Impossible!

*EDIT added more info please read. If i remember correctly those are LT4 heads by the look of it with those rockers its a factory GM LT4 head setup. They are also aluminum and pretty easy to port to 300. They LT4 heads flow around 15% better then LT1 heads. The heads would also need a bigger intake so that might explain some other parts also. *EDIT I would also make sure those are not LT1 springs in there I know some will use LT1 springs in a 1.6 rocker and they are near their limit like that. Also this is a procharger supercharger air to air intercooled kit they are 8k msrp I believe. Its a older style headunit so it wouldnt have came with injectors or anything so I would check those for aftermarkets. These kits like to pull around 8 psi. Also the headunit for the kit looks like a p-1sc might be a d-1sc not 100% both these headunits look the same but the D will have bigger internals. Also for those interested you can see around 60-55% more power at 8 psi with these. And these are hilical gear so they might not be as loud as other superchargers. *EDIT Seems like the consensus is its actually straight cut not hilical my mistake sorry.
We gotta find a way to get him to see this
For reference im not saying this is a procharger just stating the kit is made by procharger
Also I would check the ECM these old ones were untunable and normally will require you to run a LS style ignition to tune properly also the A/C normally are custom made for these kits so I would inspect those.
It’s definitely straight cut supercharger gears helical gears are way quieter.
@@blownbird355 possible maybe its just video just dont seem very loud to me but im watching on a phone so you know how that goes
I am 39 years old, so when I was a kid these C4s were the pinnacle of American muscle cars (along with the Viper of course). I was 18 years old when the first FnF came out and at the time I owned a 1994 Eddie Bauer Ford Explorer with a Fox body 302 swap with aluminum heads, an Explorer Express Eaton M90 full supercharger kit (that cost me around $5,000 new back in 2001), it had a SkyJacker 6" suspension lift with 33X12.50 TSL Thornbirds, but it was only RWD, so it was all for looks. I had a custom made exhaust with Ford Racing shorty headers, and 3" true duals back to 58" DynoMax glasspacks with 12" chrome slant cut tips. It was pretty quick, and when it was tuned it made 408 HP at the rear wheels. It was built by a real good friend of mine who owned a new machine shop in town and all he asked for in return was for me to give him some cheap advertising through my parents company. I did and I loved that truck, but I started seeing more and more Hondas around and I hated them at first because it seemed like everyone who had an automatic Civic with a straight pipe made of flexi-pipe wanted to race and I would dust all of them, until I raced a Puerto Rican dude in an EF Civic hatchback and he shot past me (with the help of nitrous) and I knew that I had to have one. I moved back to Pennsylvania from Florida that year and I traded my Exploder for a 1992 Acura Integra GS. I loved that car. I mean I really loved that car. The Integra was my 3rd (technically 5th) car, and I've been addicted to imports ever since.
Alex, the whole point of that style of gas can is that a funnel isn't needed. The put the nozzle in with the plastic button facing down. Hook the button on the edge of the filler and push the tank down. It will open the valve and allow fuel to flow. One 1 person needed
Peter is an amazing addition.
Hands down best duo
Keep up the great work guys.
Peter is the Green Hornet's Kato. You should dress up like that for halloween. It'll be hilarious... Plus dig up a Black Beauty to tool around Chicago in...
He really is. Alex never needed a second person to bounce off of, he is entertaining enough himself, but Peter is such a good fit, he works perfectly with Alex.
Agree, you guys and your camera guy are a dream team. Look forward to your next video....
True
I forgot Alex used to be solo! Him and Peter gel so well together, that it just feels like it's always been that way. Lol Definitely a good duo.
FYI- the C4 corvette fuel sending unit comes out of the fuel door. You just take the door off and there is the fuel pump. I would highly suspect bad fuel injectors from experience. Also, the wheel liners come off for better access to the sides of the engine. I love this car! This thing is SIIICK!!!!!!
I've been daily driving a heavily modified '95 LT1 6 speed C4 and have encountered a bunch of the quirks of these cars myself. Also definitely have to admit what a steal of a deal this car is. I cannot believe the condition its in with the parts it came with, this was an incredible buy. Definitely did a good job finding and buying this car!
