As someone who hates changing gear and wants to give every character I raise their own light cone(and I want to eventually raise every character), 3* light cones being good are such a godsend
@@gabsjrsame. At least until they let us save loadouts. Until then it’s just such a time sink switching out relics. The downside is having so many relics to level up. Light cones I try not to swap but with so many characters sometimes I just have to swap out a lower level LC. I’m slowly leveling relics and LC though so that I’ll never have to move them around anymore.

It's been so impressive how much success you've had with your channel. Literally all vids having 100k-200k views is insane. It is understandable tho. Your channel is basically the "Oratrice Mecanique d'Analyse Cardinal" of HSR 😂 And I particularly like that you're not just spamming videos. i cant stress this enough, to keep two 3* of each lightcone in the game. i did the same in genshin. someday you maybe need them, and then you have it. edit: on R5 i mean. its easy to get them as well
As someone who built almost every harmony characters and after pulling for Ruan Mei was one light cone short, I can relate (I wish they’ll release an herta store harmony light cone within the next few updates)
I'm doing a Preservation only account, and Defense is actually a really good Lightcone as there aren't many consistent sources of Health regen outside of SU, so it's come in clutch more times than I can count
The biggest thing I think will shake up Harmony is a cavern relic set that provides a substantial amount of energy. Right now we just have Thief with it's 3 energy. Supports mostly live right now with Hacker and Wuthering, but being able to possibly keep up faster rotations without Cogs/Memories or push even further with them combined will be huge for Harmony.
3* cones are so good. If not for the base stats, I have no doubt in my mind a small handful would be BiS.. If only superimpose increased base stats! Great video as always. :nyathumbsup:
I have two sets of S5 Cogs and that is not enough now, plus as someone who often forgets to move weapons/LCs around, yeah I need more than two sets lol
Passkey is the SAUCE for Argenti especially in Erudition path in SU Gold and Gears. The fact that his 90 cost ult can deal so much damage with the right blessings and how it can keep retriggering Brain in a Vat and refills his ult to the 180 cost one is CRAZY.
I stopped using post op S5 for Multiplication on Luocha and the current MOC felt so much easier. Always felt like his healing is too much and action advance is an insane mechanic in limited turn content like MoC
Finally 3* LC content. I was wondering when will you tackle on this subject. Now, Im a Coggers fan. I've also used Multiplication on Nat ages ago and she sometimes clutches with the heals and her SP Regen on BSC ATKs but replaced it and even used it as an enhance item to other LCs which I've regretted it but now I have another S5 Multi.
I still remember your 3 stars lightcone tier you did when HSR wasn't out yet. Happy how you keep on updates about this. Glad I still keep every single 3 stars lightcone in S5 also.
I only use cogs, the nice thing about supports is that they don’t really need the base stats from the Lightcone too much, so if the effect is good, 3* lightcone can be used

I remember when I started playing HSR I made sure to s5 every 3★ lightcone just in case they pulled a genshin and made one of them really strong. I'm glad I did haha
I literally did the same for bow weapon, called slingshot which has a Crit rate percentage as second stat and my reaction, "oh shoot I better keep this 😮". Utimately R5 each of theses and start to level at 90, such a good decision I did 😌

I've been using multiplication on Luocha since his release, never needed additional healing power on him so he's just purely there to normal attack every turn+his actions resetting faster means he has his free heal be more available. happy it gets some attention so my friends will stop saying I'm weird for using it.
I would make an argument for collapsing sky as an early game cone rather than a fodder one. It definitely has some usefulness on say, the physical trailblazer or hook who are more likely to be your early game destruction units than limited enhancement characters like IL/JL/Blade. It's a solid early game/starter cone to lean on until you get something more substantial like seriousness of breakfast.
My favourite potential use of Passkey is on Argenti with his 90 cost ultimate, funnily enough. Attacking into 5 enemies means he gets to do a 1 turn ult rotation, which could go insane if we get more support for break damage team builds in the future, because he does by far the most BUs of any unit in the game with this setup.

