I love the way they romanticize the horror of each story through their amazing choruses. Every song is a horrible adventure. 3:03 to 3:13 is amazing example of that.
the clean guitar ska part at 0:45 is pure magic, it gives another vibe to this song

As someone else mentioned, I love the punk feel of this song, while mixing in with metalcore. Spencer is a massive punk lover and it shows in the music he makes and sings.

I keep forgetting that I think all 'Metal' music is 'Rock' music to me because I was just raised on Metal and just thought it was Rock so when I am listening to music like this while doing my work or something my friends always wonder "Why are you listen to metal like it's nothing?" Safe is Just a Shadow is one of the albums that just resignated different to me. Really cemented my love for metalcore per say. I do have to say that this album has done an excellent job of providing that nestalgic ink feeling with creativity at its finest. Beyond impressed with this album.
Is this everyone’s album of the year? I have a feeling ERRA will still hold the spot for me but this might be a bit better than Trivium for me.