- As for the body kit that is on it, I'm not 100% sure if they are supposed to be labeled or not, but that definitely is a Greenwood style C4 kit with the wing and the door extensions etc.
- The fuel sending unit/fuel pump is super easy to replace on these, you just need to remove the gas lid and surrounding rubber boot inside of the hole to get access to the unit itself (when replacing the sending unit, get a new rubber boot surround too as you will rip the old one without a doubt, they tear like paper with how brittle they get with age, especially if its the original one), no dropping the tank and whatnot with C4s (dropping the tank is actually kind of a larger job, the whole rear bumper has to come off as well as a small bolt-on rear section of the frame that holds the tank). Sending unit can be replaced with a stainless steel unit too.
- As for the heads/rockers, the rockers look like part of a GM Performance kit that is super common with C4s. The casting number on the heads look to be a factory LT4 head which came on all factory stick shift 1996 Corvettes as well as the stick shift special edition cars (i.e. Collector's edition, Grand Sport, etc). There is a camshaft that compliments that kit too which goes by the name of "LT4 Hotcam" which is a really nice mild street cam that can sound pretty lumpy with the right exhaust, too hard to tell if your car has it or not, it has the rest of the parts of the kit though so wouldn't be surprised. And with the LT4 heads, it has to have the LT4 intake, (which is odd cause LT4 intakes are painted red from the factory, unless someone repainted this one), the LT1/LT4 heads/intakes are not interchangeable with each other, they have to match, but both setups will bolt to the same block as that didn't change. LT4 cars came from the factory with those exact same looking 1.6 silver Chevy Perf. rockers, and with the different heads/intake/rockers/etc, they made 30 more HP from the factory than LT1 cars. So you already have "upgraded" heads and intake manifold, all be it still factory equipment, its still better than LT1 factory stuff. But the heads definitely look like they have been off, you can see the head gaskets through the pushrod holes and on camera briefly looking at them they look pretty new to me. Those fuel rails look like factory fuel rails and the injectors also look to be stock too but not 100% sure.
- Not sure which year they did the crossover, either 1992 or 1993, but for the trans it either has a 700R4 for the older models or a 4L60e for the newer ones.
- Also for the brake light thats on the dashboard, mess around with the e-brake more, that might still be the parking brake light (small differences between your 93 and my 95, especially with the dashboard and cluster so it might not translate over 100% with my info, still worth a try), sometimes you have to really lift all the way up when you set it back down after releasing it to get the light to go off, mine does it occasionally, not a big deal (the light sometimes stays on even if its physically completely released and not holding the rear brakes anymore). I don't think that light is for a brake system fault, ABS related lights will be on the center little screen. There might be a brake pressure light on the main cluster but it doesn't look like its lit in your car. And for the brakes being pretty stiff, mine is kind of the same way, I've gotten used to it, thats kind of how C4s are normally it seems.
- Supposedly spark plugs are easier to do on these from the bottom, I have all the EGR tubes deleted from my car so it makes plugs much easier to do, even from up top in the engine bay (and also cleans up the engine bay really nice, and also really easy to delete this system).
- Not sure if you will deal with this or not, but a huge conversation topic with LT1/4 C4s is engine temps and how hot these run. Just to put into perspective, LT1/4 cars have 2 electric fans that operate together either on low or high speed, low speed fans come on at 228 F and high speed fans come on at 238 F. These cars are designed this way from the factory and its nothing to be alarmed about, especially in stop and go traffic since C4s dont have grilles and are mouth breathers with virtually no airflow at a stand still. You should really only be worried if you are seeing 240 F +. Of course the cooler the car runs the better. Bleeding coolant can be a little time consuming with these, there should be a bleeder screw on the top of the thermostat neck which helps with bleeding air.
- As for those targa top pieces, the targa top mounts on the car itself look perfectly fine, it just looks like someone left the rear mounting hardware from the top that was on it attached to the car. The two rear mounting bolts completely come out on these where as the two front bolts are captured in that little plastic housing towards the front and can be accessed/tightened down with the top with small little access holes hidden around/behind the sun visors. You have all the hardware for the top, should just be able to get another targa top with your existing hardware and you'll have a roof again! Be careful though, certain targa tops fit different years, the earlier C4s had slightly different frontward mounting brackets, luckily since you have a later one those are more common to find, I believe the years for the style targa top you need is from 1989-1996 and will fit your 1993 just fine. Also all 4 mounting bolts are torx head bits, believe its a T45 torx bit.
