Suggestion for your mounting points. You could make up some spacers (plastic or aluminium rod cut into discs etc) and cut them into the foam core before doing the layup. That way when you tighten down the hardware you cant crush the foam core
Nice work there!your thickness allows to you to make a 3-4mm reccess for the nut on the underside.put a little cf fabric underneath the nut to protect the core material and bond it in place..then sand the bond material flat. Cheers
The hardware you guys used in this is AWESOME and gives me so many ideas for when i do my own things to my car. Really appreciate you showing these finer details Can you link the hardware?
I have a front splitter to go on my car.Was looking at the hardware you were using to attach it.Would you have a link to where you bought them.Cheers Mat.
To be honest I think they are hard to come by on eBay I do remember tim telling me that and that he stocks up whenever he sees them. Trying to see if we can get enough and just sell ourselves for everyone else.
It’s called a fruit as it’s a front boot.. another great video.. I’m missing the episodes on the Z though, I absolutely love that car and your passion.!
If Tim made canards for 5th gen ZL1 camaros and rear diffusers that are actually functional as opposed to the very few that are on the market. He would make a killing! People are asking for them all the time for the guys who track their cars.
Great work as always!! Shame it doesn’t stick out the same as the canards, should maybe talk him into getting another one made solely for track seeing as its a quick swap 🤷🏼♂️

Yes indeed. Plenty of updates coming soon now that all the side jobs are finished.
Nice. Should of out patches of Kevlar over the bottom side of the mounting bolts, for scrapping. Good job though.

Where can I get those bonded fasteners or what is the proper name for them so I can buy some, awesome carbon work as always!!
To be honest I think tim has a hard time finding them himself. I remember him saying whenever they pop up on eBay he stocks up lol.
Hi got a question. Why did you let so much material overlapping from the splitter? Do you use the cut away for panels or is it "trash"?
In the first video tim mentioned using the extra material for a splash shield, super baller 😂
@@StreetBandito haha nice. Didn't recognised it thanks
Great vids
LIGHTWEIGHT BABY
Need a full carbon 72 Datsun 521 pickup to sit with the 240. Or better yet to haul that 240.
That will also require a carbon decked out trailer.
Lol that would be the most baller thing to do, sign me up!
The tow hook looks like a dopey little tongue...
Love the work you guys do!!

He did at the end of everything. We didn’t get a chance to get footage before the owner picked it up
