How many PJ fans bought a uke to learn this you think? If I recall correctly my wife (not at the time) bought me my uke for our first anniversary oh so long ago just for this tune.
Subscriber and patron request: I really like how you use guitar chords to teach the ukulele chords. Have you ever put together a sheet or graph? Or a do you have a RUclips video explaining uke to guitar players? 👍😁🙏
Hey thanks FFG - I believe I'm using a concert tenor... but I don't know all that much about ukuleles. I have a smaller one and wasn't all that too pleased with the size so I thought I'd get a bigger one. All of $100 and I'm very happy with it! It's a Penguin brand. never heard of it but that's what they had at the shoppe in morgantown

Dumb question time... so ... when we tune the UKE down a half step... are the chords the same? yikes...clearly I don't know what I"m doing... I have a Uke Chord chart...but it says its for GCEA.... so... for Fm it looks different then what you are saying at 6mins... is that because it's tuned different? or is it the same as my chart that says..... 1st string 4th fret.... 2nd string 1st fret and 4th string 1st fret... ? I wish I started when I was a kid...can my brain learn this lol??
I think I recall mis-speaking in that video, and it might be the moment you are talking about :) the chords stay the same, as everything is tuned the same relative to everything else... so when you play a C you're REALLY playing a B, but you don't need to keep that in mind :)

Found this one hard to listen to and watch.hes is just too distracted by himself that he doesn't fore see production issues like sun position etc. We, the viewer don't need all that fore play stuff of his self talk. If he would just get straight to it then it may not be marked.

Hi Brynne! The ukulele is the same as a guitar with the capo on the 5th fret and without the two fattest strings :)
What size uke are you using? And would you recommend it? It sounds great. Awesome lesson.
