I traded just a few of these comics for a HUGE box of rare retro toys, here's the vid of the trade: ruclips.net/video/uEa41Am4ScM/видео.html
Was interested in some comics u found on here how can i reach you?
Hey brotha are you still selling any of those? Awsome pick ups.
@@Marro-ss9dv I have a few on ebay here and there, but if you saw a particular book you're interested in just send info/offers to Pickerswarehouseconcord@gmail.com thanks!!🤘🤘

INSANE! I’m trying not to be jealous but it’s hard! Congratulations!!!!
Thank you Frank!! I got very lucky🙏🙏
@@PickersWarehouseTV you got more then just very lucky
You should get ahold of Very Gary Comics on the batman stuff. He is a big collector of early Batman books.
Im a veteran comic book guru..60 years old and collected comics most of my life from the age of 4 years old.If you have 700 books and sold them all for $10.00 each..your turning $1,000 into $7,000 easily. The early Avengers alone are worth well more than $10 each. The books at best are mostly good condition..but you only paid $1.43 for each book.I rarely find collections such as this in such quanity, but I have found usually collections with 100 books and paid only $50.00 for the entire stack. There is a lot of money in comic books and the value holds itself unlike ball cards and other collectables. The cuts on the corners of some of the books is the result of companies picking up books from retailers and replacing issues with new books each bi-weekly period or each month.Usually these books are taken back to the magazine wholesale companies and piled in recycle loads.Someone snatched these books up for themselves before that happened apparently and got circulated in society.I loved watching this video..I never tire of old comic books and I never will..Thanks for this
Wonderful information!! That was a great read thank you so much!!🙏🙏
Dale Gentry - no way, not $10, the conditions are pretty bad.
Who would pay $10 per comic for those? They're in horrible condition
This is exactly why I want to flip houses and always check the attic!
The missing corners are probably an indication of a remaindered copy. Usually they cut the title off, rather than rip of the entire cover, to send back to the distributorfor refund. Here, they probably just reported it as destroyed, cut the corner, and sold them for a nickel.
Make sure to bag and board! :)
I wish I could find something like this lol
You gave him an extra $500. You sir are a gentleman and an honest comic book collector
Thanks! It usually pays off to be fair, especially when trying to build a buyer relationship
That's just it I want to sell all for a fair price so u can make money also pfcoarse
A lot of those comics are damaged no first appearance condition is everything paid to much
Dang, that was a crazy lotta Silver Age goodness.
Here's my take on the "extra $500" debate that's going on in the comments -- I would've offered to pay the guy the $500 he asked and then offered him an extra $50 or $100 "for your time, effort and expenses." (By the time I was ready to hand over the cash, I would have already asked him a few questions about when, where and how he acquired the comics, so I'd have some notion how much trouble he went through.) As a parting thought, I would've asked the guy to keep me in mind if he ever gets his hands on other comic-related material. I would definitely not have offered anything over the asking price under these circumstances (buying from stranger who claims to have found the comics in someone's attic, no time to examine every comic, obvious prevalence of low-grade books).
My reasoning for this approach:
* It's cheaper.
* As other have pointed out, offering double the seller's asking price could have spurred him to re-think the whole idea of selling the collection to you.
* It sets a precedent you can live with -- paying a 10% or 20% "time, effort, expense" fee is something you can afford to do again, if this guy ever calls you again offering something you want to purchase. On the other hand, setting a precedent for "paying double the asking price" may complicate your price negotiations in the future.
* I think it's a bad idea to ask a seller to promise to contact you about all future comic finds. He might make the promise in bad faith (ie. not planning to keep it), then use the promise as a bargaining chip with other potential buyers -- as in, "I promised this other guy I'd offer everything to him first, but if you meet my price *right now* I might forget about that little promise...." He also might end up resenting you if he wants to sell comics to someone else but feels obliged to contact you first, ie. he keeps the promise but asks for a high price to "punish" you for the exclusivity deal. Instead, I'd just ask the seller to "keep me in mind," which is really non-committal.
* I don't know anything about the seller and can't assess him. But, as a general proposition, if a comic-book seller is a shady character -- like, he actually stole those comics, or got them from someone who did -- the fact that you happily part with an extra $500 cash might motivate him to set you up for a robbery or other type of rip-off, on the assumption that you have easy access to lots more cash.