I've been wanting to find a video lately to tell me how good Meshing Cogs is cause I can't tell by myself, just the fact that it's good, period. Finally found the video I was looking for, and it gave me even more info about the others! Btw, Cornucopia is good. I used it on Bailu for a long time, only changing it when we got the event abundance lc, plus I also got her lc not long after that lol. I chose to use it despite having 4* lc since they were only S1 anyway. So yeah, great for early game, and for new players who didn't get the event lc, go use Cornucopia until you get a better one.
I thought all this time that it's like this: char takes 1 turn, cogs procs due to the attack and then cannot proc again till char's next turn due to the attack, NOT THAT EVERY SINGLE SEPARATE ENEMY CAN STILL PROC COGS

While Defense is very weak, it is kinda good on March in the early/mid game. Her shield at base lasts 3 turns, so by using her skill every turn she can shield all her teammates and loop back when the first shield runs out. But this leaves March without a shield. However, with her decent tank stats and the Defence LC, she doesn't need a shield since she can heal herself with her ult every 3 turns (assuming she gets hit for 15 energy, but if she doesn't get hit in 3 turns then she also doesn't need the healing). Against bosses this LC can be amazing and allows March to solo sustain the team. Does take a SP every turn, but if you like using her in the story it is a nice option. For me this LC was the key to defeating Phantylia underleveled with a TB, March, Welt, and trail Jing Yuan team.
Dreamy who gave me the call to use the 3* destruction lc that gives 24% cr below 80% hp on Blade, never felt the need to change it even after getting the herta shop lc lol since he doesnt care much about atk%, its just perfect for him.
Also just got to the 180 cap with coggers. Though my planar set is Keel because I had pieces with a lot of BE. Eventually I'm gonna try for one of the ERR sets, but right now I'm just glad I don't need Memories or her Signature LC because Cogs is the goat 😂
YEAHHHHHHH BABY WE MAKING OUT OF THE ASTRAL EXPRESS WITH THIS ONE 1. Mutual Demise is also okay on Arlan. Just _okay._ Just use Secret Vow if possible, but if you don't have that but have a chonky Gepard, you can use S5 Mutual Demise and dump what CR you would've needed on relics onto CD instead. 2. YEAH FINALLY SOMEONE WHO ACKNOWLEDGES HOW BROKEN PASSKEY IS WITH SERVAL. For anyone interested, I have this "Concert Serval" build which is basically this: S5 Passkey, 4pc Thief (24% BE and 4 Energy per break, making her a Break DPS either main or sub), E2 (Regen 5 Energy per trigger of Talent, up to 5x per turn), and a Gold ERR Rope. This, if you throw in receiving one hit, will guarantee her an Ultimate with just one Skill use. If you throw in Vonwacq (or Penacony if you're an insane gigachad) you can hit 20% ERR which basically grants you a guaranteed 1 Skill Ultimate rotation. Best used when your Serval starts a fight with her Ult ready. When I found out this build I didn't change out anymore. If you're going for SubDPS balance out BE and Crit stats with Speed, but as Main dump everything into Speed and Crit stats. 3. I used Shattered Home on Clara before getting her Signature and... it's just ok. At least Svarog just goes *D I E* on everyone.
My healers are still using Cornucopia without a problem even in MoC12. It has the same HP as all 4 star LC, unconditional 24% heal boost and it's defence is ok for survivability.
Once I heard about the existence of Multiplication Bailu, Luocha stonks dropped for my mind. I'll probably pick up HuoHuo in the future, but now I figure, "maybe someday I'll RNG into E6 Bailu, I should just find a way to make her work." Still don't actually have Bailu, though, but once I got E1 Bronya, I decided to use the selector on her or Himeko, depending on who I get first. Yanqing is not an option, it's a completely lost 50/50 if I get him.
Never really looked at Multiplication before, its actually really strong. For a Luocha, how does it compare to Perfect Timing? I have an S4 Perfect Timing specifically, got a lot of copies rolling for Luocha early on. Definitely agree with the Cogs hype. Making Harmony units have a quicker rotation (Tingyun and Ruan Mei 3 turn for me mainly) is so huge.
@@chokeolatte With just the 10% from Broken Keel and the 28% from Perfect Timing you already get around 16% outgoing healing which is already pretty great, and you only need 58% effect res to max it out at 24% outgoing healing which is definitely achievable (mine has 60+%). It also has 106 more base atk which improves his field's healing output significantly, and more hp/def prevents one shots in stuff like high Conundrum Gold and Gears Multiplication is only useful for teams that actually need skill points, as well as if your Luocha isn't that fast. Even in SP heavy teams, a 161 speed Luocha may be enough to generate what you need. Blade, Jingliu and E0 Clara teams without Bronya for example often don't consume many skill points, so a lot of the time it is just wasteful, whereas effect res is never really bad and keeps CC from ruining your rotations. Depending on the situation (ie. Cocolia fight) it can outweight the value of having more SP to burn, but both are fantastic cones either way
@@Doflaminguard That's kinda what I was thinking as well. More stats means Luocha is tankier, and since he already gets 70 Effect Res from a major trait he becomes really hard to CC, making his healing really reliable.

