Which 5 Star Light Cones do you have? And which are you planning on getting?! (sorry for some of the visual glitches, davinci bugged during rendering ig ) NOTES: - Himeko's Light Cone will see some great use in pure fiction as many enemies will spawn at the same time, allowing for a high buff. Also tons of breaks since it should be lots of weaker enemies. So this cone isn't too bad anymore :)
You didn't discuss the battle pass hunt cone, I think its untested under-rated. I'm sitting on 940 starlight, if I randomly pull Bronya I'll get her cone right away. If I get to 1200 starlight I'll consider Something Irreplaceable for Clara. I random pulled Bailu's
Love how applicable the 5 star LC are on 4 star characters. Feels really balanced and still allows you to use the characters you love overall. Plus this lightcone design just allows more creative weapons characters can use rather than limiting the characters to just a roster of weapons which I really like
The Hunt LC feels so good on Seele because of her turn extensions. I lucked it though. I plan to get Bronya's LC because I'm a big fan of her and the Bronya Seele combo is stacking up well in MoC. After that I'll get wishes because there's so many cool new units.
Unless they give the boss a buff for every summoned enemies on the field (maybe dmg reduction/atk buff), people are just going to ignore it, direct attacking the boss and overwhelm it with big pp damage. Sad that they had to do that much just to make one path relevant though. Now that I think about it that stupid counter buff is already exist lmao maybe something similar to that to give more incentive in attacking the mobs
@@kanzaki2672u know this exact boss exist already in game, specifically in MoC floor 6 it's friggin ebon deer 🙂 The summon unit can heal, give attack buff, def buff + toughness reduction immunity, counter, crowd control and if you ignore them for several turn it will deal massive aoe dmg. I still choose to attack the main boss and opt to imprison and debuff all of the summoned unit using my luocha ultimate though
My initial plan was to rush Bronya LC because I highly value skill point generation. But lately I've been feeling more inclined to skip the LCs altogether and just keep the points banked indefinitely until I need some extra pulls to hit pity. The 4* alternatives are pretty great in most scenarios, so I'm not convinced any of these would be massive needle movers when it comes to clearing content.
Bronya's cone is pretty loaded. With the right hyper-carry you have the bonus damage. There's the skill point regeneration, and also the energy regen. The 4* alternatives each only really replicate one of those three effects at a time, while having less stats too. The signature cone adds up to a fair amount of value. Of course you need to have Bronya, use her a bunch, have a good hyper-carry, to get that value. It's clearly designed for Bronya and isn't much better than the 4*s for not-Bronya. You get the energy regen and the skill point, but the bonus damage becomes hard to use without heavy speed-tuning. It's not as good for Jin Yung support either as it doesn't buff the lightning lord. I bought her cone and don't regret it, but I got E1 Bronya from the beginner banner and as an off-rate on Seele, so I have more of a reason to invest in her than most people.

How worth is her LC on E1 Bronya compared to say the 30 pulls that would more or less go towards Kafka’s LC if I’m not lucky? I do want it but I’m not so sure how much I’d need it especially if I use the standard 5* pick at 300 for E2 Bronya (contemplating Welt or Gepard as well).
@@aienjell I am not sure anyone but you can answer that question truly. But as I see it you already at E1 have her refunding skill points, so the lightcone enhances that and improves her kit as a result of it's synergy. I think the better you have a character (as a result of Edilons) the stronger they will be in a synergistic team and the more likely you are to be to want to bring them to harder content. As a result you should be more inclined to invest in them - be it levels, (good) traces, and functional lightcones. If those 30 pulls cost you a character you want though, then that's a pretty high tax. So depends how many pulls you have saved. How much you want that character, etc... Getting to 300 without spending will take a good while. Law of averages we're going to get a good few offrates between now and then. Luck there is hard to anticipate. E2 Bronya does look good though with the speed steroid (though that's going to make the team even more skill point hungry). Welt and Geppard are obviously great. Geppard because by the sounds of it he can be both a tank and and pretty much a proactive healer. And Welt for enemy interference/turn delay and off dps and imaginary damage. This also assumes Bronya is a good long-term investment. I think most people think she is, but that's also a factor to weigh.

I'll be going for Clara's light cone just because it makes her a lot comfier as the main tank so I can run solo healer without too many issues. Also because I have a ton of fun solo'ing SU with Clara, and her light cone will make those first several fights a *lot* easier to handle if I whiff on my blessings. I've also been considering keeping my starlight saved up for the off-chance that there's a character I *really* want but am just shy on wishes to get to pity before the banner ends, but there aren't any characters coming in the next couple patches that I'm *really* set on getting (besides maybe a potential 5* quantum preservation character possibly coming in 1.3 for my Silver Wolf teams :p)
I pulled something irreplacable today, but I don't have clara. Do you think it will work with future destruction characters such as Jingliu in the future better than 4 star options or is it too inconsistent? Do you think it's worth taking clara as my 5 star of choice when i get to 300 warps to capitalize on the great synergy? Current notable characters are Seele/Silver Wolf/Welt and at least a copy of all the 4 stars in the game I think.
I dont discuss leaks, but any future destruction that goes lower HP can use it great, and for the 300 pick who you want, dont base it off a light cone ^^
@@guobacertified thanks so much :) when I was reading it, it specifically says "when attacked" as opposed to "when HP is lowered" so i feel like even a future destruction character that lowers HP might not take advantage of it properly?
Glad to hear Moment of Victory is so good because I've been trying to get Clara from the 300 wishes bonus (I'm at 235 now) and what I've gotten from it in order is Himeko, Moment of Victory and *ANOTHER Moment of Victory!* It was annoying at the time, but considering I lost the 50/50 to Gepard, it surprisingly all worked out in the end
I think I will go for pulls for now. I want some of the upcoming characters and you can get those LCs from regular and event banners, so I currently value pulls in general more than a guaranteed 5* LC. Even though I had really bad luck with Preservation LCs and Moment of Victory would be great improvement.
I have Gepard, Clara and Bronya and i chose to get Gepard's LC. No regret so far as he can now solo sustain MOC 10. the added effect hit rate is also so good as his skill now have a high chance of freezing enemies. Using Landaus choice before and the difference is night and day. Edit: Bronya is using S5 Memories of the past LC and Clara using S3 secret bow LC.