My two cents. Not trying to rain on your parade, just sharing my opinion. Thanks again, and congratulations. :)
Definitely. In hindsight I do regret the way I went about it. I got too excited
@@PickersWarehouseTV Relevant points, but what you did was nice and honest, and it's hard to put a price on the goodwill you created (I think a lot of companies overlook generating goodwill as a major factor when building company assets).
The drug issues were Spider-Man 98 99 I do believe.
Man, there’s enough there for history alone, that it was absolutely worth the purchase. Great score
Thanks!! Such a blast to sort through
Amazing find!! More content like this. Good strategy to offer more. Sometimes you just gotta pay up to keep them deals comin'!!!
Or just gave the guy wanted he asked for ...Don't get me wrong, it's great the guy was honest and nice but the seller was asking for 500. Just give him what he wanted. Now he is gonna wonder why you offered more and go look them up online and shit a brick
If you really wanna be a saint he should have advised the man to put up each one on EBay and make that paper. My goodness.
@@comixof2morrow very good point! I could tell the guy was old school and comes across a lot of stuff. Just wanted to shoot a better offer to build that relationship
@@PickersWarehouseTV ,I get it...but how likely is it that he's gonna come up with another great lot? LoL, I'm not at all trying to be negative or rude...If it was me though, and someone just decided to offer double my asking price I would have said no and apologized for wasting your time and gave you some gas money and researched those books and and sold them for close to value and on the flip side, you could have just paid the 500 and turned around and sold what you didn't want or need for PC and made your money back plus some ..if you slab them, even at a low grade, you'd make a killing. CgC and CBCS would love to grade and slab those. Quadruple or more the value when slabbed.
The original owner of the books must have owned a book store/comic shop judging from all those duplicates many with prices on them. Also get the sense someone cherry picked the best ones e.g. no ASM in the lot. DD 1, SS 1 missing but 2 was there, etc ...still great great find!
Major score! We all dream about coming across collections like this! He was so close to a Daredevil #1 and #7... Darn huh? But that Daredevil #2 is 2nd Appearance of Daredevil and 2nd Electro... Big book right now! And those 4 or 5 copies of Hawkman #4 is sweet! You did really well man! Congrats! So much thrill and excitement going thru boxes of old books and pricing them out. So jealous!
I think avengers 16 is a key issue I'm not sure you might be able to fetch alot
Very nice video. Soy smasher was my favorite of the lot. Several dd nbr 4. 1st purple man. Nice
Love the insane Comics Collection all the duplicate comics u did great invested.
SCORE! (Unfortunately the Pandemic has made some people desperate!)
You do know Simon and Kirby worked on Black Magic?? And Spzce Adventures is by Steve Ditko?
Wowwy, wow, wow! You got a great haul man! It’s great that you took care of that guy too and I hope he takes care of you with more comics, if he finds them! I checked eBay and I think I saw that Blue Bolt Weird Tales you have there on sale for $378! You’d make your money back and much more bud after you sale most of, if not all, these comics! Great video man! Liked, commented and subscribed! Thanks for sharing!
Cleaned, pressed and slabbed, I'm guessing $100,000 in profit.
At least.
No way at least a 1,000,000
Good lord man, spare a brother a Hawkman 4 and 1st Purple Man, since you're apparently rollin' in them? You really scored the dream find. I'm sure you realized by now, since this vid is a few months old, but those Enter Doom Avengers aren't 1st Doctor Doom, that's Fantastic Four 5.
NEVER going to happen...how come Non Comic Book fans seem to find all the good stuff?
House of Stamps! 1954! That's 4 years before I was borned! 1948! That's 10 yrs before I was borned! WOW! They are old! LOL
Early western ghost rider worth some money.
This is all worth at min 5 figures these days wow what an incredible score
I’m so jealous all the early daredevil in multiples!!! And the Batman. Wow. Honestly no joke probably over $20,000 in raw books and if you got all those early marvels graded you would be looking at a fortune. It’s funny which ones you thought were the most expensive. Way off but good for you man that’s insane.
At a guess, the previous owner probably ran a newsstand or general store, couldn't sell them, but squirreled them away knowing they would be worth something. Great find!
