i love their bond and those characters. Since the moment Silco wrapped his arms around jinx in episode 3 I've been rooting for jinx and Silco, no one else. They really did such a good job making arcane, I'm so amazed. this edit gave me so many of the same feels I felt watching the series, it's really good, thank you! <3
What I love about Arcane is the amazing characterization as every character isn't perfect, nor are they just evil for the sake of being evil. Silco is a complex character with gray morals. He wished for Zaun to flourish and to be truly seen, as the people are suffering, while the upper city is turning a blind eye and selfishly enjoying their luxuries without consideration of the tormented souls living bellow. Silco wanted justice, but went about it the wrong way and caused havoc, blinded as well by his own hatred for those who wronged him. He took in Jinx because he saw her as a mirror of himself and Zaun as a whole, broken and imperfect, and he embraced her for the way she is, unlike Vi who kept trying to change her despite the fact that it was her own act to turn away from her sister (she did sadly try to come back, but well..) that made her the way she is, apart from many other factors that twisted Jinx's mind, such as her own guilt for what she had done trying to "save" her loved ones.
I hope and pray that Singed brings back Silco and Jinx can finally be happy. Or he returns somehow with or without shimmer, in the flesh and not just in memory.
Silco and Jinx we're just both products of their environment. I consider Silco a GOOD FATHER FOR JUST THAT. He had no tools, no guidance to take her in BUT. HE. DID. After all that a life of being a underground dwelling less fortunate individual HE HAD SOMETHING MOST OF THOSE HE DEALT WITH DIDN'T. Seeing Powder in that state of absolute longing, being abandoned when she was just trying to SAVE her sister. She revived his empathy, he nurtured her for bringing back something he thought was entirely lost.

People keep calling Silco a Villian. Not sure I would discribed him that way. Antagonist certainly. But Villian?
I knew that Vi and Jinx were sort of the next generation for Vander and Silco.