My Perfect Timing being S4 (f2p, just weird luck sometimes) makes me very hesitant to move away from it, just because the bonuses are so significant.
i was using those light cones since day 1 lmao, haven't changed them since they work much better than other higher rarity light cones, natasha can just heal using ultimate, the only time i used her skill is just to clear debuffs tingyun always ults so fast which is fckin great
Question about Multiplication Luocha. Do I want him on some speed, speed boots, or no speed at all? Do I even want him on Multiplication??? I mainly use him in slower DPS teams (IL, Blade). He's at 142 right now, which is enough field uptime and the auto-skill uses for most stuff comfortably, but he already feels squishy af... Maybe I should give him HP or DEF boots in that set up...?
my Yukong wants to skill every turn so i was initially unsure about cogs... until i realize that enemies still go after Foxian Beauty and not my Clara that is being healed by Lynx. probably the only 3★ Light Cone that i have multiple copies of.
Im learning my lesson from genshin. Getting only r2 white tassel because i accidentally using it for enchanting is so frustating. With no way to get it to r5. Now i save at least s5 every LC even it just 3*
I threw whatever random 5 star speed/break artifacts I had onto my ruan mei. Leveled up the artifacts. And realized that I wanted to downgrade my lightcone to cogs because I had too mcuh break. Note- I don't have a rank 5 memories of the past. Only rank 3. I never planned for this, but it is how my ruan mei naturally ended up.
Me using Hidden Shadow on Luka because I don't have enough 4* Nihility LC choices especially if I pair him with Sampo who already has S5 _EOTP_ (and most of the times I hate swapping LCs like I hate swapping weapons in Genshin) Also, _Coggers_ Enjoyer here too! (My Hanya has S5 of it and she go fast as f*cc boi!)
8:02 Could you or anyone here elaborate more on what they meant by "Lynx if your team allows it"? Cos checking on Prydwen, Lynx is also only the one who doesn't have Multiplication as an option for LC. Natasha does though, so not sure what I'm missing with Lynx and/or Natasha.
Just remember that the wording of Meshing Cogs is “This effect cannot be repeatedly triggered in a single turn” so every time an enemy attacks it’s considered another turn… Knowing how often Tingyun gets attacked it becomes very easy to charge them…
Coggers is such a godsend for poor player like me tbh. I have 5 of them raised 80/80 for Hanya, Tingyun, Asta, Ruan Mei, and Yukong (occasionally wear it) cuz it's so good and I love being able to spam ult 😂
I'm using meshing cogs since the beginning on my asta and it prob wont leave her for the rest of the time playing this game. Planetary randevouz could be another option and gives a lot of damage but giving asta her ultimate every other turn is just broken and more valuable then a bit more damage.