Hopefully any of this information helps, I apologize for the long read and I don't mean to be a snob or act like an expert with C4s, just thought I'd help out where I can. Looking forward to seeing more videos on this car! Good luck!

@@nnwumeh1 Haha, I appreciate it! I try, I've always liked reading up on small little weird stuff like this. I definitely don't know everything thats for sure!
It is a 700R4 transmission. They changed to the 4L60e in 1994.
@@8bert9 Thats what I figured, I knew it was somewhere around that time in the early to mid 90s, thanks for the clarification, I'm not big on autos in general👍
@@_bradne You know a lot about vettes. I have owned 2 94 Z28 6 speeds and still own one now and I do all my own work and I also think the LT1 is a great engine. I had to look up what automatic transmission the 93 vette had because and I figured it had the "new" 4L60e because the C4's got the "new" LT1 V8 in 92. Z28's didn't get LT1's until 93.
LT-1's are notorious for developing an ignition miss from the optispark timing. The timing system is prone to getting dirty and fails to recognize the crank position. Once the engine compartment gets that dirty it's worth a disassembly and cleaning.
My 95 had a lot of performance work on it back in the day and then started missing like yours. Finally traced to the OptiSpark.
It's worth looking into.

I suspect she's needing a little lubrication.
Not a procharger. It's the predecessor "paxton" by shelby.. sn93 probably
We bought a similar 1996 manual transmission c4 for $2750. Was sitting with bad hatch seal and bad fuel pump fuse as it turned out. Fuel pump seized, seller replaced but never got it going right. Fuse was still making just slight contact after burning from old pump (kinda like tapping a light bulb to get a little more before it is no good). car filled with water. Icky. Even threw seats away. Been driving it for 2 years now. Manual transmission. What a deal for the $$$ these c4's are!
Vett is my favorite car since I was a kid. This is like a dream for me. Awesome stuff you put out. Loved this one thank you for saving one.
the ground effects and wing is a conversion kit from the Dream Vette Conversion. My father had an 84 with the exact same ground effects and rear wing. and his also had 80s wood grain interior too.
I'm sure you guys researched it already, but the passive keyless is just that. With that feature you could have the vette keyfob in your pocket and the doors unlock and lock when you reach the right distance. Those are the LT4 heads, I'm betting they got a cam running the 1.6 rockers, pretty much you have a GM parts house build most likely.
Doesn't look like it has the LT4 intake manifold, unless it has the later model LT1 version.
Yep, could just be GM LT4 roller rockers, 1.6 on the LT1 heads
@@kevinmoore4570 The casting # correlates to being LT4 heads though.
I agree with Vette Over Yonder, looks like you might have a GM performance parts build on your hands, which is a solid foundation for an LT1.
What a crazy find! Borla exhaust is around $1800, new bilstein struts $450, supercharger around $4500, painted body kit around $1500. Absolutely wild!
Just like you said, I can’t wait for the paint correction/full resto-detail video with this one 😍 this vette is going to be unbelievably on point after that TLC. With that supercharger, this is going to definitely be a fun one when the drivetrain is all resto’d haha really excited for this project, and can’t wait to see the next video 😎🙌🏼
Stay awesome guys ✊🏼
To remove a locking gas cap without a key the easiest way that I found is a large pair of channel locks squeeze the outside edges and unscrew
I have a 94 C4 vette in almost new-looking condition that runs as good as it looks. The Targa top is poorly designed on these cars needing a screwdriver to remove. The electronics on the car are failing and it’s hard to get someone to work on them because of the lack of parts. But, to me, these are the most attractive Corvettes ever! They are large in and out and very comfortable. I’m an old fart now and as low as these cars are, they are a chore to get in ir out of. My present vette is my second, as I bought one when new in 94.
You and Peter rocked it on this one Alex! This vette is amazing, track down all those ground wires and get them in a ground distribution block, or just junk the aftermarket stereo and wiring. Looking forward to this build/fix up series. Keep up the great content guys!