Dude, I have been looking for this content all over the internet and could not find it anywhere. This is an amazing breakdown, I appreciate your attention to detail and comparison. This is a huge decision and I have been debating on getting Geppard cone because I have Geppie. But I do also have "Landau choice" and "day one of my new life" and I don't think I've ever seen him die when using those cones. And you're right, 30 pulls is like half a limited five star which tend to be bonkers. So the internal debate continues but now I am much more informed! Thank you!

So now I don't have to make a choice, I pulled on the luocha banner with my 30 pulls, lost the 50/50 to Yangquing, which honestly is kind of sweet because now I have the full set of MOV Geppie with him. I've been saving Starlight for a while now, and after pulling for Jingliu I'll have enough to pick up Moment of Dub. Thank you so much for this information - it helps me feel much more confident in this decision!
Was hoping to see some numbers on multiplication. Bailu in partiucular is such a strong healer/defensive option that you'd think it would be viable to just run multiplication on her and get more skill points for her team... and more attacks on her also of course increase her own energy.
I got Geopard as my guaranteed 5 star from the beginner banner and at first I was really disappointed I didn't get someone else But after like a week or two of not using him, I finally got him lvled and I have loved him ever since and aimed to get his LC when I can and I'm glad to be reassured it's a good choice because I really like his gameplay of simply being a tank with a bit of freeze for emergencies
Awesome video and tysm for the suggestions! I ended up getting insane luck as a dolphin and now have all standard characters+geppy and bailu's LCs. I was thinking of going for Bronya's sig LC, but the extra SP I'd get wouldnt be too important for my blade hypercarry team, and i'd mainly be getting it purely for the energy regen. I think I'm going to go with Welt's LC since I love Welt's character, lore, and playstyle, but this vid helped me make my decision! tysm!
Speaking of not buying them but randomly getting those cones is always good (usually BiS or one of for standard character and generally decent for every member of a path) and it's difficult to name them bad (bc at least they function as best stat stick if you don't have other 5*). Ofc they'll never offer as much as time-limited 5* cones, but they perform usually at the same power lvl as decent cones at S5 or top meta 4* cones at lower superimpositions. Even if have good options like few Post Op Conversation with Bailu's cone or Clara's cone with farmable cone from Herta's shop you'll often need multiple cones of same way for 2 teams. I have 2 5* cones from standard banner (Clara's and Bailu's), I'm using Bailu's cone on Bailu (and POC S2 on Natasha), Clara's cone is still dusting until I'll get her or will get more eidolons of Hook. Also since we know shop rotation and almost half of those characters were given for free it's not worth even more wasting currency or there're exceptions like if you don't have Tingyun or maybe there's op eidolons?

Bronya one only bumps you to a 3 turn cycle, but you are right we want a 4 turn cycle of bronya auto into skill, so it’s a waste! Maybe once an ER set comes out it could give her a 2 turn rotation, but that’s a ways off. Thank you for reminding me of this! And same for gepard, this cone is better, but he’s the last to die anyway so I don’t think it’s really worth, just for another 30% defense and some taunt. Love all this great content.
Gepard's def also contributes to his attack dmg and most importantly, his shield capacity. If you want a no healer team in MoC with Gepard for more dmg, I'd recommend it
Just roll on the standard banner and get a second Bronya LC(the first I got from the gacha roll). Do I superimposition or save it for another Harmony character?
Forgot to even consider how the %10 ERR on Bronyas lightcone would affect her rotations. Going to try that 3 turn ultimate just to see how insanely high the skill point consumption could be and see if it is even in the realm of manageable with like double multiplication.