These are the type of collections that all comic collectors dream of, congrats on the find. You will certainly see a return of the duplicates even if there not in high grade... 😏👍
Thank you!!
For the money u paid definitely got your cash money worth investment.
Thanks Steve!
Just sent my uncles comic collection of over 10,000 comics to auction after months of cataloging. Mostly silver and bronze but gold too. Multiple issues of FF 52 , AMS 5-100, tales of suspense 39 and all sorts. I think December 2022 is the auction. ❤
I think every older book is amazing no matter the condition I will always love the older book !!! And you 100% got your money back in vaule!!! Do you sel on evay if so wat is your name on evay ??
thanks!! eBay is TinyFleaMarket
@@PickersWarehouseTV I can't seem to find you can you leave a link ?
Looks like the prices are in grease pencil which you may be able to erase without damage.
Jeez I was waiting to see daredevil 1 it had to have been there at one point that sucks
I know!! Was happy with the #2's but woulda been awesome
You really should put them in comic bag's
Amazing find. You’ve made half your money back with the Hawkman 4 copies. Love finding these in the wild.
FELL 4 THE GRIFT
good job! I hope you found out what that brave and the bold #43 with the FIRST HAWKMAN is it just paid for 75% of that box even at a 3-4 grade and looks like it can preset to a 5-6 grade drooling lol
Really cool video, congratulations on the find! It's good that you doubled the asking price. I wouldn't listen to people who say you should have just given him what he wanted. Where you run into potential difficulty is when the seller doesn't have a price and asks you to make an offer. If you know that they're pretty valuable, how do you remain honest and offer him way more. I guess that you could offer half of what you think they are worth. That would be pretty fair for the time, effort, and risk you take when trying to sell them later.
I was waiting for that hawkman 4, even lowgrade is in the hundreds congrats !
Love old comix the art the smell of them the yellowing of pages wish i could find a stash like that
daredevil 4, avengers 36 are good but seemed you werent aware of those. nice find
They seem to be in poor condition, I hope u didn't overpay for them. $500 seemed like a fair price but you know more about this stuff than I do. Good luck!
The Hawkmans even in poor condition fetch about 250-400 a piece. Some of the avengers books in poor condition fetch hundreds--my quick estimate was about $6,500 worth ..
Nice! Too bad that Green Lantern run had the writing, looked FN+. With books like that you wanna bag and board em instantly, and plus doing that you get to look at them closely and can see detachments and ticks. Unless you plan to sell on bulk then may be counterproductive.
You got any of those avengers 25 left? Doom is my favorite.
Great find let me know if you want to sell any of the western comics great video 👍
Just the DD's are worth hundreds. Great deal
all of those gold key comics with the photo covers are hidden treasures, the Avengers 16 is the first start of the team without the original members, daredevil #8 first stiltman, also avengers 9 first wonderman and any of those 1950's mystery or suspence type books are also highly hunted. great find dude
Thanks for the info thats awesome!!
I actually did bag everything 90 percent is in very very good condition how should I go about this
I actually have most of what I just seen pics of
How do I go about this I'm in a little financial crossed is there any honest help out there
I also have a pretty good size mad collection also and news papers from the kennedy era 22/23/24/ about 15 different brands of paper s
So many duplicates of key issues. Awesome! So many copies of the first frightful four along with many others so crazy
You got the best comic book sale on RUclips ever!
The writing was the price, probably from a used bookstore. The grease pencil can be cleaned off. Amazing collection & good job paying double - that was a great thing you did!
There's a couple of Brave and the Bold #59s you glossed over in there...(Yellow cover with Batman and Green Lantern on opposite sides of each other fighting the 'Time Commander'). Anyway, that's the first ever Batman 'team-up' story in a comic series and would prove to be so successful that the series would change into an exclusive Batman 'team-up' book only 8 issues later. In short, that's a key issue
wtf holly grail captain marvel that is Shazam even it that shape he went through like 30 year legal battle with Marvel and Superman $$$$$$$ that just paid for everything lmao!
Great find!
I just love how you're manhandling those delicate old Mags 😐
I had to watch this video again because it’s so cool! Lol
The comics that Stan Lee did that did have any codes where Amazing Spiderman 96-98 the issues where dubbed "The Drug Issues"
Love the Batman Silver Age stuff 🖤
Wow great find avengers 16 is a great find!
