I’ve been dealing with gut microbiome challenges too since 2019.
GAPS diet has helped! (It incorporates a lot of bone broth, organ meats, fermented foods, and eliminates grains, starchy vegetables like potatoes etc. and all refined sugar.) Time consuming but worth it. Hope you feel better Lisa!

I really enjoyed that story about the dog and toy mouse. Just shows the importance of communicating with your partner and the importance of not getting angry or freak out on your partner if it's a "false alarm." Not a lot of people would react that way. These two are such goals!

What about when you have a long term relationship, but still live apart, and have children from past relationship. Is it wrong that I struggle to make the relationship my priority? I make time, but it never seems to be enough.

My partner is sensitive to noise, light or movement when it comes to sleep. He expressed his desire to sleep apart when we will finally move in together.... Although I understand his arguments and his sleep needs, especially that I really see a big difference in his mood when he sleeps well, I cannot help but feeling lonely, unloved and sad when I think about this. How to compromise in this situation so nobody end up being frustrated ?

I dated someone who snored terribly. Most nights he would tucked me in and lay with me for a while or if I fell asleep and eventually go to the other room to sleep. Or alternatively wake him up in the morning by crawling into bed with him. It's not ideal of course but it's I'd try to put yourself in his shoes when you are struggling and think about how hard it is to function when you haven't slept. I hope you work it out.

I like that you both have knowledge in relationship building, however sometimes your stories are so personal it comes off as "let's talk about our relationship in business" versus "let's talk about our relationship." Moreover, I hear all these really important nuggets like "if your at the verbal spat that's not good and if you don't know why you started arguing in the first place then that's really not good" - This is more general, accessible, and adaptable to a broader audience that might be looking for building communication around relationships that don't center business.

I think they are a great couple with great advice. But I can't help like feeling that Tom brings Lisa down a bit by keeping bringing up her health issues and how they are an inconvenience for him. Maybe it seems like this because myself have a health issue and that's how I would feel if it was brought up like this...

So this is SPECIFICALLY FOR 2 people relationships with the only goal of self love
Relationships are NOT JUST 2 PPL and you rarely talk about family. My family plays more a role on my relationship than I do. And same on her. Her brother could take a lot of time from her to deal with his shit. Or we gotta schedule kid meet ups.
My relationship problem is that we don't have time for each other, and that greed for time drives a lot of our behaviour. It burns a type of pain that I can distract myself with time based activities OR I have to realize my son is another year older, I can't put "this" task off

Well they don't have children, but the tools are the same. You have to set your own boundaries with family and not allow them to take time away from your priority. But that is something that you all have to do together Nmand agree on or everyone else will continue to take advantage of you.