Thanks for such great video with great in game advice . After this I immediately went to game and used my 400+ starlight or whatever for 20 pulls and I got great return . Got luocha and E6 pela so i think it is better than one 5 star lightcone(btw am 100% f2p). So am Happy I got your video recommended . Keep up the good work 👍
Really good video, imo 30 pulls (half a pity) are more valuable right now. Getting new characters should be a priority, once I have enough characters maybe i’ll consider getting Bronya LC (and by that time these LC might not even be worth who knows).
Fr, I don’t understand how people literally forget you’ll get these LC’s passively over time from standard and/or losing 50/50 anyways. Actively wasting 30 pulls on them seems kinda pointless
It’s good to know Bronya’s works so well on her since I got lucky (or unlucky) enough to get Gepard’s already, so I have no reason to hesitate. Wish I had Yanqing’s since I use him kind of frequently but I can cope with his four star
MoV is also good for M7 - it allows her to solo sustain a team in MoC, since it also buffs her Freeze chance. With all the aggro on M7 and her E1, she’ll be spamming AOE Freezes quite easily! Many 30 star MoC runs with no Gepard/Bailu have M7 with MoV to thank!
absolutely going for moment of victory when i save up enough for it, that's been the plan for a while now actually. i intend to be the #1 f2p trailblazer main on na ((definitely has nothing to do with being a traveler main in genshin nope but totally unrelated note i am pleasantly surprised by how strong the protagonist is in star rail)), so those massive stats are a MUST for her preservation version. i also managed to get something irreplaceable from standard, which ive been using whenever i have her on destruction, and it seems to be fairly solid for her. still crossing my fingers for relic presets, tho, bc swapping sets is a PAIN and currently the BIGGEST reason i dont use the bat more often. we still have yet to get them in genshin either, so i guess we'll see.
Is the heal from Clara LC only once per turn or every hit? I'm close to buying 1 LC from the shop and really contemplating whether buy Clara's or buy Gepard's LC, since I'll be picking Gepard from the 300 pull bonus
I have yet to pull a 5* character off of the standard warp. All I've gotten are Bronya and Himeko's (rip) lightcones. I'll likely lean towards Pulls to hopefully help diversify my 5* roster since my luck is shot at the moment.
If the system is the same as Genshin's I think Standard banner doesn't let you get 3 in a row of Char/Weapon so good news is your next 5* should be a character!
I had to spend around 250 starlight to get Jing Yuan's lightcone so I've set myself back around 2 months or so. It was definitely worth it to go for tho because it's so much better than any other erudition lc so I don't regret it. When I hit 600 I will probably go for Gepard's if I don't get it from standard before that because he's one of my favourites and his lc makes an EHR/DEF hybrid build more viable.
I'm seriously considering the Geppie LC for sheer quality-of-life. It's really annoying when he's the sole defensive unit and the enemy goes for your squishies on some turns and there's no way to heal em.
If you use Landou's choice it will give you the same aggro as his light cone, and the damage decrease is better than the def% his LC gives. Don't spend 30 pulls just to get a slight upgrade over a 4* LC
@@mattavarius5119Moment of victory makes his shield more beefier though, Landaus choice only makes himself beefier, but his ult shield allows your allies to tank more dmg with you, this is very useful against AOE attacks
@@A.Singularity If all aggro is on Gepard then ally shields don't need to be super strong, even AOE isn't going to punch through by itself. And his shield at high investment is already VERY strong, the extra defense from his signature LC isn't that much in comparison)
Isnt landau choice gave you better aggro than moment of victory? That is why some people run Landau choice rather than the 5* if they really want aggro

wonderful video! i got time waits for no one as a surprise pull and have it raised wayyy before i got post op conversation, so if they're that similar in numbers, i think it should be fine to keep it on natasha :')) quick question! i have we are wildfire on my fmc as of right now and both fmc and that light cone are built to a pretty high level, but i also have landau's choice. at this point, should i switch the light cone to landau's choice instead, or should i keep we are wildfire on? the healing is a nice cherry on top and the reduced damage on the first few turns for everyone is nice, but if a more permanent, though also more centered reduced damage for the wearer is better, then i'll switch the light cone. any feedback is welcome, thank you in advance!
My pick is currently between Bronya’s and Gepard’s. I have Bronya thankfully, but I don’t have Gepard yet. I also have Landau’s choice, but that sheer defense buff looks very tasty if I end up losing pity or normal pulling Gepard at some point. It is rather funny though as I accidentally got an E1 Clara and her light cone which is fantastic on her.
I got e1 clara and wondering whether to get her lc since I need sum sustain(running mono physical team with clara as tank) or just use herta shop LC at s5 and built her with tanky substat. I also thinking of getting bronya lc aswell as I have bronya. Should I just get bronya lc instead?

Hope they design more balanced weapons in Genshin. I enjoy both games a lot, but the guarenteed 5 star in Honkai in the beginner better surpasses the free Noelle. Also being able to get 5 star weapons from both Herta snd shop, but nothing like that in Genshin

Good analytical vid. The main thing about bronya for me is: what else is she gonna run if she doesnt run err for the rope? Which is why i still prefer fleet and personally see the er as juat a bonus at s4 or below for now. Btw as for 3 turn I want to mention a expected sp neutral bronya (statistically expected +0.2 ish sp per 6 turns) rotation is possible at e1s5 doing 2 skill 1 basic(not counting dps sp usage) with vonwacq + er rope. Yes it is very expensive to get but I think this is very strong considering her ult is 2 turns and she skills twice to buff the dps. Personally this is what im going to save for whether I regret it or not by then

No, once her banner is gone, she's gone until her banner "reruns". Whatever pity you earned on her banner just carries over to the next one getting you closer to the guarantee OF THE CURRENT LIMITED BANNER character. The standard banner does not have limited banner characters in their drop pool.
@@JamezJN007 I lost my 50 50 on Seele to Welt at guarantee and then took another 60 pulls to get the guarantee which ended on Jing Yuan as I didn't have enough jades for pulls until then, so it is frustrating having such a high cost (150+ pulls) to get a single character you want if luck doesn't go your way. The thing with Seele is you have to build her right to get the insane damage. But when you do it is crazy. I borrow her for all the echoes of war to decimate the bosses.
The only standard banner character and lightcone I’m missing is Geppie and his sig Lightcone. I have the starlight to buy one. Should I go for it? Also, which of the standards get the most benefits from superimpositions?
Idk about superimpositions, may just be best to keep copies. Can do a follow up on that one day. You can get his sig if you want it, but its not 100% needed, its just the best in raw stats
I've been looking up Welt's LC lately coz I got it from standard pulls. I don't have Welt and would like to ask to whom I can or should use this with? I have Silverwolf, Pela and Sampo as my current Nihility Characters and planning to pull for Kafka and hoping to get some Luka as well. I really like the Nihility Path and for me it's one of the most unique and fun path for me so I'm going to focus my investments on them. Thank you in advance!

