Yea, I thought they just changed the color of the yellow one. I'm actually headed there now to pick some of the blue ones up to test out! I heard those are actually good batteries.

The regular 212 is plenty for the kids but that engine is pretty sweet!
Nice video, but I found it interesting that you dissed the blue batteries. The orange(ish) ones are only pretty good, and the yellow ones (not even alkaline) are pretty horrible, but I’ve found that the blue ones work well and last a while, and most other reviewers and RUclipsrs I’ve heard say the same. You’ve had bad experiences with, or heard bad things about them?

I'm actually headed there now to pick some up. I may have misspoken about those batteries. I've only tried the yellow ones. Ever since that first experience I never even looked into them. I thought they were all the same and just changed the color! Stay tuned for my test results!

Anyway, clearly the blue ones WAY outlasted the yellow ones, but how did they fare compared to the Duracell? (That latest video ended before you could show those results.) Inquiring minds want to know!!! 🤣
@@timsawyer7443 Yep, you were part of the reason, thanks! I need to do another test with the blue and duracell. I left them on over night and both were very dim, couldn't really tell the difference. Should have put a time-lapse video on them.
@-DIYPRO- so, if they were that close in quality (though yes, a more thorough testing would be interesting and illuminating - pun partially intended 😁), then it might come down to which ends up being less expensive - normally, and then at their best sale prices. That would also be interesting! I think that sometimes we assume that HFT wins the price prize every time, but that's not always the case!
