One of my favorite concert performances ever. Bill Preston just crushes it with the organ solo. Remember seeing them on tour and just being absolutely blown away by this song. The crowd was just insane after this.

I saw this band on June 6, 2001. Still have my ticket stub. I saw him a few years later, both times at the Palace of Auburn Hills. That was a great place for a concert, i attended many there . EC and the band were so great, BP was so absolutely awesome. The drummer was excellent, the whole band was that good. This show is electric! EC is such a blues man. With Eric, i believe his radio songs made him popular, but when you go deeper into songs like this and River of Tears to name a few, it's then you see/hear the best of Clapton. The crowd was probably the loudest i have ever heard at a concert. Both times. People that go see EC, truly love his concerts, and for good reason.

Of all the albhms/music DVD's I've owned over the years, this DVD got more play time than nearly all the others. Incredible man, incredible band.
It's truly the gold standard for Clapton live performances ; it has the definitive take on many songs (Badge in particular is a blast). It's sad that we'll never see this band perform again.
How can there possibly be a 'thumbs-down'? I saw this concert and it was the best I've ever seen.
Nathan East is too good to play bass, in his mind. He does everything except lay down a rhythm bass line. I can't stand to hear him. Donald Duck Dunn or Dusty Hill would have been much better.

This is close, but the best, easy, is Claptons first Crossroads festival. Same song. When Billy puts the piece of wood between the keys, to hold the note down........It says everything that needs to be said. Its an out of this combo of I Shot The Sheriff into Have you Ever Loved a Woman, like 15 minutes long and as unbelievably great all the guitar work is, that one moment, to me, is THE highlight of the whole thing.
