Her mechanic adds a layer of dynamics to a turn-based game. You have to constantly calculate your odds and assessing risks based on the current situation to maximize profit.

I first started maining Qingque because she was super relatable and had the most fun gameplay. Little did I know back then that I had actually stumbled upon one of the most powerful characters in the game! 😆 Amazing guide! I will keep the "3 skill points" rule in mind in particular - that's a really good tip. I got her E5 from the shop so now I'm just waiting for that sweet, sweet E6 (will snipe for her no matter who the 5-star on the banner is lol)

One detail about the E4 buff is that if you get the buff, and then kill the wave with your ultimate, you get to keep the E4 buff for her first action for the new wave. For example in your footage right before the last wave you used your ultimate to clear the previous wave, you could've tried using your 2 skill points to get the E4, kill them with the ultimate like you did and then start the next wave with an E4 buffed attack. It's a small detail but still worth mentioning.
Yep! You can “carry over” the e4 to the next wave by clearing the current one with her ult. Very situational but you’re right it’s worth mentioning. Thank you!

this is the best guide i watched since i started playing hsr, i was looking info for qingque+bronya in paticular and this was gold! also you pronounced seele correctly thats a big plus, you got a new sub.
I started playing this game recently and Jingliu's banner was my very first event banner that I was pulling. I won my first 50/50 but lost to second one to himeko. I manage to get to e4 QQ at the very least with 50 pity into banner! Also manage to get e5 Tingyun as well as her last while pulling for Jingliu's sig lc. Lost 75/25 to welts lc on my first 10 pull but I am confident that I can get enough for Jingliu's sig lc. With Jingliu and e4 QQ, I now have two good dps that I can use! As much as I want Seele, I think I'll skip her because I already have e4 QQ. I'll save my pity for huohuo who's looking to be great abundance!
I wanted to point out: her phantom turn actually begins after the _very first time_ you use her skill. It's not just the Hidden Hand state, you can apply buffs any time after the first flip. This is because anything after the first time you press "E" is considered a bonus action. An example situation I find myself running into sometimes is where I have my ult available and fail to match 4 of a kind. I ult with Bronya _before_ QQ's ult because Hidden Hand itself is not necessary. Basically, I always ult with supports before QQ does any damage whatsoever. Overall this is a very solid guide, though. I rarely see people playing QQ correctly (especially regarding ult usage; people sitting on it as a "failsafe" blows my mind) so this has been a breath of fresh air. As a QQ main since 1.0 it makes me so happy to see other people experiencing the joy of playing the most fun unit in HSR haha
@@Doflaminguard Read my example situation again. The reason this is important information is that it allows you to get much more damage out of QQ's ult in scenarios when you're using it to complete her hand.

It might be her best LC at the moment, but it's not THAT good on her, considering it's a five star limited LC. Best to wait for a future Erudition character whose LC has more synergy with her

I can't wait to get Fu Xuan up and running, I've been saving since Luocha and while she's not guaranteed she's close to it. I'm not quite as excited for mono-quantum as I used to be but Fu Xuan looks really interesting to play, and if she's skill point positive then it'll be nice to play with a solo sustain that isn't Luocha or Gepard. I'm starting to get tired of looking at them.
Just got her to e6 after failing to get Jingliu. Planning to build her now and this guide really helps. I have Before Dawn, e1 Fu Xuan, lost to e1 Bronya and I just got lucky with my Rutilant set roll so game really wants me to main QQ now lol
yeah it depends on how you want to play her but if you're looking to maximize, you'll want to use around 3 skill points per turn into an enhanced basic - the goal isn't to go for 4 of a kind with the lowest number of rolls
I just started playing and I finally advanced the story enough to get QQ for free and immediately built her up to replace Serval, her play style is so fun considering this is a gacha game and luck is a skill. To me the best fun with QQ has been to let it auto play in most fights and watch the AI roll her tiles😂
First day qq player here. I use her because i like my character doing an aoe damage so when seele still there i avoid her like a plague. And i search for her build and stumbled upon your vids

