We are officially moved out of our yurt, the home we shared for the last two years while building our log home. It is now open for friends and family...bring on the guests! #shorts
I would love to have one I have always pictured myself in a round house and upstairs loft as a bedroom I have always felt like I should have been born in 1862 instead of 1962 !! I love hard work and I enjoyed the things people from that era did to survive from building their own homes and raising the food from in there own garden everything about it I love 💗 🥰💜🥰💙🦋🥰💕🌸💗🌺😊😊😊🤗
A round home is such a unique space to live in! Yes, living this lifestyle definitely makes you appreciate and respect people who lived in the 1800's. Lots of hard work!
I’d love to spend some time in a yurt like this. Seems nice to isolate from society and live on your terms with the occasional visits to friends and family. What are the drawbacks and challenges to this lifestyle? The benefits are enticing but it’s not perfect.
It is an awesome experience to live in one! The drawbacks are being a little more isolated and having to drive quite a bot to get anywhere, but you adjust. The yurt can be a bit chilly in the winter, but if it were your longterm home and you lived in the cold, you can get thicker insulation. It is so cozy and comfortable!
I just looked on line for ideas and then mapped out what would work best for us. I actually taped the floor plan of the walls onto the floor so my husband could visualize it!
With the wood lattice walls, if would be very hard and time consuming for someone to cut their way in. If you have a good lock on your door, it's no different from a regular home!
Geleneksel Türk evi. Çok güzel olmuş.
Thank you!!
My dream home. Out on a remote beach somewhere. ✌️
That would be awesome!!
Love these but at a beach it Would get hot though
Beautiful yurt... I almost want one...Lol!🌿🕊
Thank you! I never thought I would have one, but we love it!

Your yurt is beautiful.

I wonder how much this cost with all the amazing add ons/rooms and such
That's too nice
I'll take that as a compliment 🤔

@@freedomranchhomestead7961 I can deal with the isolation, but the long drives will take a while getting used too. Pros outweigh the cons though
Man thats beautiful! What size is this? seems huge
It is 705 sq ft, 30 feet in diameter. The side walls ar 7 feet high.
Hey. Blueprints please
No blueprints, just put tape on the floor to figure out how we wanted the walls layed out
Did it come with the interior plans or did you figure that out on your own?

@@freedomranchhomestead7961where did you buy your yurt
But you hear EVERYTHING outside.
Since we live in the country, hearing everything outside is wonderful!
How was the mice situation? 😬
😼 not a problem
Like any home. It's wrapped very tightly around the base, so a critter would only be able to get in through a door
Yurts would be great, but the only thing is they look like they’re easy to break into and I don’t think that that has very good safety

Ciao quanto sono alte le pareti?
7’
7 feet high along the sides
was amazing? So you are selling this yurt or what
No, this is for us to temporarily live in while we build our log home then it is for guests
Its not amazing if you have any more then 2 people or if theres any kids bc the walls dont go to the ceiling so its very loud and annoying.
We had 5 people plus 2 dogs and two cats. It was awesome!
@@chuckanderson1770 to each his own lol. I personally would not enjoy that
A man who can’t stand his partner or kids 🥱 Trite
Mekkora az alapterülete a jurtának? Hány méter átmérőjű a jurta?
From Hungary
We thought it would be tough, but we actually grew closer together!
Cozy bedroom…. And can blow away in a tornado or get shredded by bad hail.
The wind actually moves easily around the circular build and it is very sturdy with a vert thick vinyl roof
