I am sharing this conversation!!! This is an incredible story! Brought to mind one of egw's quotes, saying 'satan moves noiselessly...' Thank God for this testimony!!! May God continue embracing His children now and forever
This conversation was such a blessing. There is nothing that God can't do. Thanks for sharing. God bless.
I know that hopeless feeling. I also know that freeing feeling that always comes even when it doesn’t look like it will! There’s light at the end of the tunnel!
I went to Rio more than 45 years ago, while my parents were going through a divorce as well. I was rebelling against the hypocrisy at home and talked to one of the counselors there. I needed help and understanding. He told me that perhaps my parent’s divorce was my fault, that maybe I’d caused it…….this devastated me and I erected a shell around myself, became rebellious against the school and ultimately got kicked out my senior year. I’ve always wondered if there had been a REAL God fearing Christian counselor there, would my life had gone differently? I left the church for many, many MANY years. God never left me though and did bring me back to Him.
PTL for sticking it out with God but whatever happened to that horribly erroneous and insensitive counselor?
@@moonsting yes, God is wonderful. He stuck with me. The counselor continued on at Rio for many years, he and his wife. He’s retired now of course and is still working with kids somewhere in a voluntary position. I hope and pray that he found the real God and got a new heart.
@@jackiemartin4864 Amen 🙌 thank you for replying! One more Q, if I may (and only if you wish to answer...) --- How was the process of forgiving/letting go of hurt-anger?
@@moonsting that took a much longer time 🙄 But the process was interwoven with other things and learning to come to Jesus again with my hurts and wounds. It’s never an easy process I can assure you! I realized just about two years ago when I saw a Facebook page of this counselor that I had forgiven. And let it go. Out of sight, out of mind? 🤷♀️😊🙏
@@jackiemartin4864 PTL 🙌 thank you!! for your tactful honesty (via this obvious public general platform). May God continue to be our True Healer for every 💔 brokenness for His glory

Two suggestions: in the description of the video, put some context, that way we have a idea of what the theme it's about, and for the host, don't do questions with fear, or thinking the guest it's going to get offended. Don't hesitate so much about give your point of view, or when you do questions to the guest.
