Trikes are a lot of fun to ride. I got my wife one and she loved it.

Well congratulations on getting a tricycle. I bought mine in December 2021. It took me a while to get used to riding it too. My background is riding bicycles. I found that the trike will follow any camber (slope) of the road or sidewalk. Therefore, keeping my trike going straight was my biggest challenge. But I've got it figured out now. You can get pretty good speed going but remember to slow down when turning. Have fun; keep pedaling.

Lol! Yes it took me a little bit to get used to how to ride the trike! I haven't taken it out on a spin in a little bit. It has been too hot to go for a ride.
I like having it because everything I need like a local grocery store and my work isn't terribly far away.
Thanks man. You keep on peddling too my friend ☺️

@@mr.nomadben7109 Does the Moonkool have rear differential fitting? The right rear tire only fits in right as the axil end has a thicker bolt fitting over the left? Or do you just fit either tires to either sides?

I've wanted an adult tricycle for at least 20 years. I did my research and the MoonCool Trike seemed like the best fit for me. I took it out for a spin for the first time today. It's been a VERY long time since I've been on a bike, so I was a little rusty. I live in an area that has a lot of uphill areas. The hills KILLED me!!! I don't know if thicker wheels would help, but it DEFINITELY doesn't do well going uphill! The other issue I had is I literally felt like I was going to tip over A LOT!!! I'll keep trying, but I might look into better/thicker tires to see if it makes the ride easier. If not maybe I'll invest in an electric hybrid trike to get me through those tougher areas! HaHa!

Bigger tires may make it harder to pedal, I added a 3hp gas motor to mine. I can go on any hill.

I have been looking at different types of trikes. The kind that you have is definitely the most affordable. But, the tadpole recombinant trikes are supposed to be the most comfortable, the easiest to ride, and the most fun. Tadpoles recombinants come in two types. The ones with two wheels in the back, and the ones with two wheels in the front. The recombinants that have two wheels in the back are cheaper than the recombinants with two wheels in the front, but it seems to me that the recombinant with two wheels in the front would suit me best.

I think tadpole trikes would be great for pure exercise and if you are going long distance to work. Definitely a good road trike.
I haven't rode my trike in a good bit. Once it starts warming up again I'll definitely take it out for a spin

I bought me the cheaper MTB Trike from Vevor, just assembled it as it was fun of learning the basics of these Trikes. The way they ride is nigh and day vs 2 wheel bike , Trikes not meant for high speeds due to the boxed in steering or say pressure pushing the handlebars as the range is limited of tipping over if you turn too wide. I put a motor wheel in front to assist heavy cargo and knowing now of the speeds from test rides, it has to come at low speeds or just a pause when turning. Trikes are meant for peddling of cruising on straightaway paths of routes, you just have to not ride thru the turns at all times. I bought this is my store run ebike due to myself not able to drive cars anymore of being half blind now.

I have an electric trike and it’s great fun to ride. It says it will go 15 MPH but I have it only up to 7. That’s fast enough for me. I went 100 MPH on my motorcycle but I have grown a brain in the past 30 years.

Wife & I purchased 2 of them "His & Hers" both of the trikes rear axels out of the box were not functioning correctly. The bearings in one was seized, the other doesn't turn at all & when it does it feels like rotating a crankshaft on a lawn mower with compression by hand. They should turn freely out of the box. Now trying to return both back to the Amazon 3rd party sellers. And let me tell you what, That is a real PAIN. The sellers want us to pay for the shipping costs back to them. Not Cool, Don't bother with these cheap knock off's. I'm glad youre's is working out for you never the less.

@@mr.nomadben7109 Ben, I just had 2 different bike shops tell me the rear axel bearings in both Trike rear ends are bad. Straight from the factory. Bummer. I can get the bearings PN# 6202-2RZ from a local bearing supplier for $9 each for the Chinese made and $19 each for the American made. The rear bearings are a standard item & not an unusual size. Then the cost of a puller. $40 at Harbor freight... That really deflates my excitement . Can I fix it myself? Yes, but Someone needs to accomadate for the repairs or pay Tom Sawyer Schwinn to R&R them

@@mr.nomadben7109 Update. My wife & I FINALLY received the postage paid return labels. We sent them back and finally got all of our money back. Dealing with these companies was a total nightmare! At first we asked for replacement parts and as they kept promising them and or a refund but denying any return prepaid labels & or replacement parts just a small $30 credit. Then we went to the Amazon A-Z program. It helped somewhat but I cannot emphasize enough to beware of any Amazon or Walmart third party sellers! Thanks for the prayers from friends & family on this issue. God is good. Thanks Mr. Nomad Ben for keeping this post up !