Yes them weird lights suggests a bad ground somewhere.
Also possibly the electric Ariel maybe be shorting to ground when turned on..

You have hit your stride my friend. 80s, 90s rides, obtainable and resonate with your audience average age I'll bet. Keep it up!
Great video. I had never driven a C4 until this past Friday. A friend has a 95 Indy 500 Pace Car convertible version (I believe they may not have produce coupe versions, but Corvette aficionados can speak to that) with 6k miles... that's right, 6,000 miles. It recently won an Award of Excellence at our Concours in the Race Car class. It runs and drives very well once it's warmed up. Until then, it is difficult to drive. After it's warm, it is a sheer pleasure to drive and one helluva lot of fun. I've got a pic of me in it, but since it's not my car, I will not post it.
Vettes from this era had Bilsteins as original shocks.

@4:25... I think that stacked rubber was to support the weight of the fuel pressure gauge. That spindly brass tube was probably vibrating and snapping off, resulting in fuel spraying on headers, which is bad. ;)
Randy really came through! So happy you guys will collaborate.
I just know that Peter said "that's what she said", after Alex said about the trunk struts "that'll smack you in the face if you're not ready for it". Too bad you guys edited it out

Yes! Thanks for watching!
As an LT1 owner... Spark plugs are a nightmare!!! I have to take off my headers everytime I want to do plugs 5 and 6. The primaries go right over them. A combination of working on top and bottom of the car will get them off. Also.... Once you take out the alternator it's a little easier to work on things. Good luck and I'm looking forward to the rest of the videos on this car. Also... Your misfire could be the terrible optispark.

Absolutely love this series! Bringing back lots of memories for me. My first corvette was a 93 and I did all the repairs and maintenance on it myself. I can tell you from experience that changing the plugs was one of the most frustrating jobs I’ve ever done on any vehicle I’ve owned. The added supercharger parts will make it even worse. Also I’m sure you’ve heard about the opti spark distributor and the horrors surrounding it. Be glad the AC works, 93 was the last year for R-12 refrigerant.
Alex, I live an hour and a half from you. Hit me up if I can be of assistance with this build
If it is hard to start, especially when at operating temp. and misfires worse under load be sure to check the optispark. I have replaced 4 through the years on 2 different 94 Z28's.
If I remember correctly didn't the problem come from the water pump leaking water down onto the Opti-spark.
R-12 is still legal for vehicles I believe might be wrong though been a while since I went to hvac school
It is cold, rainy and dreary outside here in Sweden - a perfect day to watch some awesome Legit Street Cars video!!!
I've owned a couple LT1/LT4 cars, and the "Distributor" on the front of the engine is called an "Opti-Spark" and they are plagued with issues. I daily drove one for a couple years and I replaced the opti 4 times in those two years. Definitely a good idea to look into how to replace those, and make sure its functioning correctly. Not saying its your issue, but it's something to look at. Might have more going on with all that MSD stuff.
They vented them at some point which improved reliability. I've owned my 95 Vette over 18 years now and it's still has the same opti from when I bought the car.
Miracles happen everyday.
Lucky dog!! It needs more that 2 gallons in it! Disconnecting the fuel pressure regulator is a common mod on C-4s. IDK if it really works, but it is super common.
I just caught your last show and I've never heard of yall but I enjoyed the show. What a hell of a deal you got on this car. Out of gas, who would of thought it? I subscribed and can't wait to see how the vette does. Congrats on the great deal. Being at the right place at the right time.
I will be following this series as i am doing the same thing on a 96 lt4 car rescued from a farm field. Very happy for you, gotta love a c4
Thank CARB in California for those new gas cans. Check out Eckler's Corvette. They might sell that body kit. That looks like a Vortech and it might be low on oil. Those 1.6 rockers don't need dual springs. I had them in my '97 WS6. Those look like GMPP's. Have fun with those spark plugs. Welcome to my LT1 world. Change ot that Opti-Spark if it's factory. I had the MSD on mine.
Sorry, it is "People's Socialist Republik of Kalyfornystan".

