13:58 Took a legion from Mogontiacum instead of the pool. 29:05 There's a Vandal cube on Lugdunum so the one coming down should have gone to Burdigala instead of being fought off.

8:31 Hold on. Why would you place the HUN beyond the city with a fortified city with legions in it? I thought the point to having that there was to stop the barbarians from spreading? Shouldn't that barbarian be forced to come out at the fortified city and then be stopped by those fortified legions before reaching Patrae?
the legion you place at a location will stop new Huns from setting up camp there, but they won't stop them from travelling down the 'chain' to the next location on the migration path :)
So, it would seem that once the barbarians break through the city with all of the legions and fortification in it that city becomes a lot less effective.
thematically, i look at it like the defending legions are hold up in the city. if the huns want to take that city (i.e. place a new cube on the board at that location), they need to attack the city, and they'll get stopped by the defending legion. however, if they're just "passing through" on to the next location, the legion isn't going to run out into the fields to stop them, because they're just there to defend the one city :)
rahdo I’m also confused on the Regina Foederata role ability. It says “When you do the MARCH or SAIL action you may take up to 3 barbarians and/or legions with you. But, everyone can do that with legions so why write it that part? Does it mean you can take up to 3 of both at the same time meaning 6 altogether? I’m assuming those barbarians have to be the same color as the city you are headed to. Also, can you take barbarians that are not yet allied with you or no?
@@Tumslover27 you can always take 3 legion with you, but characters can't usually pick up barbarian cubes and carry them around. that's her special power... kind of a pied piper character, puling huns off their normal migration path so as to slow the spread :)
i know, i'm bummed it didn't happen organically. i should have forced it, i guess. to answer your question, yes they explode along every connected path (just like regular pandemic), which often leads them to areas they'd not normally get to!
Thanks for the quick reply. Do they keep expanding on those lines (moving towards rome)? If not, what's the point of them expanding there? Just to make it harder to kill them if you don't make them allies?
one of the ways you can lose pandemic is to run out of cubes of any color. so if you have an explosion of cubes, it puts more on the board and you're in greater danger of losing. but since they're a bunch of singles that don't pose an imminent threat, you're tempted to leave them, but then that can bite you in the butt if you're not careful! :)

notes added... thanks :)
14:56 - THIS.
At 8:10 there are three barbarians in the city and he only rolls to kill two, but he removes all three anyway.
noted... thanks
??? Magister Militum removes 2 barbarians + the rolled cube = 3 removed barbarians - Rahdo did it right, or no?

Tnx for the playthrough
i just wonder, does Rahlo ever remembers any rules after he gets his panic attacks? it just a comedy of errors upon errors. :)
the longer i film, the more things tend to fall apart :)

Very interesting game / concept.
I don't like how there's Orange and Red. Makes it hard to see what's going on
Would've been nice to see one city "exploding" with enemies, to see how that works. Would they go into paths they don't usually go to?

Looks nice, getting mine tomorrow! But also seems a bit easy? :)
like all pandemics, there are ways to change difficulty level :)
Keep in mind there were a few forgotten invasions as well :)
