I actually really liked The City of Stardust! It gave me InkHeart and Daughter of Smoke and Bones vibes! It doesn't really have a school setting though, unfortunately. All of that stuff is pretty peripheral.

I thought that the rewrite of The Bone Season was absolutely worth reading through the other books, which come out in May. I am very hopeful that with the other revised books coming out this year we get the next book next year. Hopeful.

I may read A Deadly Education by Naomi Novak, it had black cover and school setting. Unfortunately no building on the cover. I’ve been saving up my black cover books for March!

I would have picked Shadows but I threw 2 of each and 1 creation in my tbr jar and did best out of 3 draws and picked creation twice in a row lol so I had to go with creation lol 🐝