You guys are awesome
It's great to see when you two get excited and happy - Well done 👍👌
Watched the whole Ruby rebuild, with a grin on my face almost the whole time, and I never owned a Vette. So many levels on which to 'review' it.. 1) If you're simply someone who takes things apart, it's a 4-hour thriller mystery with awesome professional editing, a new suspect revealed before every commercial (even with RUclips Premium, but not unbearable). 2) If you're an aspiring RUclipsr, study and copy every technique: best lighting and details shots I've ever seen; humor; fluff only added when it helps. 3) I presume if you're a C4 Vette DIY-er, it's a huge source of details. 4) For any DIY car person, I learned a ton, from tools I should be getting... all the way up to the inspiration (courage) to rip anything out and go for it. The ceramic coat stuff especially helped to see start to finish. And I loved seeing a pro go through the exact same hell as the rest of us to get a single fastener off or on: multiple tools, multiple angles, multiple sprays, and fingers. Got a kick out of how hard a lesson it is to learn, even for pros, that you must always swap first (the computer), when merely swapping is an option... instead of removing/repairing. Great work.
Love the sound of the old school supercharged sbc. Lloyd Elliot was a big cylinder head/ intake rework guy in the LT1 community, If those aren’t AFR heads they would be his. Also, I’m surprised you didn’t have trouble with the Factory GM VATS security system. I’m guessing it was disabled when the supercharger was installed. Another thing is the opti-spark distributor. Iirc if it’s a early model LT, they were none vacuum vented and had small pin size holes that “sufficed” for ventilation, but this would allow moisture to get inside and Yea you understand. Later models were manifold vacuum assisted, and last a lot longer when sealed correctly. Guys in the community had more troubles when they paired the msd opti and supporting msd coil into the mix. Some people even did the full on LTCC swap that used the optical sensor from the opti and removes the cap and rotor out the mix but used ls1 coil near plug for ignition. The opti is a Good design in terms of packaging, but horrible placement directly under the cam driven water pump.
My Thoughts exactly was the Opti -Spark distributor.. I’ve cursed for many hours back in the day replacing them. Nightmare, but those spark plugs look worse.
That's just how these blowers sound. I've owned multiples from all major brands. Be sure change that blower oil tho!
Least favorite, definitely the C8
My personal favorite C5 I love pop up headlights and the body lines are just amazing
I think the pop up headlights were a real weak spot of the C5. In addition to the aerodynamic drag, the stock headlights had terrible illumination. They really need an LED replacement, like Sharp Light Innovations offers. I really love their fixed, clear cover headlight solution, if not its price tag.
I’m a c-7 fan myself if not than a chrome bumper vette c-3 or c-2 if funds allow it
@@trentdawg2832 C5s have the best price point/value IMHO. C4s are a little cheaper, but much more problematic. "Affordable" C3s are trashed, and the C7 and C8 are hella expensive. The C5 already has an LS, and it can be modified or swapped for more power. The chassis is pretty similar to the C6 and C7.

When I worked at Autozone, as a joke we ranked our batteries as such: DuraLast, Gold and Platinum for your daily, ValuCraft for if you wanna sell it, and EconoCraft for if you needed it sold yesterday
Good call on the C5 fuel system. The 97-98 were the return system. I pushed my 99 Corvette (twin turbo) on a retrofit 97-98 stock lines/regulator/rails setup to over 900 RWHP. Those OE return systems were awesome.
On the car in the video, the heads are OE LT4 casting numbers. Rails are stock 92-93 rails. What's interesting is that the OE 92-93 intake manifold is sitting on those heads. The LT4 heads had raised runners and shouldn't match up with that LT1 manifold. Don't be surprised if there's an adapter plate spacing the manifold. I'd be surprised if someone welded and cut the manifold to fit but stranger things have happened.
Great buy on the car. It'll be a lot of fun once sorted out.
Beautiful car 😍🚗
Please be gentle with that beauty and bring it back to glory.
Not gonna miss any of this series now.
*Can't wait to see this Corvette restoration, it will be epic*
Long live the LT1! My 1997 LT1 Camaro makes about 600hp at the crank with a 20+ year old Vortech V1-S at only 7psi. Ported stock heads, forged rods and pistons, small cam and running on Holley Terminator X with an LS ignition system.
