    Yep I’m old….I remember when little Manny was just born. Now he taller than mom. So glad he’s doing well and thriving. I totally agree with giving kids respect and protecting their boundaries. I’m not an influencer so I know no one cares but I rarely post my sons as well

    Oh girl. You and I are twins. Our hair is similar and I have a 22 year old autistic son. We have done almost everything you have done. We have the Joovv light, vibe plate, Infrared sauna. We just added the castor oil pack. He sleeps with it at night. He drives his own car, goes to trade school, works and is doing really well. Manny will get there too. Blessings

    Hearing Manny with that deep voice almost made me burst into tears! 1. Because he's grown soo much! He's no more little Manny but a young man! 2. Because my son just turned 10 this summer and I know I am only a few yrs away from that change myself! 😭.
    Thank you for sharing this update!

    @Mrs.AlbaRamos this video was very different, but very special.. People see your clean beauty vlogs but sometimes we tend to forget that outside of all that you have serious situations you are taking care of. It's a different side and I'm here for it. Manny has gotten soo big and his voice sounds just like your husbands lol. Thank you for giving us a look inside of what you do and how you do it ❤

      Thank you for saying this. I am grateful for the beauty part of my channel as it’s allowed me to have my own piece of bliss and escape for a bit but also this is truly my real life and should be more highlighted because beauty is fleeting and focused on vanity. These topics are reality, life changing and truly important. In the past I tried doing more serious topics (like on marriage and parenting) and my channel took a hard hit during a time we were already struggling with bills and consistent work so I went back to the beauty stuff to be able to provide in times of need. As you can see I’m not a shopping girl who buys name brands or luxury we are are truly grateful and decide to put money into investments that help our family stay healthy and thriving. So thank you for commenting and letting me know you enjoy this content.

    I cannot thank you enough for posting this video. I've noticed that with my son it helps too when I explain to him what is going to happen for that day. (He was non-verbal, but said his first words last 3 weeks ago- at first I thought that he wouldn't understand me, but he understands everything.) It has been the loneliest and hardest journey for me and somehow this video made me feel so encouraged. I appreciate that your content has grown as you have grown. I've watched you from waaay back for tips on hair and makeup, but I've stuck around because even as an adult I can relate to so many things you post because your content has matured with you. Blessings and goodness for you and your beautiful family.

    • @TReneeJ
      @TReneeJ Год назад

      Hi. Can you explain what you mean when you say your son is “very obedient?” I heard Alba say this too and I am curious as to what this means. Can you give an example?

    • @Dreapal81
      @Dreapal81 Год назад +3

      @TReneeJ No problem! Basically he always wants to be compliant even if it is a detriment to him. For example, when he was smaller, he would always let children cut in front of him for the slide at the park instead of standing up for himself. Now at 12, for him it has transitioned into saying "I'm sorry" alot. For example, he might ask to go to get ice cream and I will say, hey we don't have time for that but maybe we can do it tomorrow and he will say "I'm sorry instead of OK. Does that make sense? He just never wants to ruffle any feathers or be confrontational even if it is to the disadvantage of himself. I have to work really hard to encourage him to advocate for himself and his rights and that he doesn't have to be sorry for that. That could be really harmful because someone could take advantage of him because he is so compliant.

    • @TReneeJ
      @TReneeJ Год назад

      @@Dreapal81 Oh wow! Thank you kindly for the clarification. Geez, this world is so cruel so I can see how you can be worried about him with the advocating for himself. But on the other hand it warms my heart because his actions just sound so pure and innocent, ya know? Ugh. I pray that he learns to stand up for himself though. Thank you again for sharing.

My child was diagnosed in 2022, a very sad day for me but now I have to navigate thru this. I'm grateful my son has improved so much. I can go on forever, but when you said " he can be too obedient or loving" really explains so much in my child. I'm overprotective but do not coddle or enable my son. Thank God he has my independence & strength. I never saw these therapies, but my son is sensory sensitive & some of these won't work. But I'm interested in this red light therapy 🙏🏼 so grateful for your information. Autistic children require so much, and i get exhausted, it's just us no help from his dad. I pray over him & he does Speech still & ABA now. Autistic children, are irreplaceable to the max! God bless & keep we parent's strong for our special babies! ❤🙏🏼💙🧩

    Wow! To see your son as a young man! Great to see him develop. I’m not telling you something you don’t know but autism is a spectrum…place. My son is 24 and has it. We attended a church where another member’s son had it. Completely two different individuals. My son works a part time job and quite honestly I wouldn’t have him do much more. He loves video games and it has always been his thing. Coworkers tried their hardest to get me to get my son interested in software development. I knew that was not his thing, especially being in a busy and noisy office. As with everything, you need to understand your child, their needs, wants and personality. Quite honestly, it brings tears to my eyes thinking about our sons in this world. I think overall they will be fine but at least in my son’s situation, we don’t take him shopping or out very much. He HATES it. He will be accommodating when we insist he go, but you can literally see him shutting down and avoiding proximity with others. We let him do as he wishes with a little nudge to be sociable when family comes over. Again, it’s a spectrum of behavior and characteristics.

    The Bemer is said to be an excellent device for blood flow .. I’ve used it several times at this wholistic place I’ve stayed in. No one ever talks about it. Glad to see you using it. Now I’m thinking about investing in one. It must be used regularly though.
