Thank you!!!! I'm attending Keiser University, major in OTA, getting ready for my NBCOT! This video helped me tremendously. I struggled with this MMT as well as measuring ROM. Would you happen to make a goniometer video? Bony landmarks and their joints, degree of movement? That would be stellar!!! Thank you!!
3- would allow the patient to go to the "test position" which is resisting gravity for a short amount of time. However, the patient cannot hold that position despite having no added resistance. Overall, this was a cool video, great content and keep up the great work!
Yes! I’m in my second year of PT school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. We are required to have access to physio U- it’s great!
I am about to take my finals in human structure and function, what tips do you have for me to succeed in my finals. I am struggling to identify the muscles of the forearm on a model.
This is great for skills checks but in clinic I don’t like that all of these videos use young healthy test subjects with no pain. In the outpatient clinic you see +/- all the time and as a student in my second year of PT school in my first full time clinical I am frustrated as none of the therapists actually use moderate to strong pressure resistance. They just use moderate pressure and grade based on how much they moved against submaximal pressure and not a single person can tell me what leads them to say 4- vs 4 or 4 vs 4+
