Diana Ankudinova is the best female singer in the world now too she has a very rare contralto n polyphonic/harmonical overtones voices that's makes Diana one n only voice of mother nature 👍

This was 4 1/2 years ago, you should see how much he’s improved today! He now has a range of over 7 octaves, beautiful in every register! You should react next to his latest three songs Stranger (in English), Ave Maria (no lyrics), Fly Away (in English) from New Wave August 2021. You won’t believe how much he has improved and this SOS from 2017, was already a perfect performance! His 2021 performance of SOS (sung in French) from his digital show in Jan 2021 was even more amazing! Dimash is 27 now, from Kazakhstan. He’s 6ft 3in tall and has won many awards as the most beautiful man in the world. Oh, and he’s extremely humble! Pretty much perfect! Classically university trained since the age of 5. His parents are both famous singers in Kazakhstan. His paternal grandparents, his parents and Dimash all hold the highest award that can be given to a citizen in Kazahkstan. Dimash is a phenomenon from Kazakhstan.
Dimash is one of the best, if not the best, singers on the planet today. He started singing lessons at 5 years old and was later found to have perfect pitch.
Dimash has been on stage since childhood: he sang and played the piano at various venues and competitions throughout his childhood. The young artist was not only a bright performer of famous hits, but also the author of his own songs. He had written seven songs by the age of 24.
His genres include rap, pop, rock, classic, Opera, traditional Kazakh folk and ballad. He is University educated with degrees in classical and opera, as well as contemporary music, pop and jazz.
He also completed a Broadway musical master class. On June 18th, 2020 he completed his masters specializing in composition and received his masters with honours having achieved the maximum score of 100%. He is currently working on his PhD in musical composition.
His 7 octave range (C2-D8 whistle tone) and 10 semitones is beyond comparison.
His vocals range from a rich low bass/baritone to extremely high soprano notes. On at least one occasion he has sung a D8 in whistle tone for 5 seconds with vibrato. He is humbly dismissive of this astounding fact and stresses that it is not the amount of range you have but in fact how you use it to move people. On top of all this, he embodies every song he sings and always gives 100% for his audience.
He's a genius at mixing genres in a song, a style he himself refers to himself as neo-classic. He has won many prestigious awards and is a decorated national treasure in his native Kazakhstan.
Dimash has performed songs in 12 different languages: his native language Kazakh, as well as Russian, Mandarin, English, French, Ukrainian, Italian, Kyrgyz, Turkish, Serbian, German, and Spanish. He speaks Kazakh and Russian, and studies English and Mandarin which he says is a difficult language to learn but he's doing well with it.
On May 24th, 2021 Dimash celebrated his 27th birthday. At 22 he was invited as a wild card to participate in I Am a Singer, a Chinese competition show for professional singers. He ultimately placed second because at the time the rules of the show disallowed anyone who wasn't Chinese to take first place. The show catapulted him to relative stardom worldwide and he became a pop superstar in China.
He is also famous in Russia for his neoclassical work with famous Russian/Ukrainian composer and arranger Igor Krutoy who came out of retirement to collaborate with Dimash. Igor has written songs for Dimash and arranged previously composed music specifically for Dimash. He is often at the piano for many of Dimash's performances.
Dimash has since introduced pop songs in Russia as well. He was on a solo world tour when the pandemic struck. There are several full concerts available to watch online. His concerts are usually around 2 ½ hours with an eclectic mix of vocal styles and genres. He was born into a musical family and both of his parents are famous singers and musicians in Kazakhstan, his mother being an operatic soprano. He was offered a position in the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but turned this position down to pursue his own path in neoclassical and contemporary music.
Although he works with producers, promoters and music labels in other countries his music is produced and distributed through his own company called Dimashali Creative Center.
Dimash plays seven instruments: piano, drums, guitar, keyboard, dombra (the most popular Kazakh instrument, like a lute), marimba (like a xylophone), and bayan (which is like an accordion).
Dimash is most widely known through his live performances and has released several albums, the first one going platinum in 37 seconds in China and triple platinum in less than an hour.
It has been widely recognized that his high notes are not whistle tones but head voice. Dimash rarely uses his whistle register but when he does it is spectacular.
He has many millions of fans worldwide which he has named his "Dears" He is soft spoken, polite, respectful, elegant and classy, also extremely humble, and possesses a wonderful sometimes self-deprecating sense of humor. He is often dismissive of his amazing talent and seldom goes without mentioning his love of country and its history.