Hi, I'm sorry it's out of topic. But I've been thinking on pulling Kafka, and I'm wondering, when she use skill and triggers allies DoT, does that DoT count as normal non-crit DoT or Skill DMG that can actually Crit? Also I'm confused about the actual damage dealt, let say I've planted burn DoT and I have Asta in team, when Kafka triggers burn DoT, does it include Asta's Fire DMG boost? Or is it considered as simply Lightning DMG now that it's triggered by Kafka? Thanks in advance!
Multiplication is absolutely broken on Luocha. People complaining about the lower base stats forget that you need to add the character base stats as well. Luocha already has 756.76 ATK, which with Multiplication (317.52 ATK) goes to 1074.28 ATK while with the usual 4* light cones (423.36 ATK) goes to 1180.12 ATK. This is a difference of less than 10%. Switching from a 4* LC to Multiplication, Luocha's ATK is reduced to 91% but he acts 25% more often. This roughly translates to 14% more total damage, 14% more total healing, 25% more skill point generation, 25% more enemy buff cleanse, 25% faster CC metabolization, 25% more weakness break, 25% more triggers for various effects (such as SU blessings) etc... Also, spreading the healing in multiple smaller and faster heals is way more responsive and efficient. With Multiplication, Luocha already heals to full health, meaning that stronger heals are wasteful overheal. In my opinion, speed is by far the most important stat for Luocha. The Advanced Forward effect being multiplicative with any other speed buff makes it all the more rewarding.
Some have nice abilities, but I'd never put a 3* light cone on a 5* character, the lack of stats on them are just too much, except for maybe someone like a dedicated support who isn't attacking, but even then, you lose a lot of HP and defense, too. That said, I do keep at least one copy of each 3* light cone at s5 just because.
After 8 months I got an S5 copy of every 3 star and all of the 4 Star gacha ones, the only LC I am missing are the exclusive 5 Star ones and the Battle pass.
meshing cogs just has the stats of a 3 star but the soul of a 5 star. Honestly, look at Tingyun or Ruan Mei. It enables 3 turn ult rotation. As soon as it does that it makes limited 5 star look much less attractive to even think about

I chose to use it despite having 4* lc since they were only S1 anyway. So yeah, great for early game, and for new players who didn't get the event lc, go use Cornucopia until you get a better one.
Meshing Cogs' effect working once per turn per enemy is crazy. I suspect that's actually an unintended bug. Shh!!
I thought all this time that it's like this: char takes 1 turn, cogs procs due to the attack and then cannot proc again till char's next turn due to the attack, NOT THAT EVERY SINGLE SEPARATE ENEMY CAN STILL PROC COGS
I doubt it's a bug since each enemy has different turns much the same as each ally has different turns
Now that you mentioned the Passkey it could be an interesting LC to test with Argenti xD

While Defense is very weak, it is kinda good on March in the early/mid game. Her shield at base lasts 3 turns, so by using her skill every turn she can shield all her teammates and loop back when the first shield runs out. But this leaves March without a shield. However, with her decent tank stats and the Defence LC, she doesn't need a shield since she can heal herself with her ult every 3 turns (assuming she gets hit for 15 energy, but if she doesn't get hit in 3 turns then she also doesn't need the healing). Against bosses this LC can be amazing and allows March to solo sustain the team. Does take a SP every turn, but if you like using her in the story it is a nice option. For me this LC was the key to defeating Phantylia underleveled with a TB, March, Welt, and trail Jing Yuan team.
I felt proud of myself for knowing where "Chorus" would be in the ranking, but that's all I knew :D

Dreamy who gave me the call to use the 3* destruction lc that gives 24% cr below 80% hp on Blade, never felt the need to change it even after getting the herta shop lc lol since he doesnt care much about atk%, its just perfect for him.
I have ended up using cogs on ruan mei. Was quite painful getting the 180 break effect with cogs though😅

Also just got to the 180 cap with coggers. Though my planar set is Keel because I had pieces with a lot of BE. Eventually I'm gonna try for one of the ERR sets, but right now I'm just glad I don't need Memories or her Signature LC because Cogs is the goat 😂

