Yep I’m old….I remember when little Manny was just born. Now he taller than mom. So glad he’s doing well and thriving. I totally agree with giving kids respect and protecting their boundaries. I’m not an influencer so I know no one cares but I rarely post my sons as well
Hearing Manny with that deep voice almost made me burst into tears! 1. Because he's grown soo much! He's no more little Manny but a young man! 2. Because my son just turned 10 this summer and I know I am only a few yrs away from that change myself! 😭. Thank you for sharing this update!
Seriously it feels like that deep voice came in overnight. At 8,9,10,11, and even 12 he still sounded like a little boy I think 13 was the age where his voice got deeper. It’s almost as deep as my husbands 🤦🏽♀️
I work with Autistic children and I absolutely commend the active parents who love and grow their children into being independent with autism. I know it’s not easy and some days can be difficult. Kudos to you and your family ❤
I started following you around the same time your son was diagnosed. My son ended up getting an autism diagnosis at the age of four and he will be 13 soon. I have never heard of any of these therapies before. Could you please make a more in-depth video of Manny’s various therapy options. I am so glad to hear that he’s doing so well.
This touched my heart. Thank you so much for sharing. I have a 5 year old grandson with Autism, so I understand about the innocence/discipline factor. You’re family is beautifully and wonderfully made ❤
time truly flies! He is so tall the way you were looking up at him 🥹 this video reminded me of how we parents truly will love mountains to get the best for our kids. ❤❤
I cannot thank you enough for posting this video. I've noticed that with my son it helps too when I explain to him what is going to happen for that day. (He was non-verbal, but said his first words last 3 weeks ago- at first I thought that he wouldn't understand me, but he understands everything.) It has been the loneliest and hardest journey for me and somehow this video made me feel so encouraged. I appreciate that your content has grown as you have grown. I've watched you from waaay back for tips on hair and makeup, but I've stuck around because even as an adult I can relate to so many things you post because your content has matured with you. Blessings and goodness for you and your beautiful family.
Your dedication to your son and your the character you have shown in parenting is honestly admirable. You are beyond beautiful on the outside but your inside is breathtakingly inspiring. Lots of ❤ health and happiness to you and your loved ones. All the blessings to y’all and the young gentleman Many.
Alba, thank you for sharing this intimate video with us! I’ve been watching you since you made your straight hair videos with the room divider!! I’ve looked up to since I was about your sons age, & adopted a lot of your habits. I now have a baby of my own & you inspire me as a mother, love you guys 🫶🏽💗
Wow that you for that sweet comment. I appreciate you. Also know that I have struggled so much as a mother and wife and I’m no where near the kind of mother I hope to be. I’m still learning and constantly unlearning what I thought I once knew. I am no teacher but merely a messenger with God in mind.
Yayyy I'm so happy you decided to talk about your son. As a mom of a boy with autism, it feels great to hear other peoples experiences and knowledge. I'm am so grateful you shared all this info and am definitely going to look into some of these devices. You are an amazing mom! Thank you 🙏🏼🙏🏼💙
I love how relentless you all are in supporting your children 😍🥰 I remember when you shared how the doctor said Manny would be nonverbal and here he is talking!
It’s crazy, I was just watching your first about that life video back when you were in California and now you post this video, you guys are so inspiring as parents, God has blessed little Many with such amazing caring parents ❤❤❤
@Mrs.AlbaRamos this video was very different, but very special.. People see your clean beauty vlogs but sometimes we tend to forget that outside of all that you have serious situations you are taking care of. It's a different side and I'm here for it. Manny has gotten soo big and his voice sounds just like your husbands lol. Thank you for giving us a look inside of what you do and how you do it ❤
Thank you for saying this. I am grateful for the beauty part of my channel as it’s allowed me to have my own piece of bliss and escape for a bit but also this is truly my real life and should be more highlighted because beauty is fleeting and focused on vanity. These topics are reality, life changing and truly important. In the past I tried doing more serious topics (like on marriage and parenting) and my channel took a hard hit during a time we were already struggling with bills and consistent work so I went back to the beauty stuff to be able to provide in times of need. As you can see I’m not a shopping girl who buys name brands or luxury we are are truly grateful and decide to put money into investments that help our family stay healthy and thriving. So thank you for commenting and letting me know you enjoy this content.
Oh girl. You and I are twins. Our hair is similar and I have a 22 year old autistic son. We have done almost everything you have done. We have the Joovv light, vibe plate, Infrared sauna. We just added the castor oil pack. He sleeps with it at night. He drives his own car, goes to trade school, works and is doing really well. Manny will get there too. Blessings
I like your content nowadays, so refreshing. You and your husband and so smart and have so much knowledge to share. It is wonderful that you are thoughtful enough to give tips different ways you can support a child with autism because many parents need that support.
