"The Fly" is my favorite body-horror film, so to say I've been stoked to hear this one for a while now would be an understatement haha this album is a straight-up 10/10...not even surprised!
I saw the movie not long after the album came out. I saw that added it on Hulu so I was like hell yeah! Probably one of my more fav body horror films as well now

@@jonthepop it's a Body Horror love story about a man who is creating teleportation pod devices, how they work is that it rips you and your DNA apart and puts you back together in the next pod. This man falls in love with a reporter who works for her ex. He decides to go in the pods himself for the first time since he has been experimenting with animals, when he went into one of the pods a fly flew right into his pod and got trapped inside. So then both his DNA and the fly were fused together and he slowly becomes a man-fly hybrid throughout the film, its a very emotional story cause you feel bad for the couple, and it is definitely not a fun experience for the audiences eyes to witness the gore.
One of the only horror movies to actually make me cry and, this fits so perfectly I can’t genuinely imagine Seth having this inner process as he realizes he can’t ever turn back

It’s SUCH a banger and it really brings out the themes of the movie and makes you appreciate the ones less present in the song, like the more romantic notes. For the dumb concept of a human-fly hybrid being a big horror movie baddie, the movie executes it so well along with the theming, and so does this song. Love you guys, please keep rocking.