1. Mutual Demise is also okay on Arlan. Just _okay._ Just use Secret Vow if possible, but if you don't have that but have a chonky Gepard, you can use S5 Mutual Demise and dump what CR you would've needed on relics onto CD instead.
2. YEAH FINALLY SOMEONE WHO ACKNOWLEDGES HOW BROKEN PASSKEY IS WITH SERVAL. For anyone interested, I have this "Concert Serval" build which is basically this: S5 Passkey, 4pc Thief (24% BE and 4 Energy per break, making her a Break DPS either main or sub), E2 (Regen 5 Energy per trigger of Talent, up to 5x per turn), and a Gold ERR Rope. This, if you throw in receiving one hit, will guarantee her an Ultimate with just one Skill use. If you throw in Vonwacq (or Penacony if you're an insane gigachad) you can hit 20% ERR which basically grants you a guaranteed 1 Skill Ultimate rotation. Best used when your Serval starts a fight with her Ult ready. When I found out this build I didn't change out anymore. If you're going for SubDPS balance out BE and Crit stats with Speed, but as Main dump everything into Speed and Crit stats.
3. I used Shattered Home on Clara before getting her Signature and... it's just ok. At least Svarog just goes *D I E* on everyone.

My healers are still using Cornucopia without a problem even in MoC12. It has the same HP as all 4 star LC, unconditional 24% heal boost and it's defence is ok for survivability.

Once I heard about the existence of Multiplication Bailu, Luocha stonks dropped for my mind. I'll probably pick up HuoHuo in the future, but now I figure, "maybe someday I'll RNG into E6 Bailu, I should just find a way to make her work."
Still don't actually have Bailu, though, but once I got E1 Bronya, I decided to use the selector on her or Himeko, depending on who I get first. Yanqing is not an option, it's a completely lost 50/50 if I get him.
Never really looked at Multiplication before, its actually really strong. For a Luocha, how does it compare to Perfect Timing? I have an S4 Perfect Timing specifically, got a lot of copies rolling for Luocha early on.
Definitely agree with the Cogs hype. Making Harmony units have a quicker rotation (Tingyun and Ruan Mei 3 turn for me mainly) is so huge.
Imho, Perfect Timing is just a way to cheat Broken Keel passive.
Utility (sp gain) from sumn like Multiplication is def better.
@@chokeolatte With just the 10% from Broken Keel and the 28% from Perfect Timing you already get around 16% outgoing healing which is already pretty great, and you only need 58% effect res to max it out at 24% outgoing healing which is definitely achievable (mine has 60+%). It also has 106 more base atk which improves his field's healing output significantly, and more hp/def prevents one shots in stuff like high Conundrum Gold and Gears
Multiplication is only useful for teams that actually need skill points, as well as if your Luocha isn't that fast. Even in SP heavy teams, a 161 speed Luocha may be enough to generate what you need. Blade, Jingliu and E0 Clara teams without Bronya for example often don't consume many skill points, so a lot of the time it is just wasteful, whereas effect res is never really bad and keeps CC from ruining your rotations. Depending on the situation (ie. Cocolia fight) it can outweight the value of having more SP to burn, but both are fantastic cones either way
I prefer Perfect Timing. Effect Res is too important for healers. I raged using Bailu before because of being CCd and cannot use heals.
@@Doflaminguard That's kinda what I was thinking as well. More stats means Luocha is tankier, and since he already gets 70 Effect Res from a major trait he becomes really hard to CC, making his healing really reliable.

My Perfect Timing being S4 (f2p, just weird luck sometimes) makes me very hesitant to move away from it, just because the bonuses are so significant.

i was using those light cones since day 1 lmao, haven't changed them since they work much better than other higher rarity light cones,
natasha can just heal using ultimate, the only time i used her skill is just to clear debuffs
tingyun always ults so fast which is fckin great
oh yeah i have them all fully ranked same with weapons in genshin, that black tasel is so useful in many chars

Question about Multiplication Luocha. Do I want him on some speed, speed boots, or no speed at all? Do I even want him on Multiplication??? I mainly use him in slower DPS teams (IL, Blade). He's at 142 right now, which is enough field uptime and the auto-skill uses for most stuff comfortably, but he already feels squishy af... Maybe I should give him HP or DEF boots in that set up...?

my Yukong wants to skill every turn so i was initially unsure about cogs... until i realize that enemies still go after Foxian Beauty and not my Clara that is being healed by Lynx. probably the only 3★ Light Cone that i have multiple copies of.

