The line I like is when the possessed Sigourney Weaver tells Bill Murray, "I want you in me." and he says something like, "I think there's enough people in there already."
My favorite quote is Winston(Ernie Hudson) says, "I've seen sh*t that would turn you white!" When they are telling the mayor what is happening in the city.
Rob Vonk Amen! I’m part of a Ghostbusters fan group on Facebook and one of the members took his 4 year old son to Harold Ramis’ grave. It was such a touching photo.

"Yes, have some." "Some idiot brought a cougar to a party." "'You're being paid!' 'You can keep your five bucks!'" "Put down the baby." (To baby) 'You're a terrible burden on your poor mother.'" "That's a big twinkie." "WE GOT ONE!!" "You will have saved the lives of millions of registered voters." "Lots of people have two mortgages." "Ghostbusters, whattayou want?!" "Yes, they're for real." And the best one of all: "Ray, when someone asks you if you're a god, you...say...YES!!!"
"Get her" always cracks me up. My kids don't understand yet. Plus, Bill Murray reminds me of my dad. Looks like him, and has that kind of "funny" to him. I love it.

Gozer the Gozerian? Good evening. As a duly-designated representative of the City, County and State of New York, I order you to cease any and all supernatural activity and return forthwith to your place of origin, or to the next convenient parallel dimension.
Egon: this is hot Ray. Ray: symmetrical book stacking, just like the Philadelphia Mass turbulence of 1947. Peter: right no human being would ever stack books like this. Ray: listen, you smell something Peter: takes a couple of whiffs
Didn't include one of my favorite bits, but that's OK; Here it is from Rick Moranis: "Gozer the Traveler. He will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldrini, the traveler came as a large and moving Torg! Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor! Many Shuvs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Slor that day, I can tell you!"
Probably one of those films that was heavily criticised originally but that people have generally warmed to as time went by, even though it is still not a patch on the first film. One thing about the sequel that does not really make sense is one of the judge's first lines in the courtroom scenes - in particular his line about him not believing in ghosts. Given that five years earlier there was (amongst other things) a gigantic Marshmallow Man stomping through New York, which would have been all over the news like a rash, one wonders what planet he must have been on to still disbelieve after that.
Ray: you forget, i was present for an underwater unexplained mass sponge migration. Peter: sighs.... ray! The sponges migrated about a foot and a half...
Ray: Goozer the Goozarian... Good evening. As a duly representative of the city, county, and state of New York, I order to cease all supernatural activity, and return your place of origin, or to the nearest parallel dimension. Peter: Ain't that right Z? Egon: Yo! Me: This is why Ray and Egon are my favorites. XD
Louis Tully: "I was trapped in an elevator for two hours and I had to make the whole time. But I don't blame them. Because one time, I turned into a dog and they helped me. Thank you."
There's some great quotes from the cartoon as well. One of my favorites is "But all things considered, I'd rather be Bette Midler but then again, who wouldn't?"
I have been going everywhere I can and rewatching the movies, listening to the theme song over and over again. Once I got the news that GB 3 was happening and we go a teaser, which I've watched so many damn times. Man 2020 guys, Ghostbusters are back!
36 years old and still a awesome movie, I own Ghostbusters the first one and its one my favorite movies its funny and the ghostbusters actually take their job seriously and don’t always have to make joke constantly through the entire movie

how could you forget the greatest lines ??? "mr. mayor i have seen shit that will turn you white" or "we're taking it all wrong. he's a sailor in new york we get him laid and everything is ok"

"Ze upper vest side!" I could just the scripts of both films here.

This inspired me and a group of buddies to start a podcast which tests knowledge of classic movie dialogue. The Podcast is called "Quotall Recall" and is on Itunes, episode 3 is Ghostbusters, download and test your own knowledge.
Do-Re (Ray) - Mi ("Me" = Egon!!). This has been my favourite movie since childhood, and I've watched it countless times, and I'm ashamed to say I only just fully got that. :) Works both ways - Ray is a homophone for Re and Egon is either echoing Ray or re-interpreting "Me" or making a really neat pun and doing both at the same time. The humour in this movie is so fantastic.
I thought you might have this one "FROM Original GB" before going to the roof to meet Gozar the Gozarian: Ray Stantz: Where do these stairs go? Peter Venkman: They go up. FROM Original GB: When they were getting ready to bust their first Ghost from the Hotel: Ray Stantz: We should split up. Peter Venkman: Good idea. We can do more damage that way.
Love when Ray shows up with the yet to be built up ECTO-1 & says "Everybody can relax I found a car..." then he proceeds to say the endless list of things that are wrong mechanically with the old Cadillac. It was like a mirror image scene in Blues Brothers where Elwood is trying to convince Jake on the good points of the "New Blues Mobile", the 1974 Dodge Monaco retired cop car. Funny also because the same actor is delivering the lines.
“That’s gotta be some cockroach...” “bite your head off man” “Now that’s a big twinkie” “Testing fest who here tonight is a national monument can you raise your hand please”.
Louis Tully: And that's me! My guys are still under a judicial mistrangement order... that blue thing I got from her! They could be exposing themselves! Peter Venkman: And you don't want us exposing ourselves!

"Of course you forget, Peter. I was present at an undersea, unexplained mass sponge migration." "Oh Ray, the sponges migrated about a foot and a half."
The real last line of the first movie comes from Louis after he exits the Shandor building and being attended to by the EMS and pointing off screen: "I wanna go with them in the car."
One of the real good ones missing - "When someone asks you if you're a god....YOU SAY YES!!!"

Too easy. All Ghostbusters quotes are great quotes.
And when you can quote the whole movie backwards and forwards, like I can, this is especially true.
Nobody:
Absolutely Nobody:
Still Absolutely Nobody:
Egon: "Let's see what happens when we take away the puppy."
"There is no Dana, only Zuul."
"What a lovely singing voice you must have."
The writing from Dan Ackroyd and Harold Ramis for both these movies are genius.
In excusable omission:
"I'm calling this a promotional event. That's why I invited clients instead of friends."
