I use the Nisi V5 system (which uses 2mm filter thickness ), I wanted a 3 stop reverse grad. I compared the prices of Nisi and K&F Concept and the K&F was half the price of the Nisi. Very happy with the K&F product.

Hi John, Thanks for watching. I also use Nisi and am very happy with them but they are expensive. There are a few things I prefer about the Nisi System but the filter quality on K&F is very good and significantly cheaper. Cheers, Ian

@@IanSmissenPhotography Nice review! 100x100mm square filters of both NiSi and K&F are 2mm thick, so they are interchangeable in respective filer holders, is that correct? Many thanks

Thanks Bob! It was good to get back to it. COVID and a bunch of other things put much of my photography on hold for 9 months. Ironically, we went back into strict lockdown yesterday as I was finishing this video. Should only be for a few days so I hope to get back out soo. I hope you're well. Stay safe and happy shooting. Cheers, Ian

Greetings from West Virginia, USA! I've heard mostly good recommendations about K&F filters. I think I'll give them a try.

I particularly enjoyed the lighting discussion because others want us to believe the sun moves at their command! We’re fishermen of a sort, are we not?

Hi Ian. Thank you for your video! A little off topic. Which one Lumix G9 lens would work for flowers, butterflies/insects, landscapes, and portraits, please?

      Hi JettySplash
Thanks for watching. It's hard to answer your question with a recommendation for one lens to cover all of those things as the requirements for some are quite specialised. If I were starting out with only one lens, I would go for the Panasonic-Leica 12-60mm f/2.8-4 lens. While I don't own this lens I have heard very good things about it.
      Cheers, Ian

@@IanSmissenPhotography Thank you Ian. I only own one lens so far, LOL. I started with the Leica 100-400 for birding. Now I need one for Ocean landscapes and my butterfly garden.

is it possible to still use a CPL filter on the lens? or only the ND filters in the system?

    • @IanSmissenPhotography

If your CPL filter has a filter thread you could mount the CPL on the lens and then mount the filter holder to the CPL filter.
