i can confirm to you guys it does work i did it but accidentally went toward when i bugged the back dodge but i haven’t been able to do it since you need to do it precise and right i think
If you’re struggling to do enough damage to kill dancer I recommend getting the millwood greatbow and captain’s ashes in the ashes of ariandel dlc. you need 19 strength and 12 dex minimum to wield it, after you have the requirements you can purchase 30 millwood great arrows and then perform this glitch. This is just what I like to do when I pick knight class and are going for a strength build. hope this helps :)
After a few tries it worked, this was basicially the same as cheesing Aldrich, entering from the furthest point and jumping back, thanks for showing us the glitch
Just a tip, but dancer has like -26% dark resist. Use dark damage, I killed her in like 16 hits with a dark harald curved greatsword on a 40/40/40/40/40 build

The third try was the charm but I messed up 😅. Psa- Don’t use the dragon slayer bow it makes you move works as of July 27,2024 and btw I haven’t been able to beat the dancer and it’s been 5 yrs since I got the game 5 different builds as well but now I can finally beat the game thank you

I personally don't like cheesing bosses because I know from DS1/2 i can usually handle the bosses (except Manus, i hate Manus i will cheese Manus every single playthrough because feck Manus). Do you let yourself go through the barrier before hitting the back step button. I've gone up to the door, gone through, quit and re opened, inched towards the gate, entered and back stepped (once it's loaded me through), but it still isn't working, please help.

08-01-2023 Holy f%ck! it works! - I'm using PS4 Fire Fades edition Ver. 1.11 Reg 1.30 In the beginning it doesn't work no matter how many times i tried. I think you should fight it first and then die.. like i did.. Then once it loaded do the "quit game" 1st. When the game loads again at the entrance, DO NOT WALK and slowly approach the entrance exactly like the video.. Then as soon as the character enters press the circle button REPEATEDLY.. That did the trick for me.. my character didn't back step.. i just noticed the she-bitch dancer isn't moving.. I haven't defeated it yet because I ran out of arrows 😅 and had to quit.. the bow just makes 11pts damage 😂 per arrow.. FYI i started playing DS3 just 5days ago.. Only reason I am here is because my dancer cheats so I cheat 1: it grabs in in my roll animation(invincibility) 2: hits me in my invincibility roll 3: moves faster than the flash

And every boss I faced, died so many times but that was the only one I was able to beat without even dying once on the first try but yeah I did watched the tutorial for the fight though (although watched that for every boss, but didn't worked out guess was lucky or LKS rocks)
@@freekicerzs8633 you need to go step by step to the fog wall and the first moment you can enter the door you need to traverse the fog wall. Then spam the backstep button and it will work
Its not working for me i did the exact same thing 🙁. Edit: Nevermind it works after I carefully and slowly moved till the it asked me to clear fog and like you said I immediately back stepped and it worked.❤
Make sure you’re entering the farthest away possible, creep step until the enter fog gate is just available and then spam the back step immediately. Good luck! Worked for me today, took about 3 tries

@EldenZIP I tried her with warden twinblades on ng+ and I didn't really like it, just not enough dps or reach I prefer dark harald cgs more

@@rndmprsn161 yeah it seems i just used the wrong weapon i whent to profaned capital got yhorms machete and whooped the dancer
For me I recommend using the weapon art for the bow and getting a ton of ashen estus flasks as this makes the fight a lot quicker.

You need to press backstep instantly when you enter so you can spam the button when you enter

When you just press the dodge without holding any direction you do a back step. It's explained in the controls too