I'm so thrilled seeing content about your son..I was always dreaming you will talk more about his development and how you help him .. my son was diagnosed at the age of 2 and I really love your view on therapy etc I'm following similar path ..sending love from UK
When I heard Manny speak I literally started tearing! ❤ this video was beautiful. He is so big now, I’ve been following for years! Y’all are doing an amazing job
I love the you communicate with him 😍 I was told that I have some autism characteristics because of the way I do / organize things so communication and rutine is very deep for me. God bless your beautiful family 🤗🤗
My son is also very obedient, and it is beautiful and scary at the same time. I am so glad to see Manny! My son was diagnosed at 2 and I have been watching you on this journey and learning with you as well! He is a young man now, its unbelievable! Wishing you and the family continued peace and prosperity.❤
Hi. Can you explain what you mean when you say your son is “very obedient?” I heard Alba say this too and I am curious as to what this means. Can you give an example?
@TReneeJ No problem! Basically he always wants to be compliant even if it is a detriment to him. For example, when he was smaller, he would always let children cut in front of him for the slide at the park instead of standing up for himself. Now at 12, for him it has transitioned into saying "I'm sorry" alot. For example, he might ask to go to get ice cream and I will say, hey we don't have time for that but maybe we can do it tomorrow and he will say "I'm sorry instead of OK. Does that make sense? He just never wants to ruffle any feathers or be confrontational even if it is to the disadvantage of himself. I have to work really hard to encourage him to advocate for himself and his rights and that he doesn't have to be sorry for that. That could be really harmful because someone could take advantage of him because he is so compliant.
@@Dreapal81 Oh wow! Thank you kindly for the clarification. Geez, this world is so cruel so I can see how you can be worried about him with the advocating for himself. But on the other hand it warms my heart because his actions just sound so pure and innocent, ya know? Ugh. I pray that he learns to stand up for himself though. Thank you again for sharing.
I'm really glad you made this veideo, because your heloing so mny poeple, who didnt know about all tehses things, and plobabbly people who really need them thank you!
And college is not impossible. You have done such a great job with Manny. I'm graduating in December with my masters in special education and adapted curriculum.
This video instantly warms my heart I think ppl forget you HAVE to respect your children as well and have patience with your children🥰🥰❤️❤️I loved this video thanks for sharing
Thanks for making this video. I love learning about other families that have this experience. I am an occupational therapist and I have a brother and son with autism. I relate well with your story. I also appreciate and respect you and your husband for protecting your children. My husband and I don't post our children's faces on social media. We want them to have privacy for as long as possible. Keep shining your light on the world!
When I heard him speak I was shook I remember little baby manny before your daughter was born , I know you’re so protective of ur family (rightfully) but it’s amazing watching y’all grow and prosper ♥️
Tengo muchos muchos años siendo tu fan aquí todavía no te habías casado ni tenía a los niños, pero nunca comentaba aunque veía tus videos y le daba su like jajaja Has madurado y has crecido tanto en todos los aspectos y facetas wow! Im so glad you let us into your life with Manny! I have an autistic son as well and it’s so nice to hear from another parents perspective, especially one who I’ve been watching over the years!
ABSOLUTELY LOVE ALL, and I mean ALL of your videos!! Especially this one! Sending prayers and blessings to your family!!!!! You are a beautiful human Mrs. Ramos, inside and out!!!!
Thank you for this video Alba! I remember first watching a video you had discussed with us about an EMF necklace you had gotten him. I remember not knowing anything about AS . Years later I worked as a behavior technician for almost a year and in that same year my mom found out my two year old brother was diagnosed with Autism. Luckily I knew through my job and videos like yours what it was and helped her understand in depth what it was. I love that you posted again what your routine is with him. I’ll definitely share this with her !
Wow it only shows more and more how prevalent autism has been (which I already knew) but as I read through these comments it validates that even more. I didn’t know anyone with autism or anyone with an autistic child before having manny so this was all new to me upon having him as my son. I had to unlearn and learn a lot. I’m still unlearning and learning today.
Thank you for this information. My daughter is 23 with Autism. I've never heard of any of these things. I'm in to holistic healing real tough now and want both of us to try them! Bless you Love! 🙏🏾💕✨💯
Thank you SO much Alba and family for the video! The reason why I subscribed years ago. I also have a son with autism who is now 17! 😮❤ Will look into the things y’all are into. Very informative and interesting ! Gracias ☺️ 🙏🏽
Glad I found your channel, I too am an Autism mother my son is 17 now!!! I love my son he is the best what a journey I would not have it any other way!!! Many blessing to you and you family
Thank you for sharing this intimate look inside your life with Manny ..I remember when you were living up north long before your daughter was born and you were using the Sonrise program...my son is 25 with severe Autism..some days are better than others..I'm so glad he has you for a mama..💙
I loved this video. I am a mother of three, who are on the autism spectrum. I enjoy all of your content, this one really warmed my heart and gave me some good information as well. God bless you and your beautiful family.
