9inch iPad is night and day different from the standard IPS LCD displays of every other iPad. Alot of people say they only noice the display difference in HDR which is funny since this is the first iPad to support HDR, 600 nits from the previous generations is not enough for HDR content that gives you extended dynamic range roughly 20% greater than standard dynamic range. HDR starts at 1000 nits of brightness, anything less isn’t actual HDR but EDR. In the introduction video, apple is showing an external monitor showing a secondary screen. I'm pretty sure we're getting some interesting iPadOS updates on wwdc this june
If iPad OS has reached its peak and will never offer more powerful applications, it doesn’t matter if there’s an M10 in it, it will always just be an iPad….an iPad that’s just as good as the 2018/2020 iPad pro’s.
Agree, these form factors need full MacOS using the M1 chip then it suddenly becomes interesting form factor and use case for affordable price. It's like Android tablets that sell for the similar range to an M1 laptop... what's the point.
The screen graphs are a bit misleading, it makes it appear like miniled is smaller than OLED, but the reverse is true. Miniled combines several pixels in front of a mini backlight, where with OLED, the backlighting is really per-pixel. The size of the OLED pixels in the video should ideally have been a lot smaller.
I plan on watch videos, download a lot more for my 2yo and get learning games for him and maybe a few games I like to play and then my wife would most likely use like me, watching videos and games. Unless you saw the home screen on the external monitor....
Sikeee😂
CAN ONE PERSON make a review about the 11in in detail. JUST ONE DANG PERSON.

If Tenet will make sense on this iPad, i am already sold! 😉
I do appreciate Dieter's iPad Prose!
Especially regarding its untapped M1 potential because of apples current philosophy with this product line.
Dieter is back!
Dieter, man, you had me at that Tenet punchline... My ribs hurt 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
So so tempted even though it makes little sense.
I plan on watch videos, download a lot more for my 2yo and get learning games for him and maybe a few games I like to play and then my wife would most likely use like me, watching videos and games. Probably social media and all. We got it since we have the 1st gen iPad Pro but it’s now broken so hoping this can help that missing part of my heart 😂😂 miss my old iPad Pro