Bought mine with 56k and a hole where the #7 piston ringland was supposed to be. Modernized the blower kit by ditching the FMU, the spark retard box and the auxiliary pump. Replaced that old shit with a larger in tank pump, larger injectors and the Holley Terminator X. Ditched the optispark for a 24x ignition system. Don't need to retard the stock calibration when you make your own lol.
Most of those old blowers (mine included" had straight cut gears and are noisey. But don't rule bearings out either.
92-93 LT1's are speed density from the factory. They actually have a unique intake manifold compared to 94-97 as well. Due to fuel line routing. And factory pressure with the vacuum line off the regulator is 43.5psi.
And those casting numbers on the heads come back as LT4 heads. Which are a nice upgrade to an LT1. Check intake port alignment because true LT4 heads need an LT4 intake to line up properly.
This one needs a bump up.
Definitely not missing a single episode.... what a fun project!

I just found your channel and I really enjoyed this video(all in this c4 series). You guys have the right amount of comedy, skill and unscripted energy. Thank you.
Those are LT4 heads. They're a great improvement over the LT1
I didn't want the video to end! It went by so fast.
My eyes blew up when it started!
Score!
Great automotive content
p-1sc super/pro charger, Summit Racing Vortec Cylinder Heads SUM-151124, 39 lbs./hr FAST Precision-Flow Fuel Injectors
This is the list of stuff you were wondering lol, only had to do a little research, not sure if it is the exact super charger, good luck though!!
Looks like the same procharger kit on my 92 c4.
If the unit has an oil drain to the pan its likely a p600b. Newer units are self contained
You and Peter make even better content together! Keep up the great work. I’m always looking forward to another video.
3300 !! Congrats man - looking forward to you bringing this diamond back to life
I reckon I got traded in with hardly any fuel in it and having not been on the road for a few years then some employee too it out for a jolly and it ran out of fuel and they couldn't get the filler cap off so it went to auction as it was and you guys came along and got a an absolute bargain.
So cool
The story on the Vette is similar to the 300zx (z31) I had a few years ago. Guy couldn't get it running but it turned out to be bad gas. After a bit of deal foam, new fuel pump, fuel filter, and plugs. It ran like a champ. Now I don't fault the guy as he bought it to learn but had to sell it because of other bills where piling up
Hi guys! Great find! Great collaboration with Randy to get it. Nice to be rewarded with a great car. You guys make a solud team and there's amazing synergy between you and Peter. Great editing by Max as well. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to the next episode. Well done! Cheers!
I love how you did a continuance from the last video, kinda like a tv show lol. I like this quite a lot! it would be bad ass to give this thing a veryyyyy good professional detailing inside and out with plenty of before and after pictures. Engine may, leather, carpet etc.
Never mind you mentioned a detail video just now in the video.
Yes this ^^.
That 'vette will detail nice..
Pretty sure the LT1 was speed density until 1994, I think you've got LT4 heads, some generic 42lb fuel injectors, and I'm going to guess a Procharger (because it doesn't look like any of the Vortechs I saw back in the day). I bet you'll also find a ported throttle body and an LT4 Hot Cam (not ideal, but it worked) given the GMPP heads and rockers (and that idle)...
It's great to see this old Corvette getting a new home and some tlc.
Those rockers came in the GM LT1/4 hot cam kit. The cam was 218/228 @ .050", came with crane "GM" 1.6 rockers and a better single valve spring.
I love Peter's energy
I'm so jealous, you got a great score on this one. You know it's probably some of that good Karma you have been earning with the giveaways and helping other humans and stuff like that so keep it up and like I said before you are going to need a bigger shop. Nice to see Max in the background, he could be like a where's Waldo kind of deal where people leave a time stamp when Max makes an appearance 15:40. Lucky, no, you earned this one. Good Job. 🚕🚓
I definitely want to see this come back to life!!! Absolutely awsome car for what it is. 👌
Injectors are gunked and the filter is stopped up from water in the fuel. It common because of the design of the gas cap and you can see all the rust in the tank neck and tank. Thats a Procharger PS1C kit. The rockers are GMPP and were part of the LT4 Hot Cam kit. Heads are regular old LT1 castings. 93 is speed density injection peroid.