Yes, Angel-Dear, that's what happened to me over 4 years ago when I first heard Dimash. I was so amazed that I looked behind my laptop like a child... and believe me, this overwhelming feeling never stops whenever you hear a new song by Dimash.
Angel, Dimash has the ability and unique talent to push artistry beyond what our ears have heard because he enters our soul, massages it, transforms, and removes all those veneers hiding within, healing old wounds and causes the ASMR (chills) to render you speechless and regroup recapturing your soul to get grounded again. I don't think there is anybody on this planet in our lifetime that has this talent. Of course Sinful Passion is next, Love is like a dream to hear his angelic side, Ogni Pietra to appreciate his operatic nuance, and the entire Dimash channel by number of likes would immerse you in a reverie of soul searching. Greatest vocalist on earth. The only vocalist on earth who can sing bass, baritone, tenor, counter tenor PLUS all sopranos. There are a couple of memes on the internet about a picture having a "sound". The reverse is true for Dimash. He can be at any artistic pose holding a microphone and I can honestly say that I have NO clue what sound is coming out except that it is AMAZING.
This song is not just one-off. You will need to strap yourself in and don't even try to hold back the tears with "Ave Maria" and "Daybreak" and every other song will attach itself to your memory in astounding fashion. You are not alone with your initial reaction. I enjoy listening to vocal coaches rhapsodize over Dimash and analyze and explain his every note. However, I have just as much enjoyment watching a regular person like myself - someone who isn’t an expert in voice dynamics or music production, but just someone who loves music, loves good songs and great voices - fall under the spell of Dimash, just as I did about 18 months ago. Haha! You are right where I was about a year and a half ago. I had just gone on furlough because of the pandemic and I wanted to start listening to singers other than those found in the US. I began by watching a wide variety of RUclips videos of people reacting to various performers and reading the comments posted to each video. Dimash's name was mentioned almost all of the time. So, long story short, I found the very same video to which you just reacted and had the very same reaction! This performance on the Chinese annual singing competition on "The Singer" was watched by 600 million Chinese households...the next morning Dimash had to have bodyguards for the first time in his life! I'm 70 years old and I've never heard/seen anyone sing/perform like Dimash...he surprises you in every single video! Like you, I am not a singer or vocal coach, but I know what I like.
Oh, before I forget, there is someone else to whom you should react...she is a Russian singer by the name of Diana Ankudinova. She is currently 18 years old and has a voice you will simply not believe! Try her two performances in "Wicked Game" when she was 14 and "Human" when she was 15....incredible!!
This was a historic moment and the song of the songs for Dimash and us, his Dears (This is what Dimash calls us fans.) This song comes from the famous Canadian-French rock opera 'Starmania' 1978, well known in French-speaking countries) and is one of the most difficult songs to sing and made Dimash a mega-star overnight.
In 2017 Dimash received a wild-card for the competition “The Singer” in China. He was the youngest participant of all time (22 years) and the first non-Chinese. Only professional, award-winning singers take part. Nobody knew or hear Dimash before and he also had to start first... and after this song Dimash captured the hearts of over 600 millions of viewers over night. The next day, bodyguards stood at his door.
The competition consisted of 14 rounds, over 4 months. The jury consists of 500 spectators. With up to 1 billion people see this tv-program, that's generated international interest. The performances were uploaded to RUclips... and so, we became Dimash’s Dears.
The Chinese organizers planned that Dimash would survive two episodes of the competition and go home again. They didn't really believe in him. But Dimash came, sang and stayed... for the next 3 years in China... but he only finished second in the competition because he's not Chinese (conditions have changed: The next year, Jessie J. won).🌼🇩🇪

Angel thanx so much for your beautiful react. Dimash looks 16 yrs old here. But’s he’s not. He’s 22 yrs old. And it looks like he was just a talented vocalist with a 10” performance. When I saw this like you for the first time that’s what I thought. But, Dimash is way way way more than that. Dimash was a child prodigy, but not just vocals he was a child prodigy with everything he touched. What I did after I saw this I went to wikipedia and searched him there. I suggest you go there . Most of it is true. Just a hint about this performance.Dimash collabed or produced everything you saw. The lights the sound engineering the backup vocals the instruments anything you can see Dimash did. I didn’t believe till I went away and read the comments and his bio. He’s in his doctorate with two masters at this show. This is 2018. You’ve got to go back to the future 2021. N is channel you will find him singing 4 years later SOS at his live digital show in 2021. See what a “10” 4 years later sounds like. Dimash is no ordinary vocalist. He sings in 12 languages, and plays 8 instruments. He’s a maestro vocalist. His range is higher than Michael Jackson’s was and lower. The same for Freddy Mercury. Dimash has between 7 and 8 octaves. We don’t know for sure. Fly Away is #20 on the billboard top 100. 6 or 7 months ago 3 f his music videos were in the top 5 slots of ken Kenny’s Friday night livestream show on MTV. There’s just too much tell about Dimash but besides all that he’s a super guy and says he calls his fans Dears because he thinks of them as family. After singing this song the next morn he opened his door to two bupig guys at his door he was scared. They told him not to worry they were his bodyguards. They were there to protect him from his fans that came to see him. 1 billion people watched that show. His I’d album after the show went platinum in 37 seconds and again ina few more.

Well, Angel, you have just barely scratched the surface of what this guy can do. I discovered this song and performance four years ago and I've never looked back. For me it has become Dimash day in and day out because he covers virtually every genre of music known to man and because all the other most important music of my music obsessed life somehow seems less important to me. If you choose to take a trip through Dimashland it is a journey you will never regret. But keep a seat belt handy; you may need it from time to time. He has the ability to amaze you right out of your chair!
