I used 1 1/2” pvc pipe and it splintered into 20 pieces my first trip down my driveway, using a Yamaha RMax 1000 with 72” blade. I have an atv I’m going to try this weekend at a cabin I own with a long gravel driveway, I’m hoping to have better results. Maybe the blade on my Yamaha was too heavy.
@@briansmith8715 it doesn't hold up well if you hitting stumps and rocks but if you just on a flat surface it's fine if you have a rougher terrain you might want to use a steel pipe kind of like from a chain link fence that will definitely hold up better
excellent idea and it works great!
you need to use ABS i have had it on my plow for 2 years in northern mn.

Ya how is pvc pipe going to last in the cold?

@DJsWorkshop how many driveways do you know that don't have cracks or uneven slaves
I used 1” schedule 80 on a 60” blade and it lasted about 5 minutes in 15° temperatures.