Dude, Alex, I’m jealous. You can’t be any luckier. I’m looking forward to the day I get my Vette back running. That Vortec supercharger is definitely worth getting rebuilt.
Such an underrated vett. One of my favorite!!! Good luck with the C4.
Wow I can't believe it runs that well! Sure there's some issue to straighten out but the thing actually ran and drove. That's a great start! Hope you can find a used Targa top for it, shame that it was missing that.
Peter is a great addition to the channel.
Did you hear about the 4 Cartubers stranded on a deserted island with just one car? They all made a comfortable living.
I looked up the part number for the super charger, It was very expensive I know you probably know that already I was amazed, it looked like it was priced more than the car was worth.
Hell yes! Thank you Alex for making another production, 👏🎉🎂
I’ve never clicked on a video so fast in my life
Lol me too!
Peter is a true treasure. For the channel and as a friend. Great videos keep it going 👍
C4 is a great driver/mechanic car. So nice to work on with the clamshell.
Back in the days those cars. Were known to have mad torque. Must be wicked with a supercharger.
Always enjoy my Saturday mornings with your show Alex. You and Peter are a great squad. This car is a great score. Going to enjoy it.
Another great video and great start to a new series of videos, Alex keep this content coming!! Peter is the perfect sidekick, great team guys, look forward every Saturday for your new content.
That cooler toward the front is an oil cooler for the engine. The lines for that should run to an adapter at the oil filter. The engine is a hydraulic roller so once the rockers are set you don't have to adjust again and again. Certainly can't hurt to double check their work!
I had the same luck last year on a 1996 LT4/6 speed . Was listed on copart as non running mechanical damage with 178k miles and clean title. I did a carfax and it was a one owner car with service records and no wrecks. I figured bad motor worse case scenario. Won the auction for 3450.00 !! I think the mileage and mechanical damage scared people away. When it got here and we unloaded it from the trailer I could smell the bad fuel lol . Cleaned out the fuel tank, replaced the fuel pump ,filter and regulator and it cranked right up !! I found old registrations in the glove box and called the original owner who was an older lady named Doris . We talked for over an hour, she bought it brand new and used it to commute from California to Arizona everyday hence the high mileage. Car was garaged kept its entire life and was in pristine condition ,I'm just changing out some dried up window seals and new tires and battery. I asked her how long it had been since it ran and she said it had always ran up until the tow truck came to pick it up and it wouldn't start , how lucky for me lol Wish I could send you a picture, the car is practically new ! Looking forward to seeing yours after a good detail, congrats !
That hammer is a fix it all tool that ever mechanic should have.
Very cool Alex!! Congrats…love that color…gonna be a fun project
Legit, love the work that you and Peter do and it's always great seeing old iron rescued. That said you and Peter just need to be more safe and perhaps tow these vehicles to your shop instead of dealing with potential road side repairs. The quality of drivers today is horrendous and you really don't want some distracted driver smashing into you both on the side of the road - stay safe!
Ok Karen!

The OP does have a point.
I used to watch ALOT of car crash videos on YT.
It's amazing how many people look at a breakdown/ copcar doing a routine check by the side of the road and not paying attention to what's in front of them..
@@stuartd9741 I have a point too, Uncle Karen, & I gave it to your wife last night. x
Love this new series Alex! Makes me wish we could do anything even remotely close to this in Europe! I'm super jealous!
This is the content we want!!!! Bring it back to glory!!!!!!!!!
Wow! Excited to see this project and the updates on it
Damn you need to call that hammer Mjolnir, after Thor's lol. Also, everyone rightfully comments on what a great addition Peter has been to the channel but let's not forget the unsung hero as well, Max! Doing all the great editing and all the behind-the-scenes work! 👍
Yes was Max around when Alex was in his garage..can't remember...
@@stuartd9741 ruclips.net/video/YMtPeaXns6k/видео.html Here's the video where Max is officially introduced to the channel. They mentioned he's been editing for Alex for about 6 months prior to that video.

What would a LSC video be without you ending up dead on the side of the road? 😂😂 Love your videos and all of your content!!
...or in the median?
