Can you guys get Wilson to re release some of their classic mid size Pro Staff frames. Like the six one 95 classic. I know they've already got the 85 (I have two of these), but a slightly bigger racquet would be cool. Head is already doing this with their Prestige and PT models. I think it would make a nice change from the multitude of 98 to 100 sqi racquets out there. And it would be a hit with old timers like me (there are a lot of us out there).
Check out some of these racquets from the Wilson Pro labs. The Ultra Pro is a 97 and comes in two string patterns. There is also the Six One 95 in the 18x20 pattern. www.tennis-warehouse.com/Wilson_Pro_Lab_Racquets/catpage-WILPROLAB.html. Troy, TW
I agree, I am a college tennis player looking for a smaller frame, like a 90 in headsize to compensate for a switch from an 85. is there going to be a reissue of the wilson pro staff 85?
@@tenniswarehouse I have the Ultra Pro V3. Even though it's a 16x19, the pattern is very tight, with all the strings bunched up in the middle. So it has a boardy feel similar to a Prestige. I think the open pattern of the Pro Staff line is a big part of what gives them such great feel. And of course the current 6.1 has a 18x20 pattern. Beats me why they keep putting tight string patterns in smaller frames. Anyway, a re release of Classic Pro Staff frames could be a winner for Wilson. Older players like me would snap these up, even if we're no longer able to handle them. And it would make a nice change from Wilson's current cluttered line up. Does the world really need another 98-100sqi racquet?
Chris, when have you ever not liked a racquet for your slice backhand? It seems like you say that for every review. Maybe you just have a good feel for the slice and the racquet doesn’t matter?