The most value i got from Luocha banner was Qingque e6 and lost 50/50 for Bronya. Luocha is insane, but getting e6 and Bronya got me a team that i was not expecting it to be so good.
I've been playing qingque since I got her, around 3-4 days after the game came out, and I'm very excited to use her in a team with fu xuan, lynx, and silver wolf. Technically not the best team but whatever lol 😭
thanks for the "phantom turn" there, I haven't noticed it even though I abused it on her quite a lot, Qingque mains rule :') adding to your "phantom turn" thing, it's kinda univeral for dps, Idk about the other dps but Qingque, Dan Heng IL and Jingliu uses a turn at the end of it, while supports (Ruan Mei, Luocha, Asta, Huohuo..) use their turn at the start of their turn
I'm currently sitting at E5 Qingque, considering buying E6 from the shop. Just a matter of whether I get lucky with Fu Xuan or if I'll need to save that starlight for when I lose 50/50 and need them for wishes, since getting another piece of mono-quantum will be much more preferable than getting her E6 regardless of how comfy that extra skill point is.
The reason why she doesn't make buffs go down after using skill is because when she uses skill: she ends her turn and enters in something the game considers an *extra action* wich you can see that from the characters icon in the turn time line become blue, and when in an extra action characters are in the same state as when using ults so it's like it's not their turn so buffs don't go down. This what also happens with Blade and Seele, Seele extra turn is fake and it's actually an extra action and blade when he uses skill to enhance he ends his turn and enters in an extra action that's why people usually buff blade after he used skill. The main way to understand if it's an action or turn is if the character's icon is blue or not but another way is if the icon goes up in the turn time line, because extra action are shown horizontally and actual turns are vertical. Star Rail is strangely consistent on action and turns difference being Seele and the only exception of being wrong Am I playing too much QQ? I learned this just from playing her
Watching high tier Qingque is mesmerizing and really, really fun. My QQ is only E1, I'm debating spending in the shop to get her to E2 at least. I 100% intend to make my quantum gremlin team happen (QQ, SW, Lynx, Fuxuan) since... I don't have Bronya, or Luocha, or a well-invested Tingyun, or E4+ QQ, so I'll really just be relying on the gremlin memes for my damage :p Great guide! I'm a late comer to the QQ party but I love the little gacha gremlin and can't wait to see her flourish on my own account! It'll take time but it'll be worth it
@@laka1889 Yeah, I intend to get Fuxuan, who'll exhaust most of my resources at the moment... but then I'll have to hope I get very lucky in Jingliu's banner. I'm a long time Genshin player so believe me, I know the pain of rolling on a banner for a 4*. Threw 70 summons for a specific 4* and still to this day don't have them :(
Glad I pulled for Silver Wolf and Luocha. Supporting chars - especially the limited ones - are godsends to even a 4* DPS like Qingque. I don't know if this applies to other people as well, but when I changed Seele to Qingque as main DPS, the game became twice as fun. Perhaps it's the gambling playstyle that's captivating (honestly, if it wasn't for people telling me to build her because I have her at E6 and Bronya at E1, I wouldn't be having fun like I am now). Long live Qingquillionaires!
The thing with ATK boots is that if you're too slow and go last, QQ will often get full hand from allies' turns and you won't be able to use skills. That's why I prefer spd boots. I'd only use atk boots if I had Bronya.
this. allies with high enough SPD can even act more than once before QQ gets to do her first, generating more free tiles, leaving little to no room for gamba. It's why I prefer SPD boots as well, until I get Bronya.
Very good guide. I can't wait to try double dps mono quantum team (Seele, sw, qq, Fu Xuan) when Fu Xuan got released. I currently have e3 but If I got enough from wishing for Fu Xuan, I can buy e4 qq. My current build has 52/110 crit rate and damage (without Fu Xuan crit buff) but with %80 break effect somehow. She will be excellent breaker and dps with e4.

I manage to get to e4 QQ at the very least with 50 pity into banner! Also manage to get e5 Tingyun as well as her last while pulling for Jingliu's sig lc. Lost 75/25 to welts lc on my first 10 pull but I am confident that I can get enough for Jingliu's sig lc.
With Jingliu and e4 QQ, I now have two good dps that I can use! As much as I want Seele, I think I'll skip her because I already have e4 QQ. I'll save my pity for huohuo who's looking to be great abundance!

