The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have
written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human
rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next

Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special
profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the
human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good
references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could
speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should
be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all,
because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never
found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person
and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash,
personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal
(there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020. With

Oh my goodness. As great as Floor Jansen is I have to say this young man at the top of the mountain. He is just out of this world. Is there anything he can't do vocally? He covers songs in English and French and other languages and is fluent in all of them. He is very intelligent to do what he does. He is also humble. He dropped out of a vocal contest so a child could win. If that's true he is a great young man. I can't say enough great things about him. Great reaction Angel. Love to you sweetie

Thrilled to be going on the Dimash journey with you. Please react to Love is Like a Dream and Across Endless Dimensions. There are many versions of this last one. Probably the best to start with is the MV for the Italian Science fiction movie Creators-The Past. Listening to Dimash is a bit like going to Italy. You will be changed. More recently there is Stranger, Fly Away and Ave Maria - three completely different performances, where Dimash shift shapes into three completely different personalities. Enjoy this adventure that will leave you astounded at every turn, at turns crying,, dancing, giggling, confused and in love. I heard that Dimash will be opening and closing the Olympics in China. Hoping he will perform Olimpivo ( see the Arneau concert for this one).

🙏 Merci pour votre appréciation du travail de Dimash. Dimash travaille en effet très fort, tous les jours pour produire ce chant quasi parfait. Cette chanson, comme la précedente que vous avez écouté est une reprise d'une chanson en russe, créee en 1998 par un groupe kazakh dont le compositeur est l'homme au piano. Le chanteur est décédé brutalement il y a quelques années et dans le réarrangement fait par Dimash, il a inclut un passage vocal appelé "miélisme" qui est traditionnellement un hommage au défunt dans sa culture. C'était en 2017.
Dimash est une personne très respectueuse et aussi très humble tout en ayant une très grande confiance en lui. C'est cette force et cette humilité qui en fait aussi à mes yeux quelqu'un d'exceptionnel.
Je vous remercie aussi pour votre émotion sincère, dans laquelle je me retrouve et qui montre que Dimash parle déjà à votre âme. Comme vous l'avez dit, vos larmes ne sont pas tristes, elles sont de l'émotion pure. C'est l'âme qui s'exprime.
Ma suggestion pour la prochaine réaction sera " Opera 2", une reprise d'une chanson russe du chanteur Vitas, très créatif avec une voix remarquable. Dimash a interprétée cette chanson d'une façon moins sombre, très légère et joueuse. Cette suggestion est un peu un rituel puisque les Dears proposent de parcourir le travail de Dimash par ordre chronologique.
D'autres propositions peuvent être retenues mais si vous choisissez parmi les chansons récentes je vous conseille de considérer les 3 chansons "stranger", "fly away" et "Ave Maria" comme un ensemble, dans cet ordre, comme un tryptique.
Mais il y en a tant d'autres ......!!!!

Chère Regine, Dimash a chanté "Sinful Passion" sur la New Wave en septembre 2018, et non en 2017. La partie que vous appelez "miélisme"* n'est pas un hommage aux morts de sa culture (et certainement pas un hommage au premier chanteur décédé depuis longtemps - de telles informations absurdes que quelqu'un a jetées une fois, car le premier chanteur de cette chanson est décédé (d'une maladie cardiaque) en 2015 (et il a chanté cette chanson en 1998, et a quitté le groupe pour une carrière solo en 2000) est également reproduite sans réfléchir dans les commentaires.
Cette partie fait partie de la chanson, et plus précisément, c'est une stylisation onomatopée de la lamentation (pleurer) pour l'amour perdu décrit dans cette chanson, pour lequel on manque beaucoup et auquel on souhaite revenir. Ce style a des équivalents dans de nombreuses cultures et styles musicaux. Techniquement, c'est un vibrato guttural - une manière presque classique d'imiter les pleurs.
*"miélisme" - qu'est-ce que c'est quand même (de quel terme d'origine il vient - je connais un peu la tradition funéraire kazakhe - et si c'était censé être "mélismat" (une sorte de figure mélodique), ce que ce fragment n'est pas vraiment.

Hi Angel, Wheeler here again. You've probably heard by now that this song was based on a real situation involving a friend of the band. They would only let Dimash pay tribute.
On a lighter note, for a bit of change up, listen to Dimash sing 'Be With Me', 'Incredible Day', 'Opera 2', 'Olympico', This ought to get your heart really racing. 'Incredible Day' has Dimash reaching a note that I believe is off the piano keyboard on the high end. His newer song 'Stranger' delves down into the basement of his lower register. Absolutely incredible.

Igor is one of the biggest music composers and producers in Russia and he got new wind in his wings when he heard Dimash; finally a singer for whom he could write anything, and it would be a masterpiece!!!
