Bullet proof motor when combined with cheap chinese 1500 w ebike controller. Been using mine to race e-karts (search for Hacky Racers) for 2 yrs now. Drilled out the cooling holes to 10mm and drilled a hole in the side of the casing for the cables to come out of the side rather than the end, that leaves the end plate clear for mounting a large pc fan. Fitted a temp sensor inside so I can monitor the temp with arduino for display and to switch the fan on and off, or in the future attenuate the throttle signal if the motor gets too hot during a race.
ну и как нагревается после переделок под нагрузкой.Я такой купил но он греется продавец говорит что 80гр это нормально а я думаю что зря его купил технологически он не доведён до ума
I have 3 of these motors, same brand, rated at 72V. Have drilled the end plates on all of them. None of them have fans so I was pretty surprised to see this one... nonetheless they have been 100% dependable and good performers running on 20s but they get a little hot on hot days. I rarely do bursts of more than 10 seconds WOT, and 25H chain to a freewheel is a good setup.
I got the same on a mini baja and my phase wire get really hot.. any possibility to change these wire's for a bigger phase wire ? Thanks for your video my friend!
I been thinking about building a Ecycle, or escooter, but don't think a2kw motor would be enough, even 3kw , I'm thinking around 5-6kw, and 60v at least, I'm thinking about making it a hybrid, it would be awesome if they had these with a metal gear reduction, I think I'd epoxy the magnets. And the windings! Maybe thin the epoxy, at least get it good and hot, dip it and vacuum chamber it to pull epoxy in all the cracks, , then pour the remaining on the windings, maybe a2-3kw on the front wheel being a hybrid scooter, maybe rig up a Regen brake system, rectifier and dc to dc, and connect the brake lever to a pot to crank up the current, slowing the scoot, all together it's about 400-500lbs, so a decent amount of energy slowing from near 50 mph , plus it can be used to accelerate the gas engine faster! But awesome, can't wait!!
I have a 48v 1500w rear hub motor that I'm running at 58v and we'll over 4000w. Let's say there's no hill my mountain bike won't pull me up, works great off-road too.
Hi. Good news and bad news. I got two motors, 72v, and I got one with a newer model which doesn't have those steel rings to keep in place. The new ones are real cool and placed inside a a cast aluminum. But here comes the kicker! My 72v is lacking any fan. Which means these 3000w motors are just gonna over heat super fast and die on my first run. Now a request from a fellow youtuber ... Could you take some pictures with measurements of that fan? I will reach out to Vevor and ask for it, but I have my doubts. So I think it might be easier to just CAD it and 3D print it if I'm ever gonna have a chance to get my project done (outboard conversion) before the season is over. Cheers from Sweden
Was wondering about using one of these as an engine-driven three phase alternator… About 6 to 9 amps at about 48-56 volts is what I hope to manage - about 500 watts…
Can I use the motor alone with my own speed control knob and plug it in? Will it work? I don’t need those other parts. I’m using it for a different project.
i notice that you have this thing about this company and these motors/Controllers, just like that other video you made about Vevor controller, man o man you were upset you got ripped off, i new how to hook it up and i used a on/off switch hooked it to key/lock wires and it worked as it should pretty great actually, sometimes i think i know it all, but i make mistakes, anyways Peace/Love to all!
You wouldn’t even have to take the screwdriver with you if borrowed it from your neighbor. Just open your windows and have that damn thing cross the street 😅
I would really like a fan I can add in there also. I have built several bikes with these motors. This is a great mod. I am over voting a 48v 2000w motor to 60v so this would be great.

A lot of people upgrade the bearings to all metal. Some people even use ceramic
My 2000 no fan 😢. Hope it’s one in my 3000w. Great vid
Gonna get this for my mx650 dirt bike I got a 48v 15mh battery hopefully pushes this motor

Got a 3000w 72v there motor aint workin right with no weight on it all spins good when i sit on it tho it grinds and saueals

Forget it. No fan will work, because there isn't any space inside for it.
Hey i am Sweden, i add Cooling of water better than airfan. 👍🏼
Como fez para adicionar o resfriamento a agua ?
@@CR-VDREAM I have a channel, @navaltechtinkerer could you post a picture to me there?

Hi Dear, do you know what kind (type) of bearings does this motor have inside ? Thanks

Hello, motor is triangle or étoile? I am french... Sorry😁
In english we say wye(like the letter Y) or delta(triangle)
My vevor 2000w phase wire get really hot! Normal or too heavy load ?

Can the motor shaft be replaced?
if you own a big press
GODDAM = run it - and test the air flow! I know you were a dentist in a former life...
Anyone know where i can get the motor fan for the motor 😊
Still can't find a fan for the motor
What type of epoxy?
You wouldn’t even have to take the screwdriver with you if borrowed it from your neighbor. Just open your windows and have that damn thing cross the street 😅
Do you know where to get the internal fan itself?
there may be someone out there that made a stl of the fan to 3d print. you likely would need to purchase off the manufacturer.

@@MrHydroguy are you using the 48 volt controller at 60v? I am thinking of using a 48v controller with a 56v battery