I wanted to point out: her phantom turn actually begins after the _very first time_ you use her skill. It's not just the Hidden Hand state, you can apply buffs any time after the first flip. This is because anything after the first time you press "E" is considered a bonus action. An example situation I find myself running into sometimes is where I have my ult available and fail to match 4 of a kind. I ult with Bronya _before_ QQ's ult because Hidden Hand itself is not necessary. Basically, I always ult with supports before QQ does any damage whatsoever.
Overall this is a very solid guide, though. I rarely see people playing QQ correctly (especially regarding ult usage; people sitting on it as a "failsafe" blows my mind) so this has been a breath of fresh air. As a QQ main since 1.0 it makes me so happy to see other people experiencing the joy of playing the most fun unit in HSR haha

It might be her best LC at the moment, but it's not THAT good on her, considering it's a five star limited LC. Best to wait for a future Erudition character whose LC has more synergy with her

I can't wait to get Fu Xuan up and running, I've been saving since Luocha and while she's not guaranteed she's close to it. I'm not quite as excited for mono-quantum as I used to be but Fu Xuan looks really interesting to play, and if she's skill point positive then it'll be nice to play with a solo sustain that isn't Luocha or Gepard. I'm starting to get tired of looking at them.

Just got her to e6 after failing to get Jingliu. Planning to build her now and this guide really helps. I have Before Dawn, e1 Fu Xuan, lost to e1 Bronya and I just got lucky with my Rutilant set roll so game really wants me to main QQ now lol
Being Last helps getting the 4 of a kind. You rarely use more than 2 sp
yeah it depends on how you want to play her but if you're looking to maximize, you'll want to use around 3 skill points per turn into an enhanced basic - the goal isn't to go for 4 of a kind with the lowest number of rolls
I just started playing and I finally advanced the story enough to get QQ for free and immediately built her up to replace Serval, her play style is so fun considering this is a gacha game and luck is a skill. To me the best fun with QQ has been to let it auto play in most fights and watch the AI roll her tiles😂

The most value i got from Luocha banner was Qingque e6 and lost 50/50 for Bronya. Luocha is insane, but getting e6 and Bronya got me a team that i was not expecting it to be so good.

I've been playing qingque since I got her, around 3-4 days after the game came out, and I'm very excited to use her in a team with fu xuan, lynx, and silver wolf. Technically not the best team but whatever lol 😭

adding to your "phantom turn" thing, it's kinda univeral for dps, Idk about the other dps but Qingque, Dan Heng IL and Jingliu uses a turn at the end of it, while supports (Ruan Mei, Luocha, Asta, Huohuo..) use their turn at the start of their turn

I'm currently sitting at E5 Qingque, considering buying E6 from the shop. Just a matter of whether I get lucky with Fu Xuan or if I'll need to save that starlight for when I lose 50/50 and need them for wishes, since getting another piece of mono-quantum will be much more preferable than getting her E6 regardless of how comfy that extra skill point is.

The reason why she doesn't make buffs go down after using skill is because when she uses skill: she ends her turn and enters in something the game considers an *extra action* wich you can see that from the characters icon in the turn time line become blue, and when in an extra action characters are in the same state as when using ults so it's like it's not their turn so buffs don't go down. This what also happens with Blade and Seele, Seele extra turn is fake and it's actually an extra action and blade when he uses skill to enhance he ends his turn and enters in an extra action that's why people usually buff blade after he used skill.
The main way to understand if it's an action or turn is if the character's icon is blue or not but another way is if the icon goes up in the turn time line, because extra action are shown horizontally and actual turns are vertical. Star Rail is strangely consistent on action and turns difference being Seele and the only exception of being wrong

I 100% intend to make my quantum gremlin team happen (QQ, SW, Lynx, Fuxuan) since... I don't have Bronya, or Luocha, or a well-invested Tingyun, or E4+ QQ, so I'll really just be relying on the gremlin memes for my damage :p

Glad I pulled for Silver Wolf and Luocha. Supporting chars - especially the limited ones - are godsends to even a 4* DPS like Qingque.
I don't know if this applies to other people as well, but when I changed Seele to Qingque as main DPS, the game became twice as fun. Perhaps it's the gambling playstyle that's captivating (honestly, if it wasn't for people telling me to build her because I have her at E6 and Bronya at E1, I wouldn't be having fun like I am now).

The thing with ATK boots is that if you're too slow and go last, QQ will often get full hand from allies' turns and you won't be able to use skills. That's why I prefer spd boots. I'd only use atk boots if I had Bronya.
this. allies with high enough SPD can even act more than once before QQ gets to do her first, generating more free tiles, leaving little to no room for gamba. It's why I prefer SPD boots as well, until I get Bronya.

Very good guide. I can't wait to try double dps mono quantum team (Seele, sw, qq, Fu Xuan) when Fu Xuan got released. I currently have e3 but If I got enough from wishing for Fu Xuan, I can buy e4 qq. My current build has 52/110 crit rate and damage (without Fu Xuan crit buff) but with %80 break effect somehow. She will be excellent breaker and dps with e4.
