The roof and the center console where you touch were the worst on my corvette. Every time you moved the plastic would creek. My interior was tan and I turned it into black so every panel was removed. Every panel that has plastic on plastic contact or metal is now all covered with felt or foam tape.

I had a base 2005 with a 4 speed auto. At the time, this was the highest HP debut for a new model Vette at 400 pulling ponies. I then picked up a 2008 Vette 4lt with the ls3 and 6 speed auto. Outside of both being gen 6, that's where the comparisons end. The ls3 and all the extras with the 4lt package makes and unbelievable owners and drivers experience! If I had a garage, I would have just removed my lights and shipped them out for lens replacement. Who knows, that may still happen, but I went with aftermarket, and the fitment sucks. For seat repair, I just bought some used seats online and had them shipped on a pallet. Not cheap, but it worked. We are in the compromise years now with these cars. See if you can find one super low mileage and garage kept. They have great bones, but the headlights, weather-stripping, seat surfaces, etc.. All that stuff hates to have been used.

The C6 is the best looking Corvette. Way better than the C7 and C8 with their "cluttered" rear ends, and swoopy bodies. It's a classic that will never go out of style.