I think it is very much worth considering that Gepard E1 means the EHR on Gepard's LC becomes less valueable. Further, we are right now fairly resource starved, thus in the future the builds and investment into Gepard will improve. And with it, the value from the LC becomes less meaningful to have strong shields. Yet 30 pulls is basically half a soft pity.
Still consider the Effect Res of the enemies in higher levels are higher especially bosses. Excessive EHR is still valuable otherwise even if Gepard is E1 + _freezing enemies is fun af!_

I have E1 Gepard and there’s no boss that i cannot insta-freeze with my skill even at MoC 9-10. Do you still believe that Geppy signature LC is a mandatory choice to replace my S5 Day on of my new life? (Basically i only get a lil buff in flat defense and the last effect of the LC)
It still does give him more Ehr with higher defense and increased aggro value it's a straight up buff for him in that case I like the 4* option fire Mc much more since when she's hits her/his 67% Ehr she/he can just perma taunt and guarantee herself getting focused
@@CupCop69 You don't really need more EHR if you have Geppy's E1, that's why I was wondering if the signature LC is still a "must" option compared to "Day one of my new life". (I already have another S2 "Day one" equipped with my fire MC as it's very good on him/her too)
I have gepard and bronya. But I think I want bronya's cone more because it helps her deal with her weakness on top of buffing her strength gepards cone just improves what he is already the best at.
I already have Moment Of Victory. So I just buy passes until Before Dawn or In The Night is in the shop.. or any characters I want Eidolons as I have almost every 4* already. Also, is it possible to get one of the battle pass LC through gacha? I really want the dmg boost based of max energy, best for QQ
Great video! I'm currently saving (already on ~450 starlights) for Clara's signature because I primary use her as cheap and easy universal damage dealer and investing in Secret Vow over lvl 60 for her would feel like a waste of resources. It's a necessity and much better than 30 pulls in this case.
This was a useful video, as I have recent got Welt and wasn't sure what to make of his lightcone. I'd seen sources suggest that GNSW was potentially better for him at the cost of having to find EHR elsewhere. Incessant Rain looks good too, though without help I'm not sure how reliable Welt can keep three debuffs up? Party can help of course. Actually it's probably not hard with the effect from the lightcone itself. Myself, I've picked up Bronya's lightcone and Gepard's. I really wasn't sure what to make of Bailu's. I glad I didn't let it temp me. I did some rough math on the bonus damage and it seemed pretty weak, so all it really seemed to bring over Post-op was the HP at the cost of energy regen (but probably higher base stats). I really liked the idea of getting more damage out of Bailu using the cone, but it just didn't seem that consequential. And I already had S4 Quid Pro Quo and Post Op. Kinda weird that some of the signature cones are really quite strong while the others really struggle value wise. Seems like a bit of a weak job on the balance side.
GNSW best for dmg ye, Rain new BIS and he can get the debuffs easy. But you can just chill with GNSW/ his own. Bronya and Gepard are great ones! ^^ Maybe some LCs will get more value later tho
Lost the 50/50 to Himeko's LC but still using it on my Serval Night on the Milky Way- Serval Something Irreplaceable- Clara Moment of Victory- Fire MC I'm not rolling Jing Yuan's cone for my Serval and I skipped the JY banner. The server talked me out of getting Bailu's LC and get QPQ instead, currently S5 but relics is subpar. Can definitely improve on the healing so it's not regretful. I'm technically waiting for my Bronya spook or I'll just get her after 300 rolls. Will definitely get her cone and have her be meta defining. In the mean time I don't really want the other cones. It will all go to 30 rolls soon enough. This video may have convinced me to get the BP erudition cone for my Serval. Need to think on it more.
Serval can keep Milky or go Breakfast, BP cone is worse than them until like S3-4 on her. BP Cone iS WAY more valuable on other erudition units, cause she has 100 energy.
I pulled Gepards LC, it has been doing good work on Trailblazer. I plan to get Claras LC next because I pulled her a few days ago and i should have the starlight to get her cone when the next banner comes around. Plus I have like no other good destruction cones.