I threw whatever random 5 star speed/break artifacts I had onto my ruan mei. Leveled up the artifacts. And realized that I wanted to downgrade my lightcone to cogs because I had too mcuh break. Note- I don't have a rank 5 memories of the past. Only rank 3. I never planned for this, but it is how my ruan mei naturally ended up.
I need to put Cogs on Tingyun because I swear to gods she has the turbo levels of aggro that only dedicated Taunt may take the enemies away from

Lynx skills often if using her for her aggro, so she doesn’t gain much benefit

Just remember that the wording of Meshing Cogs is “This effect cannot be repeatedly triggered in a single turn” so every time an enemy attacks it’s considered another turn… Knowing how often Tingyun gets attacked it becomes very easy to charge them…

Coggers is such a godsend for poor player like me tbh. I have 5 of them raised 80/80 for Hanya, Tingyun, Asta, Ruan Mei, and Yukong (occasionally wear it) cuz it's so good and I love being able to spam ult 😂
in a nutshell we have: a bunch that are unusable, some useful ones in certain situations, and then we have cogs being a chad and loved by everyone.

I'm using meshing cogs since the beginning on my asta and it prob wont leave her for the rest of the time playing this game. Planetary randevouz could be another option and gives a lot of damage but giving asta her ultimate every other turn is just broken and more valuable then a bit more damage.
I already use 2 COGGERS cones and I might have to level a 3rd soon 😂. It’s so damn good and really satisfying to have faster ults. I didn’t even know the energy gain from being hit with Cogs activates every time? That’s insane. So what is the actual limitation of cogs then if the description is false? Does it activate from every basic attack and every time you get hit? No limitations?

But I've been thinking on pulling Kafka, and I'm wondering, when she use skill and triggers allies DoT, does that DoT count as normal non-crit DoT or Skill DMG that can actually Crit? Also I'm confused about the actual damage dealt, let say I've planted burn DoT and I have Asta in team, when Kafka triggers burn DoT, does it include Asta's Fire DMG boost? Or is it considered as simply Lightning DMG now that it's triggered by Kafka?

Multiplication is absolutely broken on Luocha. People complaining about the lower base stats forget that you need to add the character base stats as well.
Luocha already has 756.76 ATK, which with Multiplication (317.52 ATK) goes to 1074.28 ATK while with the usual 4* light cones (423.36 ATK) goes to 1180.12 ATK.
This is a difference of less than 10%. Switching from a 4* LC to Multiplication, Luocha's ATK is reduced to 91% but he acts 25% more often.
This roughly translates to 14% more total damage, 14% more total healing, 25% more skill point generation, 25% more enemy buff cleanse, 25% faster CC metabolization, 25% more weakness break, 25% more triggers for various effects (such as SU blessings) etc...
Also, spreading the healing in multiple smaller and faster heals is way more responsive and efficient.
With Multiplication, Luocha already heals to full health, meaning that stronger heals are wasteful overheal.
In my opinion, speed is by far the most important stat for Luocha. The Advanced Forward effect being multiplicative with any other speed buff makes it all the more rewarding.
Some have nice abilities, but I'd never put a 3* light cone on a 5* character, the lack of stats on them are just too much, except for maybe someone like a dedicated support who isn't attacking, but even then, you lose a lot of HP and defense, too. That said, I do keep at least one copy of each 3* light cone at s5 just because.
After 8 months I got an S5 copy of every 3 star and all of the 4 Star gacha ones, the only LC I am missing are the exclusive 5 Star ones and the Battle pass.

meshing cogs just has the stats of a 3 star but the soul of a 5 star. Honestly, look at Tingyun or Ruan Mei. It enables 3 turn ult rotation. As soon as it does that it makes limited 5 star look much less attractive to even think about
