Your Mom is a Gem! Dimash started music school at age 5, His mom is an Opera Singer, Father is a singer songwriter. Dimash has a God Given gift plus genes from both parents. He has studied all genres of Music through University. He now has his Masters degree in music composition & now working on his PHD. He sings all genres of music from rock, pop, ballads, Kazakh cultural music, SOS a soul in Distress, This song was done on a Chinese TV show called I am a singer in 2017, Dimash was 22 yrs old and was invited to be on the show after winning several contest outside of China. This was a "Breakout song for him due to You Tube & he hasn't stopped since. He has toured the world doing concerts, I was able to see him perform in Dec 2019, at Barclays Center. I can say the night was magical! I have followed Dimash since then, he is now 27 yrs old & we celebrate him & talent as much as we can, by presenting him with flowers at each concert or performance. His calls his fans "Dears" because they are family to him. He has said on many occasions that if you open his head you will see music, & of course his heart pumps music. his pore exudes music to touch your soul & he just wants you to enjoy it. Igor Krutoy came out of retirement at age 65 to play for Dimash, he is a renown pianist from Russia. Since they were united together like father & son a dynamic duo. His English has gotten so much better since 2017 when he did SOS, but we still love his Kazakh accent.

So what. I can sing in more languages than him. For example: English, German, Thai, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, mandarin, Cantonese, French, hmong, Spanish, Russian,kazakh, hindi, Khmer, and kra-dai (laos). What matters is actually speaking them fluently which he can only do 3 of which is OKAY. It's fine if he can't sing fluently in all the languages no need to. But you shouldnt brag about it either.

Correction: Dimash doesn’t speak 12 languages, he *sings* in 12 languages. He speaks fluently two languages: Kazakh and Russian; learned enough Mandarin to live in China for 3 years following the 2017 I Am Singer competition, though I’m not sure how fluent he is in it; is learning English (has actually done at least one interview in English that I can remember.) Also, Igor Krutoy is not Dimash’s teacher. He has collaborated with/mentored Dimash for several years now, producing most recently “Stranger” and “Ave Maria” for the 2021 New Wave competition in Sochi, performed by Dimash as a guest artist (he was also a judge). “Stranger” immediately jumped to the top of my Dimash favorites the first time I heard it. My understanding is Dimash did his training at school and university. Igor came out of retirement to produce his music, he didn't teach him. But I am sure Dimash has learnt something from his professional relationship with him. From Dimash's father he state " Dimash would never do anything which would put his instrument (his voice) at risk and trusts him 100% to always make the right decisions in that area" He was 22 here.

Your Mom is a Gem! Dimash started music school at age 5, His mom is an Opera Singer, Father is a singer songwriter. Dimash has a God Given gift plus genes from both parents. He has studied all genres of Music through University. He now has his Masters degree in music composition & now working on his PHD. He sings all genres of music from rock, pop, ballads, Kazakh cultural music, SOS a soul in Distress, This song was done on a Chinese TV show called I am a singer in 2017, Dimash was 22 yrs old and was invited to be on the show after winning several contest outside of China. Hasn't he been learning Mandarin as well? I read that since his popularity in China he has been studying this language.

So what. I can sing in more languages than him. For example: English, German, Thai, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, mandarin, Cantonese, French, hmong, Spanish, Russian,kazakh, hindi, Khmer, and kra-dai (laos). What matters is actually speaking them fluently which he can only do 3 of which is OKAY. It's fine if he can't sing fluently in all the languages no need to. But you shouldnt brag about it either.

Correction: Dimash doesn’t speak 12 languages, he *sings* in 12 languages. He speaks fluently two languages: Kazakh and Russian; learned enough Mandarin to live in China for 3 years following the 2017 I Am Singer competition, though I’m not sure how fluent he is in it; is learning English (has actually done at least one interview in English that I can remember.)
Also, Igor Krutoy is not Dimash’s teacher. He has collaborated with/mentored Dimash for several years now, producing most recently “Stranger” and “Ave Maria” for the 2021 New Wave competition in Sochi, performed by Dimash as a guest artist (he was also a judge). “Stranger” immediately jumped to the top of my Dimash favorites the first time I heard it.

Dimash's phenomenal voice is the result of the development of his talent with great work. Dimash has a higher classical music education, he was even invited to the opera theater, but he chose the stage. And as he himself said , he wants not only to achieve world fame, but also to show Kazakh art to the whole world. Therefore, Kazakh folk instruments are used in the music for many of Dimash's songs and they give the music a special unique sound.
The range of Dimash's voice is huge, its limits known today are A2-D8. But it is quite possible that this is not the limit! His perseverance in achieving the goal is known and what we can expect - time will tell, and Dimash will voice it!