Question regarding In The Name Of The World, for future characters like Kafka, would the ATK% boost apply to her detonate of DoTs? Since those detonate as part of her skill
I pulled In the Name of the World in the gacha. I have both Welt and Sampo and use them both a lot, but is it even worth leveling the cone? The main options I have to compete with it right now are Resolution (S1), Good Night Sleep Well (S1), Fermata (S2), and Loop (S5). i (somehow) lost to gepard AND got his lightcone from standard and i can say that those will be my best pulls in this account for a long time. no enemy deals enough damage to get through my teams defense (unless theyre super overleveled like moc) and simulated universe becomes a piece of cake for first clears on the path of preservation. i love him and his lc!!
I probably won't purchase a light cone from the shop..but if I had to choose one, I'd say I would get clara's (Assuming I ever lose 50/50 to Clara or get her from standard), because the only real good (universal 4*) destruction light cone (from my memory) is "a sacred vow", and I will have that on blade in the future.. and I would not want to keep switching off light cones. I also really like Clara as a character, so I would want the best for her. XD

- Himeko's Light Cone will see some great use in pure fiction as many enemies will spawn at the same time, allowing for a high buff. Also tons of breaks since it should be lots of weaker enemies. So this cone isn't too bad anymore :)

Love how applicable the 5 star LC are on 4 star characters. Feels really balanced and still allows you to use the characters you love overall. Plus this lightcone design just allows more creative weapons characters can use rather than limiting the characters to just a roster of weapons which I really like

I plan to get Bronya's LC because I'm a big fan of her and the Bronya Seele combo is stacking up well in MoC.

Unless they give the boss a buff for every summoned enemies on the field (maybe dmg reduction/atk buff), people are just going to ignore it, direct attacking the boss and overwhelm it with big pp damage.
Sad that they had to do that much just to make one path relevant though.
Now that I think about it that stupid counter buff is already exist lmao maybe something similar to that to give more incentive in attacking the mobs

The summon unit can heal, give attack buff, def buff + toughness reduction immunity, counter, crowd control and if you ignore them for several turn it will deal massive aoe dmg. I still choose to attack the main boss and opt to imprison and debuff all of the summoned unit using my luocha ultimate though

Gepard's light cone is OP on March, she utilizes the effect hit rate way better than the other preservation characters
My initial plan was to rush Bronya LC because I highly value skill point generation. But lately I've been feeling more inclined to skip the LCs altogether and just keep the points banked indefinitely until I need some extra pulls to hit pity. The 4* alternatives are pretty great in most scenarios, so I'm not convinced any of these would be massive needle movers when it comes to clearing content.
Yeah Im hoardinggg, but Bronya LC sounds gud ^^
Bronya's cone is pretty loaded. With the right hyper-carry you have the bonus damage. There's the skill point regeneration, and also the energy regen. The 4* alternatives each only really replicate one of those three effects at a time, while having less stats too. The signature cone adds up to a fair amount of value.
Of course you need to have Bronya, use her a bunch, have a good hyper-carry, to get that value. It's clearly designed for Bronya and isn't much better than the 4*s for not-Bronya. You get the energy regen and the skill point, but the bonus damage becomes hard to use without heavy speed-tuning. It's not as good for Jin Yung support either as it doesn't buff the lightning lord.
I bought her cone and don't regret it, but I got E1 Bronya from the beginner banner and as an off-rate on Seele, so I have more of a reason to invest in her than most people.

How worth is her LC on E1 Bronya compared to say the 30 pulls that would more or less go towards Kafka’s LC if I’m not lucky? I do want it but I’m not so sure how much I’d need it especially if I use the standard 5* pick at 300 for E2 Bronya (contemplating Welt or Gepard as well).

@@aienjell I am not sure anyone but you can answer that question truly. But as I see it you already at E1 have her refunding skill points, so the lightcone enhances that and improves her kit as a result of it's synergy. I think the better you have a character (as a result of Edilons) the stronger they will be in a synergistic team and the more likely you are to be to want to bring them to harder content. As a result you should be more inclined to invest in them - be it levels, (good) traces, and functional lightcones.
If those 30 pulls cost you a character you want though, then that's a pretty high tax. So depends how many pulls you have saved. How much you want that character, etc...
Getting to 300 without spending will take a good while. Law of averages we're going to get a good few offrates between now and then. Luck there is hard to anticipate. E2 Bronya does look good though with the speed steroid (though that's going to make the team even more skill point hungry).
Welt and Geppard are obviously great. Geppard because by the sounds of it he can be both a tank and and pretty much a proactive healer. And Welt for enemy interference/turn delay and off dps and imaginary damage.
This also assumes Bronya is a good long-term investment. I think most people think she is, but that's also a factor to weigh.
I just picked up Bronyas, It was definitely a hard pick between It, Welt and Gepards but that extra ER and SP is just soo nice

I'll be going for Clara's light cone just because it makes her a lot comfier as the main tank so I can run solo healer without too many issues. Also because I have a ton of fun solo'ing SU with Clara, and her light cone will make those first several fights a *lot* easier to handle if I whiff on my blessings.
I've also been considering keeping my starlight saved up for the off-chance that there's a character I *really* want but am just shy on wishes to get to pity before the banner ends, but there aren't any characters coming in the next couple patches that I'm *really* set on getting (besides maybe a potential 5* quantum preservation character possibly coming in 1.3 for my Silver Wolf teams :p)

I pulled something irreplacable today, but I don't have clara. Do you think it will work with future destruction characters such as Jingliu in the future better than 4 star options or is it too inconsistent? Do you think it's worth taking clara as my 5 star of choice when i get to 300 warps to capitalize on the great synergy?
Current notable characters are Seele/Silver Wolf/Welt and at least a copy of all the 4 stars in the game I think.
I dont discuss leaks, but any future destruction that goes lower HP can use it great, and for the 300 pick who you want, dont base it off a light cone ^^