Loved the haul but no ASM! I felt you were exceedingly generous to double the payment due to poor condition and no ASM. Many books were also cartoon characters. Still, would love to have those Avengers and Fantastic Four at those grades because they would be way too expensive to get in mint. Good job in the wild!
INSANE IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT
Damn that’s a major score I would have easily paid twice maybe three times that much. Just all of those early avengers fantastic four and other early marvel books are worth it. Not to mention all the golden. Great find
Great score. Curious if you still have that Daredevil #2 and any of those # 4s left. If so, would you be willing to sell? Lemme know.
What an incredible find. This is the stuff that urban legends are made of.
Will be tough for me to top this one, but hope I do someday!!
Blown away my friend!! I hope you have gained much knowledge on comics since picking up this collection!! Thanks for sharing!!
Awesome to see all the classic/old comics! 😊👍
That is a dream come true!
How do you find these yard sales with comics?!? Great find
Me and mine husband had a fews comic book tryings to sell them?? We need help asp hit us up plases thank u
How much for captain marvel 1and 2 if you still have
Do you still have the Spy Smasher?
I kind of skimmed through the video. Did u find any EC's?
I believe you may have good enough ones to get graded and get good money
I'd love that Man Comics #5 if you still have it?
I'd take one of those Avengers 25 issues off your hands
Super jealous bro lol
Bag and borad them bad boys up. Great find are u selling any of them?
By now you should realize what a profitable find this was. Many cool books and I know you were surprised later by ones you didn't know much about. Like Atlas books, etc. etc. It was such a great deal part of me wonders how he actually acquired them. Even in those conditions, the 10 best books together made you a big profit and the 100's of others a ton more. Rare find and price.
Such a rare deal, blessed to have had the chance to buy them. He does house clean outs and found them in an attic I believe. The condition and presentation of the collection (almost 100% unbagged raw condition) definitely confirms the story for me. Hope I get the chance to buy another collection like this one day🙏
Sick. Love vids like these, always get him to a couple covers I've never seen.👍
All that for $1K. Jesus christ, people don't do their freaking due diligence! That seller missed out on several thousand dollars from what you paid if not more. Crazy!
Sort of yes, but not really. The seller does house clean outs, that's how they make money. Older guy. Not on ebay etc. To get "what these are worth".. it takes a lot to sell 700+ comics individually for full price. Many hours of work, fees, shipping, taxes, etc. Still, at the time I wasn't sure the total value but I knew it was much more than $500, which is why I doubled my offer. To your point, say he determined the value was 10k, put these up for sale at 10k, you think anyone is gonna buy 700 raw comics at full price in bulk? Neither do I
Have to find a buyer but you can make your money back on that Spy Smasher 9.
yeah the spy smasher was one of the biggest books in the lot, looks like. Super cool to find anything like that in the wild.
@@charliecole9529, any comic old enough to and also have Hitler being attacked on the cover pulls money. Always.
@@big_burly_bro yep. tons of other great stuff here even in low grade, too.

Would have loved some spiderman!! I've hit big silver age scores including all you mentioned, but that was before I started filming everything unfortunately 😣
Huh? You said it yourself NO ASM, NO HULK, NO _Action_ (Supes), NO Detective, NO _Adventure,_ NO Avngrs 1-4 etc. IT MIGHT OF BEEN A "JACKPOT" PRIOR TO THE IDIOT WHO CLEARLY CHERRY PICKED many of them titles out FIRST..
- Not that Some Wally Wood DD covers, Them SPY SMASHER'S Avngrs 12 ((GoT scribe George RR. Martin 1st published work)), 1st Black Hand in GL #29, 1st Zatanna in Hawkman #4 ain't bad buy no means..

That was truly incredible
It’s literally 7am here I’m sitting in my living room and once you hit all those sub 10 daredevils I literally screamed WTF! I think there was a 1st app of suicide squad in there I could be wrong tho, Wow…. That’s all I gotta say. Congrats!!
fun and rare
That Batman #105 big hit...second appearance ever of batwoman...and that daredevil #2 is a definite money maker
yeah, because comics were created for people to just make money. :-( sad that all the creativity and genuine art that went into creating these books gets lost to greedy people only interested in how these books can make them un-deservingly wealthy!
