Why the concern with trad positions (PG, SG, SF, PF, C). Let's focus on the skills on the floor (handle, shooting, vision/passing, rebounding, defense), leverage superpowers and fill gaps.
he just turned 21...and you're so certain of what his role is going to be in this league? There's plenty of guys in the league who had rough first and second years and then went on to defy expectations (the most recent example I can think of is Jalen Suggs).
Locke, to make your point valid that tank get you to the playoffs, you'd need to compate it to the teams who did not tank, and see which path to the playoffs is more secure. each year more than half of the league reaches playoffs, so if you deduct teams who decided to tank, each year many more teams reach playoffs than not
@@michaeljones7447 yes i did. maybe i forgot th numbers that showed % of playoffs apperances for teams who did not tank at all. going to rewatch it (it was whole 4 months ago)
he did not compare tanking teams to non--tanking teams he compared the success rate for teams with various level of commitment to the tank itself i did quick simulation like locke did for teams who finished 9-11 in a season (bad teams, no tank) to see if in 3 years time they made a playoff, deep run or a win, starting from 2004-2005 (like Locke did) right now i'm on 2008 season, and already: cavs made finals in 2007 (thy were 9th in 2005) Celtics won the title in 2008 (11th in 2006) Jazz made to conference finals in 2007 (9th in 2006) Lakers made to NBA finals 2008 (11th in 2005) then only team from 2005 that did finished 9-11 and failed to be in playoffs in following 3 seasons were wolves 9th 2005 , no playoffs in 2006-2008 so yes, comparing tank to no-tank, you seem to have worse track record, and on top of it, you enjoy losing on purpose :D

Kobe, Shaq and MJ never won a ring without phil Jackson and pat Riley, neither Curry without Kerr
Why yall keep tryna push alone George on us? He’s not good. He needs to be treated as the other young guys are being treated . Should be getting run in the g league. This team doesn’t need him to run point guard it’s such a silly thing they’re doing. His development is forced . It’s. Nothing natural about it
He’s been doing better as of late he’s 21 and PG is always hard to transfer to in the NBA… even if you’ve played it your entire life much less if you’ve hardly played it. That being said as Locke said he’s a better SG and should be viewed as such. But let’s not pretend he’s doomed for failure. The front office is trying to get as much run and tape as they can on keyonte to see if he’s a piece and how big of one
Hazing has never been cute or funny. Whether intentional or not it’s mean and should be discouraged. Oh, and by the way, our new broadcaster is an absolute rock star in the making. What a find she’s turning out to be.
@bradgilnert4408 a) Because Locke clearly doesn't believe Lauri being Jazzman long-term (and or being able to lead because he's not loud) b) At the moment Key is the first string point guard and thus "voice of the team"
Cody Williams obviously has skills but he shouldn't be playing at all right now. He should be eating 10,000 calories, shooting 5,000 threes and lifting weights and/or conditioning twice a day. He should be too tired and sore to play this year
Thank you Locke. Winning = Culture. Jazz DNA I believe was responsible for picking Hayward over PG, skipping over GG Jackson, Cam Whitmore etc. It's BS and time to leave it behind. Talent > Everything.
Great program today Mr. Locke. Thank you kind sir.

He is a 6th man but could be a SG if 4th worse scorer on starting lineup but never a PG starter on a good team.

Great trade for both teams is George (SG) to Pistons for Sasser (PG). Pistons could maybe add a 2nd round pick to even out trade value.
We’re not trading key
Is his defense good enough to play either?
He has the worst Defensive Rating in the league. Both he and Sexton are at the bottom of the pile.

3 years from now he'll be a third string combo guard on some other team.
My oberservation of key he wood be better suited as a bricklayer or working at McDonald’s making apple TURNOVERS
My observation is we need more fans that show kindness and respect to our owner, front office, coaches and players.
I agree Christian
Keyonte is a combo-guard, whose role and usage should be similar to someone like Tyler Herro.