Glad to hear Moment of Victory is so good because I've been trying to get Clara from the 300 wishes bonus (I'm at 235 now) and what I've gotten from it in order is Himeko, Moment of Victory and *ANOTHER Moment of Victory!*
It was annoying at the time, but considering I lost the 50/50 to Gepard, it surprisingly all worked out in the end

I think I will go for pulls for now. I want some of the upcoming characters and you can get those LCs from regular and event banners, so I currently value pulls in general more than a guaranteed 5* LC. Even though I had really bad luck with Preservation LCs and Moment of Victory would be great improvement.
I have Gepard, Clara and Bronya and i chose to get Gepard's LC. No regret so far as he can now solo sustain MOC 10. the added effect hit rate is also so good as his skill now have a high chance of freezing enemies. Using Landaus choice before and the difference is night and day.
Edit: Bronya is using S5 Memories of the past LC and Clara using S3 secret bow LC.

Dude, I have been looking for this content all over the internet and could not find it anywhere. This is an amazing breakdown, I appreciate your attention to detail and comparison. This is a huge decision and I have been debating on getting Geppard cone because I have Geppie. But I do also have "Landau choice" and "day one of my new life" and I don't think I've ever seen him die when using those cones. And you're right, 30 pulls is like half a limited five star which tend to be bonkers. So the internal debate continues but now I am much more informed! Thank you!

Was hoping to see some numbers on multiplication. Bailu in partiucular is such a strong healer/defensive option that you'd think it would be viable to just run multiplication on her and get more skill points for her team... and more attacks on her also of course increase her own energy.
I put it in the vid, but no calcs on the sheet because thats for healing. It is the SP variant of quid pro quo, gifting SP over energy
i wonder if time waits for no one works with luocha's field, so that every ally attack gets additional imaginary dmg tick...

I got Geopard as my guaranteed 5 star from the beginner banner and at first I was really disappointed I didn't get someone else
But after like a week or two of not using him, I finally got him lvled and I have loved him ever since and aimed to get his LC when I can and I'm glad to be reassured it's a good choice because I really like his gameplay of simply being a tank with a bit of freeze for emergencies

I ended up getting insane luck as a dolphin and now have all standard characters+geppy and bailu's LCs. I was thinking of going for Bronya's sig LC, but the extra SP I'd get wouldnt be too important for my blade hypercarry team, and i'd mainly be getting it purely for the energy regen. I think I'm going to go with Welt's LC since I love Welt's character, lore, and playstyle, but this vid helped me make my decision! tysm!

Speaking of not buying them but randomly getting those cones is always good (usually BiS or one of for standard character and generally decent for every member of a path) and it's difficult to name them bad (bc at least they function as best stat stick if you don't have other 5*). Ofc they'll never offer as much as time-limited 5* cones, but they perform usually at the same power lvl as decent cones at S5 or top meta 4* cones at lower superimpositions. Even if have good options like few Post Op Conversation with Bailu's cone or Clara's cone with farmable cone from Herta's shop you'll often need multiple cones of same way for 2 teams. I have 2 5* cones from standard banner (Clara's and Bailu's), I'm using Bailu's cone on Bailu (and POC S2 on Natasha), Clara's cone is still dusting until I'll get her or will get more eidolons of Hook. Also since we know shop rotation and almost half of those characters were given for free it's not worth even more wasting currency or there're exceptions like if you don't have Tingyun or maybe there's op eidolons?

Bronya one only bumps you to a 3 turn cycle, but you are right we want a 4 turn cycle of bronya auto into skill, so it’s a waste! Maybe once an ER set comes out it could give her a 2 turn rotation, but that’s a ways off. Thank you for reminding me of this!
And same for gepard, this cone is better, but he’s the last to die anyway so I don’t think it’s really worth, just for another 30% defense and some taunt.

Gepard's def also contributes to his attack dmg and most importantly, his shield capacity. If you want a no healer team in MoC with Gepard for more dmg, I'd recommend it

Forgot to even consider how the %10 ERR on Bronyas lightcone would affect her rotations. Going to try that 3 turn ultimate just to see how insanely high the skill point consumption could be and see if it is even in the realm of manageable with like double multiplication.

Really good video, imo 30 pulls (half a pity) are more valuable right now. Getting new characters should be a priority, once I have enough characters maybe i’ll consider getting Bronya LC (and by that time these LC might not even be worth who knows).

MoV is also good for M7 - it allows her to solo sustain a team in MoC, since it also buffs her Freeze chance. With all the aggro on M7 and her E1, she’ll be spamming AOE Freezes quite easily!

absolutely going for moment of victory when i save up enough for it, that's been the plan for a while now actually.
i intend to be the #1 f2p trailblazer main on na ((definitely has nothing to do with being a traveler main in genshin nope but totally unrelated note i am pleasantly surprised by how strong the protagonist is in star rail)), so those massive stats are a MUST for her preservation version. i also managed to get something irreplaceable from standard, which ive been using whenever i have her on destruction, and it seems to be fairly solid for her.
still crossing my fingers for relic presets, tho, bc swapping sets is a PAIN and currently the BIGGEST reason i dont use the bat more often. we still have yet to get them in genshin either, so i guess we'll see.

I have yet to pull a 5* character off of the standard warp. All I've gotten are Bronya and Himeko's (rip) lightcones. I'll likely lean towards Pulls to hopefully help diversify my 5* roster since my luck is shot at the moment.

