That deadlift Jack hack is the number one bro hack of all time. So simple yet so effective
But.... you're omni-man with no hair....
Did you really need a deadlift jack?
Once you've pulled all the the plates off the first side just lift that end of the bar up vertically so the plates9n the other end fall into a pile, then lift the bar out.
The small plate to jack the deadlift bar is my favourite
Deadlift jack? Get plates with slightly different diameter. Put the largest on first, then you can put the rest on without even moving the bar.
I have a pair of 55 pound bumper plates that go on first, then just use plain 45's etc for the rest (I'm not pulling 500+ pounds though so that might not be good, but I figure if you're there you probably have a deadlift jack.) Can confirm this is a good alternative.
I, too, bring my pair of slightly different diameter plates with me to the gym on deadlift days
@@leerussell451 i roll my wagon wheels into the gym then stand on a deficit block to make it normal height

The thing I like most about using bands on the J hooks for pull ups is that you can adjust the resistance by moving the hooks up and down which you can’t do if you put it over the bar at the top.
That 5 lb plate hack is for the boys! Found that in college and it saved so much time.
Awesome advice. Have been using the small weight plate under the weight plates on deadlifts for a long time, but the sissy squat with a band around the rack column is a new one. 👍🏼
Good tips, you can also use a belt instead of a small weight as a deadlift Jack.
It never gets old 😂
Great tips. I use the bands on the bench all the time. I notice that everyone else in the gym does the same now - that's how you know it's a good tip :)
Sam has added a cup to his gym bag
Great info to have. Thanks guys.
Thanks a lot. Again some priceless gems. I´ll take all of `em.
Thank you bro you legend this is gold 💪🏻
I seriously considered joining instagram for that banded pull up video alone! Way to go in engaging your audience! (also great tips)
Great tips there! Much appreciated I will be implementing a few of them straight away!
Thanks Sam, Thanks Dave
Great tips!
Didnt know about the pull-up band tip going to try tomorrow.
Thanks
I finally have a use for the strong band I bought last year!
Amazing content. While powerlifting in my garage gym, I appreciate learning small things and tricks to add to the "lonely layer."
Love the content and really appreciate Sam's videos. Big thumbs up and thanks EliteFTS ! :)
Great one!!!
Really great advice and tips. Love u guys.
This is gold. Thanks for the tips, you legend!
Had seen these on insta already, so now I'm twice as smart I guess! 👍🏻
Pull-ups assisted by a band across the J-cups are great. The load can be progressed by lowering the band over time, so it gives less help. I progress through 2 or 3 strengths of bands in my warm-up for unassisted bodyweight chin-ups. It's like starting with just the bar and adding some weight for each warm up set.
Awesome!
Awesome tips. Keep it up
Great useful video 👍🏻
Thanks for the tips! For sissy squats, I use an old safety squat strap from Spud Inc. in a similar way you used the mammoth band. Since I got an actual SSB bar, that strap has essentially become my sissy squat strap, lol
LOVE that sissy squat using a heavy band, that's brilliant!
Awesome as always, Sam, however I’m here to offer a kudos & fist bump for the Vince Vaughn reference. 🤜🏼🤛🏼
Thanks for making our children safe
this shit is golden. I appreciate that. Thank you Sam!!!
Great vid.
Very nice
I'm going to have to get a pair of those bands (or maybe one of those nice benches if I have enough luck with the wife,) I have a horrible time getting my shoulders dug in on my current bench.
Ask the wife which is cheaper, a new bench or rotator cuff surgery?
@@MasoNowa haha, we're towards the end of a project effectively doubling the size of our house, the $800 for the Deluxe Competition Flat Bench might not even be noticeable (that's not a bad price at all either, unless it's a typo missing a 1 at the front.)
Off topic: are you able to disassemble the elitefts scholastic chest supported row? Or do you need a truck to be able to transport it .
Dude...didnt catch your name..but this vid just sold me 2 elitefts orange light bands and 1 Monster Band...just ordered...Thanks man!
His name is Sam Brown, and thank you for your support!
@@eliteftsofficial Well Sam is the Man! haha and YES 2 orange light bands and the Gray Monster WooHoo!
Tips for a sliding bench - anti slip stuff you out under carpets
The deadlift Jack I found the best was that my dumper plates are a little bigger that the iron ones so always using one first means I never need the Jack
Should not mix bumper plates and iron plates, especially when the one bumper plate is larger and supporting all the weight. You will ruin the bumper plate that way.
Good stuff. appeals to the meatheads. keep it coming. you could even re-fresh some of the old stuff
how to box skwat
how bench

Mine try number 4
The all black bands coming back anytime soon???
What’s the amount (pounds) of tension when you add mini’s?
You can find the chart of approximate tensions here www.elitefts.com/catalog/product/view/id/409/s/eliteftstm-pro-mini-resistance-band/category/153/
@@eliteftsofficial thanks!
i put the band on bench horizontally, just under where shoulder blades would be to be honest
My future children wants to say thanks 🙏
You can also use the end of your weight lifting belt as a poor man's deadlift jack
#1 tip in my experience: don't buy bumpers, buy machined plates unless you weightlift
That and Strongman. I got a set of 45 and 25 pound bumpers last year, and planned to get more and realized that's all I needed. Log press is actually the reason I got the 25 pound bumpers entirely. The 45 lb bumpers are also coming in handy now that I recently got cambered bar. The Cambered Bar could be used in my rack, but I found I have to take the safety pins completely out to get to depth so it makes more sense to do a cambered bar squat in the open area in front of my rack. Keep adding regular iron 25 plates for increased weight, and the peace of mind that if I need to drop the weight on the floor I can.
@@GutsBatman my 25lb normal plates are the exact diameter of my log, and I drop it on tires anyway so im not too worried about it. with 2 pairs of 25s and all my changes plates + the 86lb bar, I could get to 231lbs on the log, so.....I'm set for a while
My future children are now safe !
This video is the opposite spectrum of the "washed up meathead" advice. This is more "If you skipped lifting I'm highschool" both are crucial
i have a tip for you actually mr. elitefts. don't wear a lav mic if you're going to be breathing like that for the whole video
This guy is ok
Nothing new here. Been doing these for years.
Thanks for the tips, man, but you should really introduce yourself on each video. I just know you as "that ginger kid" right now and would like to know your name. Thanks again.
Ive have tried multiple times but for some reason cant stand watching any videos this dude is in. Idk why...
Great useful video 👍🏻