- Dimash Kudaibergen was born in Aktobe, Kazakhstan, on May 24, 1994. It is now 191 cm tall.

I also love this Man, I still remember the first time I listened SOS and I cry and after that I saw like 50 reaction videos on SOS but only few of them touch my heart.
Dimash is a multidimensional singer because his music can transport you to different dimensions same as those paintings that cost millions of dollars.

My understanding is Dimash did his training at school and university. Igor came out of retirement to produce his music, he didn't teach him. But I am sure Dimash has learnt something from his professional relationship with him.

Песня была выбрана еще и потому, что Мама изучает французский язык. Из их беседы по ходу просмотра видно, что Сын много уже знает о Димаше, но не все его некоторые знания о нем не очень достоверны. Наверное, это недоработка нас, фанатов Димаша, кто в своих комментариях дает не очень точную информацию. Я коротко записала, как смогла и поняла.
МАМА - Я хочу закрыть глаза, чтобы послушать этого парня. Я в шоке, я впечатлена, я имею в виду, что это парень - вау! Его голос как будто бархатный. Когда он начинает, то он высокий и легкий, а затем у него есть полное голосовое управление. Так красиво, как будто он плывет, а потом просто спускается до своего баритона. Идет от светлого и высокого до нот в более низком диапазоне, с эмоциями. Это действительно сложно.
СЫН - Его вокальный диапазон настолько разнообразен, что он может идти от баритона до высоких нот. Он не француз.
МАМА - Его французский хороший, у него был хороший учитель или он самоучка. Вероятно, он говорит на других языках или нет?
СЫН - Его учитель музыки Игорь Крутой. Димаш из Казахстана. Он говорит на 12 языках или что-то вроде этого. Я не совсем знаю, но он полиглот. Он просто невероятно дисциплинирован, учится час за часом и изучает языки.
МАМА - Этот парень удивительно талантлив. … Чувствуется, что у него есть подготовка к классической музыке. МАМА - Он снова идет на тихий голос. «Почему я живу, почему умираю?.. Почему улыбаюсь, почему плачу?..». Я стоя аплодирую этому парню. Он человек с этой планеты Земля? Он молод, он харизматичный, он настоящий исполнитель, т.к. он знает, что делать на сцене, у него есть голос.
СЫН - Это видео было опубликовано три года назад или почти четыре. Сейчас ему 27 лет, так что тогда ему было 23-24 года. Он не принимает наркотики, … Ему нужен вокальный диапазон, а это не приходит ниоткуда, поэтому он тренирует легкие, плавая в воде, задерживая дыхание.
МАМА - Фрэнк Синатра тоже делал это, с задержкой дыхания, чтобы он мог полностью контролировать свой голос так, чтобы все это звучало, как будто бы он не дышал. Я не знаю, сколько октав у этого парня. Я думаю, у него как минимум около шести октав. … У него есть все техники, которые он передает своим голосом, а потом он делает стаккато - он может быть очень очень маленьким (тихим), и он может просто пробить ноту и издать огромный звук. Эта динамика проходит через всю песню. … Естественно, да, да, мурашки по коже. Думаю, моя челюсть тоже упала от этого парня. Это, конечно, будет смешно, но многие, кто собирался стать певцами, после Димаша должны считать, что он просто полностью лишил мотивации всех, кто хочет стать певцом. Этот парень - просто исключение из того, что я знаю. Что он делает, как тренируется. Но кем бы он ни был, он сам по себе тренер! Он просто великолепен. По крайней мере, за это выступление я даю ему «десятку». Надеюсь, что он будет продолжать петь еще долгое время. Я, конечно, не понимаю, как он может так необычно петь, не повредив себе что-то. Он выглядит расслабленным. Это были «американские горки».

He was the first performer in 2017 for the annual Chinese singing show known as "The Singer", and the first non-Chinese to ever be invited to perform. All of the singers were established and well-known in China. The show is piped into more than 600 thousand Chinese homes and they went nuts for Dimash. Although he did not win the 4-month contest, he came in a very, very close second to the winner...it is believed politics were involved to not allow a non-Chinese to win a Chinese competition.
He just released a new version of this song from his January 2021 virtual concert. It's a much more intimate version of the song which I think you will really enjoy.