I had to spend around 250 starlight to get Jing Yuan's lightcone so I've set myself back around 2 months or so. It was definitely worth it to go for tho because it's so much better than any other erudition lc so I don't regret it. When I hit 600 I will probably go for Gepard's if I don't get it from standard before that because he's one of my favourites and his lc makes an EHR/DEF hybrid build more viable.

I'm seriously considering the Geppie LC for sheer quality-of-life. It's really annoying when he's the sole defensive unit and the enemy goes for your squishies on some turns and there's no way to heal em.

If you use Landou's choice it will give you the same aggro as his light cone, and the damage decrease is better than the def% his LC gives.

@@mattavarius5119Moment of victory makes his shield more beefier though, Landaus choice only makes himself beefier, but his ult shield allows your allies to tank more dmg with you, this is very useful against AOE attacks
@@A.Singularity If all aggro is on Gepard then ally shields don't need to be super strong, even AOE isn't going to punch through by itself. And his shield at high investment is already VERY strong, the extra defense from his signature LC isn't that much in comparison)
Isnt landau choice gave you better aggro than moment of victory? That is why some people run Landau choice rather than the 5* if they really want aggro
For Abudance i highly recommended the Perfect Timing because it has Effect RES, your healer is useless if they're CC after all

wonderful video! i got time waits for no one as a surprise pull and have it raised wayyy before i got post op conversation, so if they're that similar in numbers, i think it should be fine to keep it on natasha :')) quick question! i have we are wildfire on my fmc as of right now and both fmc and that light cone are built to a pretty high level, but i also have landau's choice. at this point, should i switch the light cone to landau's choice instead, or should i keep we are wildfire on? the healing is a nice cherry on top and the reduced damage on the first few turns for everyone is nice, but if a more permanent, though also more centered reduced damage for the wearer is better, then i'll switch the light cone. any feedback is welcome, thank you in advance!

He prefers Vow and his signature due to his low kit atk scaling , but it’s useable
My pick is currently between Bronya’s and Gepard’s. I have Bronya thankfully, but I don’t have Gepard yet. I also have Landau’s choice, but that sheer defense buff looks very tasty if I end up losing pity or normal pulling Gepard at some point. It is rather funny though as I accidentally got an E1 Clara and her light cone which is fantastic on her.

Hope they design more balanced weapons in Genshin. I enjoy both games a lot, but the guarenteed 5 star in Honkai in the beginner better surpasses the free Noelle. Also being able to get 5 star weapons from both Herta snd shop, but nothing like that in Genshin

If you already have Sushang's LC or LC from Herta, then you don't need another duplicate. It's up to you, of course, but I would just refined it
lots of options but not too many hunts you'd use, can level one up and wait with the 2nd maybe :) the buffs arent too big

Good analytical vid. The main thing about bronya for me is: what else is she gonna run if she doesnt run err for the rope? Which is why i still prefer fleet and personally see the er as juat a bonus at s4 or below for now. Btw as for 3 turn I want to mention a expected sp neutral bronya (statistically expected +0.2 ish sp per 6 turns) rotation is possible at e1s5 doing 2 skill 1 basic(not counting dps sp usage) with vonwacq + er rope. Yes it is very expensive to get but I think this is very strong considering her ult is 2 turns and she skills twice to buff the dps. Personally this is what im going to save for whether I regret it or not by then

I'd like to have gepards light cone but with his taunt trace i do think it should be good enough. Got the 4 star light cone that also reduces damage for all party members and they gonna get hit anyway so i like it.

Was thinking of getting Bronya's LC or just using for SW instead since I didn't get her. Which is a better option? I have E1 Bailu, E0 JY, E1 Himeko and E0 Sushang though I guess I can start building Dan Heng. Skipping Luocha and if I don't pull for SW, I'll be going for Kafka instead. I have 600 Starlight saved up.

No, once her banner is gone, she's gone until her banner "reruns". Whatever pity you earned on her banner just carries over to the next one getting you closer to the guarantee OF THE CURRENT LIMITED BANNER character. The standard banner does not have limited banner characters in their drop pool.

@@JamezJN007 I lost my 50 50 on Seele to Welt at guarantee and then took another 60 pulls to get the guarantee which ended on Jing Yuan as I didn't have enough jades for pulls until then, so it is frustrating having such a high cost (150+ pulls) to get a single character you want if luck doesn't go your way. The thing with Seele is you have to build her right to get the insane damage. But when you do it is crazy. I borrow her for all the echoes of war to decimate the bosses.

Idk about superimpositions, may just be best to keep copies. Can do a follow up on that one day. You can get his sig if you want it, but its not 100% needed, its just the best in raw stats

does Welt's LC buff Sampo's dot? and does the effect hit chance to skill not affect the dot since that's applied through his talent?
It does get buffed by the EHR, that’s why I said it’s good on sampo. The attack% wont buff his dots though since it doesn’t snapshot

I've been looking up Welt's LC lately coz I got it from standard pulls. I don't have Welt and would like to ask to whom I can or should use this with? I have Silverwolf, Pela and Sampo as my current Nihility Characters and planning to pull for Kafka and hoping to get some Luka as well. I really like the Nihility Path and for me it's one of the most unique and fun path for me so I'm going to focus my investments on them. Thank you in advance!
It can be used on welt, sampo, and it got a shadow buff and the dmg% now works on DoTs (subject to change) so it’s also good on Kafka