Thank you so much for letting us be a part of this. I definitely enjoyed the video and also would like to let you know that you are and your husband are amazing parents!! Sending you all love and hugs !!
This was such a joy to watch, Thank you so much for sharing this with us. My nephew is on the spectrum and it’s an everyday learning experience which is teaching me patience. So much respect to you and your husband!
Thank you for sharing! My son is austic and I will definitely give some of the things you mentioned a try. And complete understand not wanting post your children.
Love this video we to have a son on the spectrum and practice anything that’s going to help him holistic. Enjoy this video so much keep me an awesome parents.
Thank you for sharing your personal experience and life. I have a son who has autism too. I did see a few products I'm interested in using with my own son. I will be doing extra research and see which will be the best fit. Thanks again. God bless!🙏💜🙂
Hi Alba, you’re such a good mom! Manny is soo tall, he’s bigger than you now, lol. Tfs this update and educating us about the different therapy Manny uses. ❤ Many blessings to you and your family. 🙏🏾
I really enjoyed watching your video and how you flow with your son. Of my 4 kids, my special needs guy is 17. Non-exploitative special needs content is rare and highly valuable. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you sharing such an intimate part of your life. I’m a homeschool mom with different style learners and always looking for new & different techniques.
I do not have any relatives with autism but a lot of my friends children have it and it is so informative to see videos like this to not only empathize with my friends and their children but to also learn how to navigate the way we speak to them and act around them I loved this video please keep sharing as your can while also protecting your privacy and boundaries xoxo 💋 from a fellow Dominican
I loved this video. You and your husband put in so much love and effort into your family and it shows. It was so good to hear Manny. I worked with children with autism and yes that purity is so radiant. There are memories with each child I worked with that I will always carry with me. I enjoyed learning about the various tools and methods you all use. I look forward to seeing what sauna your family chooses if you decide to share it in a video. I’m a big fan of my infrared lamp which has been such a great resource for several reasons. Blessings to you and your family. 🕊️
Oh my goodness Alba ! He sound just like Manny lol. May God keep blessing you and your family. Lil manny is so grown. I can’t believe how time passes quickly. You have always been my favorite person on RUclips and ig ❤. I appreciate you sharing your life with us.
It’s been a long time since I e seen a video. I remember when he was bore and when he was diagnosed. I have a son with autism he is now 24. All your at home therapies are amazing! Thank you for sharing this day with us.
The Bemer is said to be an excellent device for blood flow .. I’ve used it several times at this wholistic place I’ve stayed in. No one ever talks about it. Glad to see you using it. Now I’m thinking about investing in one. It must be used regularly though.
I absolutely love your new hair products! Safe to say they are going to be my go-to products from now on!🙂I am also loving the new type of content. So refreshing and informative!
Love you vulnerability! I have a 14 year old as well. I swear I started watching you a little before I had her. Maybe a year prior. Sending love to you and your family💛💛
I loooove the video Alba!!! I really appreaciate all the information that you and Manny share. It helps me a lot. Thank you as well for uploading!!! MUCH LOVEE!! xxx
I love the vibration plate. I use mine every day have your son loosen his knees a little while he’s on the plate you shouldn’t stand so firm because it will shake the brain too much love the video.😊

Same! I was shocked by his voice. 😂😭 Can't believe he's taller than Alba.
Right now he’s taller than his mommy
same! I saw the thumbnail and I was like wow!
Same here….. have been suscribed since 2016 I believe, well the year they moved to California for Manny’s health. Time flies, God bless them 🙏🏽❤️.
Omg yesss. 🥰
Hearing Manny with that deep voice almost made me burst into tears! 1. Because he's grown soo much! He's no more little Manny but a young man! 2. Because my son just turned 10 this summer and I know I am only a few yrs away from that change myself! 😭.
Thank you for sharing this update!
Right? I was like where did that voice come from!😂

Is there ever a reason behind diagnosis or do the doctors just never know
Manny is so blessed to have you two as his parents
I really like that you keep him informed. I think that’s important for all children, especially the little ones.
Sooo happy you both decided to upload this video! This will help so many parents on their parenting journey through the spectrum❤❤❤
This touched my heart. Thank you so much for sharing. I have a 5 year old grandson with Autism, so I understand about the innocence/discipline factor. You’re family is beautifully and wonderfully made ❤

Just bought the deep conditioner & the leave in / curl cream to try.

The Bemer is said to be an excellent device for blood flow .. I’ve used it several times at this wholistic place I’ve stayed in. No one ever talks about it. Glad to see you using it. Now I’m thinking about investing in one. It must be used regularly though.
