Woohoo! Shoestring is back out on the rails! Very happy you are doing well enough to be back out doing what you love. And we love watching your videos, here in Chambersburg PA. Take care out there! PS, I dig the Western Maryland love on your bucket, one of my faves!
I can honestly say I learned several things today, so I subscribed. Just show something new and I’m happy.

Hey just spent the last couple hours watching your old videos.
Everyone should watch the evolution of Shoestring . It’s the best. You’ve come a long way Mr. Shoestring.
the wind charger is genius level.
I've seen it all now......a Hobo with his own wind and solar powered RUclips channel!! Greetings from Great Britain fella and happy travels, stay safe.
Hi from Australia! I stumbled across Stobes videos, then yours last year when I was pretty much confined to a bed. I'm still not well and can't travel much, just as far as my mobility scooter will take me. Its so nice to see you on here again, I'm glad that your health is improved
Hey I pray your better
I just love this channel. You have shown me your wonderful world. Thank you Shoestring. Bless you🌹
Glad to see you back out there and dispensing knowledge. Glad you're feeling better. Another excellent Hobo Shoestring production!
Love the videos and the commentary. I could almost go to sleep listening to your stories in a good way. 😁
I like the fan powered charger. Very ingenious!
Glad you are getting stronger!! I got you in my prayers, as always. By now you have to know your my favorite on RUclips!!!❤ I am your #1Fan
Even though I do not hop trains, I would like to attend the Hobo's Convention in Britt Iowa. I will stop by while on my cross country bike ride. The main thing on my bucket list.
Love me some Shoestring. Your the real Yard Boss. Those Cops are just mad you are one. FACTS. They take the handle off the water so you cant steal water. Buy a silcock key. its a 4 way version of the one you have. Home centers sell them. Most dont even know what one is so it may take a minute to find one. I also carry a voltage detector. It rings when you got power in any wires or outlet. Huge bonus. Mosquito repellent is also a must as well as many other items I carry in my pack. Like a multi tool and a tiny monocular.
Steal? A Hobo does not steal things... appropriation is the word you are looking for... A hobo appropriates things.
Okay i found my new favorite channel !!!
Rest in peace shoestring mark ❤️we are missing you all ready thank you for the beautiful memories 💙thank you for your service 🇱🇷 you was called home to soon 💙 prayers for his family &. Many friends I learned so much knowledge from you thank you for sharing ❤️ fly high Mark 🙏💙🙏❤️🤍💙

Had to watch for 7th time your the best Hobo Ever " we met before in Alvin Tx
I thought driving a truck was freedom... The knowledge and your skills blow interstate living out of the water! I appreciate everything you're doing! Track it up to da UP eh?
Loved the 'Hi tech', wind charger, cool piece of kit. BUT please keep that rare earth magnet way from your phone or credit cards, will zap them before you take your next breath. Chuckled at the tongue test, like the 9v battery test of old.🤭 Good riding!!!🚂👍👋👋😎🇬🇧
One of your best videos yet! It makes me happy to see you happy and back to doing what you love. Safe travels. Look forward to your next upload my friend. 🤙
been watching your vids for a year or two, thanks for the Nekteck charger info that seems essential

So glad to see u "back on track" no pun on words! I missed these videos, and I'm so glad ur feeling up to this,ur going to be the next hobo king,u deserve it! Be well, safe and happy, godspeed!!
I hopped freight from Minnesota out to the west coast and up and down the coast in the late 90s over an entire summer. Watching your videos makes me want to do it again. What happened to all the 48s? We always looked for those with short boxes if we could find them but I never see them anymore. Only the longer versions that don't have floors. I live on the edge of the Minneapolis yard and sometimes think of just jumping on and leaving it all behind. Enjoy your travels.
Love your videos Shoestring... Thank you
Cool man! I watch Scooter Tramp Scotty and this is somewhat similar. You guys are the last true generation of freedom loving people! It's an inspiration!
check out shiey
there are alot of channels of the new generation doing the same.
Chronicles of The Long Memory real stories and life happenings following along in the footseps of history with the likes of U Utah Phillips and Cisco Houston and Jimmie Rodgers and AP Carter..Thanks Shoestring and much regards from here in Southern Ontario Canada
Glad that you're back at it n happy!
Be safe out there!
Those are pressure differential cars. Powder, granular or pebble products.
Glad that you don't have claustrophobia between those standing trains or in the round entries, like me.

I really like that solar powered charger. I gotta get one. I'm just now leaving home for 3 days in remote West Virginia looking for coal trains. Have you been to Williamson and Matewan? thats where I'm heading and who knows where else. See ya in Iowa
Jaw Tooth, they are nice, I have a Patriot
Good luck, there are tons of coal trains here, in the city areas as well as the rural ones.
Hey Jawtooth How’s it goin ? I like those solar powered chargers too.
Jawtooth you should go to Wilmington North Carolina a lot of nice trains there
@@fishguy832 My sister used to live there near Monkey Junction, when I would visit I wanted to see trains but there were not that many there

That's cement dust, sure enough. Those hoppers do use air pressure to blow out the cement dust. Never off loaded a train car, but the truck tankers we use 20psi to blow it out into a silo at the concrete plant.
Glad to see you back to educating your viewers and riding again. You have my vote for Hobo King 🤴.
Glad to see you back l was worried about you. Thanks Big R.
Please stay safe Mr.ShoeString. I am very glad you are out and about. Hope you have plenty of grub and plenty of water. Keep on trucking my friend 🤗🤗🤗🤗