I think it is very much worth considering that Gepard E1 means the EHR on Gepard's LC becomes less valueable. Further, we are right now fairly resource starved, thus in the future the builds and investment into Gepard will improve. And with it, the value from the LC becomes less meaningful to have strong shields.
Yet 30 pulls is basically half a soft pity.
at E1, he needs 67% EHR still, so the 24% EHR is still valuable :) But yeah, it means technically less value

Still consider the Effect Res of the enemies in higher levels are higher especially bosses. Excessive EHR is still valuable otherwise even if Gepard is E1 + _freezing enemies is fun af!_
I never got a character on the standar banner (appart for the beginner banner) so now i have welt and gepard lightcone
But I got Bronya on the beginner banner so i am definitly going for bronya lightcone

I have E1 Gepard and there’s no boss that i cannot insta-freeze with my skill even at MoC 9-10. Do you still believe that Geppy signature LC is a mandatory choice to replace my S5 Day on of my new life? (Basically i only get a lil buff in flat defense and the last effect of the LC)
It still does give him more Ehr with higher defense and increased aggro value it's a straight up buff for him in that case
I like the 4* option fire Mc much more since when she's hits her/his 67% Ehr she/he can just perma taunt and guarantee herself getting focused
@@CupCop69 You don't really need more EHR if you have Geppy's E1, that's why I was wondering if the signature LC is still a "must" option compared to "Day one of my new life". (I already have another S2 "Day one" equipped with my fire MC as it's very good on him/her too)
at E1, you still need 67% EHR for gepard, so this will help towards that

I have gepard and bronya. But I think I want bronya's cone more because it helps her deal with her weakness on top of buffing her strength gepards cone just improves what he is already the best at.

Great video! I'm currently saving (already on ~450 starlights) for Clara's signature because I primary use her as cheap and easy universal damage dealer and investing in Secret Vow over lvl 60 for her would feel like a waste of resources. It's a necessity and much better than 30 pulls in this case.
This was a useful video, as I have recent got Welt and wasn't sure what to make of his lightcone. I'd seen sources suggest that GNSW was potentially better for him at the cost of having to find EHR elsewhere. Incessant Rain looks good too, though without help I'm not sure how reliable Welt can keep three debuffs up? Party can help of course. Actually it's probably not hard with the effect from the lightcone itself.
Myself, I've picked up Bronya's lightcone and Gepard's. I really wasn't sure what to make of Bailu's. I glad I didn't let it temp me. I did some rough math on the bonus damage and it seemed pretty weak, so all it really seemed to bring over Post-op was the HP at the cost of energy regen (but probably higher base stats). I really liked the idea of getting more damage out of Bailu using the cone, but it just didn't seem that consequential. And I already had S4 Quid Pro Quo and Post Op.
Kinda weird that some of the signature cones are really quite strong while the others really struggle value wise. Seems like a bit of a weak job on the balance side.
GNSW best for dmg ye, Rain new BIS and he can get the debuffs easy. But you can just chill with GNSW/ his own.
Bronya and Gepard are great ones! ^^

I'm not rolling Jing Yuan's cone for my Serval and I skipped the JY banner. The server talked me out of getting Bailu's LC and get QPQ instead, currently S5 but relics is subpar. Can definitely improve on the healing so it's not regretful. I'm technically waiting for my Bronya spook or I'll just get her after 300 rolls. Will definitely get her cone and have her be meta defining. In the mean time I don't really want the other cones. It will all go to 30 rolls soon enough.
This video may have convinced me to get the BP erudition cone for my Serval. Need to think on it more.
Serval can keep Milky or go Breakfast, BP cone is worse than them until like S3-4 on her. BP Cone iS WAY more valuable on other erudition units, cause she has 100 energy.
I pulled Gepards LC, it has been doing good work on Trailblazer. I plan to get Claras LC next because I pulled her a few days ago and i should have the starlight to get her cone when the next banner comes around. Plus I have like no other good destruction cones.

I got Gepard's light cone from an early 5* in the standard banner, and I already have all the characters from standard banner that u wanted (Welt, Bronya, Bailu, Clara). So what I'm going to do is, for the free character at 300 pulls I'll get Gepard (I rlly want him he's so pretty) and from the shop I'll get Bronya's hehe

I pulled In the Name of the World in the gacha. I have both Welt and Sampo and use them both a lot, but is it even worth leveling the cone? The main options I have to compete with it right now are Resolution (S1), Good Night Sleep Well (S1), Fermata (S2), and Loop (S5).
I also have Tutorial but I use SW so much that Welt and Sampo would almost never have it available.
It’s great on welt and sampo, only things beating it for welt would be a s5 GNSW or incessant, and for sampo a high level Eyes of the Pret

i (somehow) lost to gepard AND got his lightcone from standard and i can say that those will be my best pulls in this account for a long time. no enemy deals enough damage to get through my teams defense (unless theyre super overleveled like moc) and simulated universe becomes a piece of cake for first clears on the path of preservation. i love him and his lc!!

I probably won't purchase a light cone from the shop..but if I had to choose one, I'd say I would get clara's (Assuming I ever lose 50/50 to Clara or get her from standard), because the only real good (universal 4*) destruction light cone (from my memory) is "a sacred vow", and I will have that on blade in the future.. and I would not want to keep switching off light cones. I also really like Clara as a character, so I would want the best for her. XD
