Michelle, I love all your meditations about storms, rain and snow, and cozy cabins. I hate storms in real life because I can’t go outside, but maybe I’ll view them differently now. Instead of viewing them as a time when I’m stuck inside, I will embrace the coziness inside and take it as an opportunity to hunker down. I almost wish that storms were common here. They are very rare here we usually get one storm every 2 years, that’s it.
I look forward to these each and every week, Michelle. I'm currently in recovery and your meditations/sleep stories always relax me and remind me we're not alone. Especially in these trying times. Thank you for being you.
I lived nearby Asheville for many many years. Now I live in NYC and man... this just got straight onto my happy place. Feels like home hearing this. Safe, comfy and happy. Goodnight.
Michelle, you do describe the most exquisite retreats. Can’t see me getting to Asheville anytime soon, but your voice paints the perfect picture. Storms and fireside work for me. Thanks Michelle for the effort expended in creating these stories.
Michelle I love your stories about cozy cabins, snow and thunderstorms. Something about those stories help to calm my anxiety and help me feel at peace. Please post more
I'm grateful for your videos and I like the second half of your videos because then I have no more thoughts on the video and I can simply stop commenting and get some sleep, I would love a stormy night one with peaceful music as well, I feel like no one has done that before in a story rather than just sounds of nature... I love music and nature x putting the 2 together would be lovely, like what you for the seaside stories, so relaxing
I used to live in Sylvia NC. Asheville was just a 45 min drive. I loved living there! There was so much to explore & experience! Highlands, Deep Creek Campground, Waynesville, Cherokee, Franklin, Asheville, & so much more! Even Gatlinburg, TN was just a short drive over the mountain. Learned the hard way not to go that way during the winter though. Treacherous slick mountain drive some days! Usually the road is closed when there’s snow at the top, but not on this particular day. Clear as a bell at the bottom, snow & ice at the top. Seen a couple of wreaks that day. Cars sliding left & right. At least no one tumbled down the mountain! I really miss living there, but I’m not far where I’m at now. Loved this meditation!
Thank you-- and wow! I remember visiting a cottage and it was late Spring and the owners had a sign to hit the gas and not slow down in order to not get stuck or roll back the mountain on the drive towards their property. For a city girl, it was quite the adventure! But beautiful, nonetheless.
So I return to another beautifully crafted story from Michelle.. A continuing flare-up of chronic pain and tiredness has me returning to all the older stories I have enjoyed, determined to rest fully until my calm and energy return. As the seasons seem to be changing early this year, here in South Eastern Australia at least, I enjoy the wood fire keeping the house warm and toasty. As it gets closer to winter I look forward to treating myself to hot soup, roast vegies and all those yummy recipes that can be dumped into a slow cooker or stock pot and left to simmer slowly all day or even for the afternoon. Can you smell it yet? I hope whatever season you are in today that you take the time to treat yourself as you would treat your best friend or your furbaby...give yourself some grace, kindness and love. If that's hard to do imagine that it is a gift or present I've given you = a few hours of time to yourself. Make time to do what is best for you, whatever that may be. Im planning 2moro to read a book and then paint my nails all shades of purple = haven't done that for almost 10 years, too long I think. Sleep well, love and blessings, Dot
How beautiful and I hope that your pain is soothed. Your words made me long for winter again when we are just coming into Spring. I’ve never been so good at taking advantage of colder seasons than I have the past two years. Sweet dreams! 💜
I absolutely love this, so perfect for what i needed to hear tonight, i look forward to falling asleep to this for many nights. Thank you so much Michelle! Peace&Love&Light to all ☮☯️🕉
*As the world settles into slumber, I wish you all a restorative and rejuvenating night's sleep. Good night, and may tomorrow greet you with renewed energy!*
Sadly the most recent storm that hit Asheville devastated the entirety of Western North Carolina.... I live 15 min from Asheville and hurricane Helene has been a catastrophic disaster.... Please keep us all in your thoughts and prayers #WNCSTRONG
@@MichellesSanctuary yes my family and I are safe and ok, though 95% percent of our town (Hendersonville, NC) is still without power and/or water, including myself. There just has NOT been enough news coverage and the rest of the world has no idea how truly bad it is here. I'm just hoping more people will find out so we can get the help and rescues that we really need! Thank you for asking and caring, it really means a lot! ❤️
It would really help if u would turn the comments off for some of your videos coz I can't stop commenting on them... Also that gives me anxiety that I would be in a cabin sleeping with a fire burning all night, bit dangerous don't u think haha sounds nice tho

What a beautiful sentiment!
I guess im gonna take a nap ☺️
My dog would have run head first into that tree chasing the squirrel 🐿
Mine too-- although lately the NYC squirrels are so brazen they are close to chasing him!
I’d like to know how one of these stories ends for once. Zzzzzz
May they colour your dreams at the very least! 💜

It is heartbreaking-- are you okay? How shocking it did as much damage as it has. One of the most beautiful places in this country. 💜

That’s not the voice for relaxation and sleep.
the rest of youtube begs to differ
I hope you find the voice that works for you-- you deserve to find sleep.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Thank you ❣️
Any time!
