@Emo Human nothing to do with whether or not he's intoxicated. the vocal pacing in these songs were just REALLY not written to be performed live. it's written to be performed in a recording stduio where you can punch in each line. there is literally no place for a human to be able to breath inbetween most of these lines.
Gerard got way better during the Danger Days era and has had time off for years to train his voice now so I assume he'll be much better than he is here on their reunion shows. But even then a lot of the performances on Life on the Murder Scene were fun to listen to just because they never edited the performances. Minus obviously mixing the recordings to make them sound more balanced, everything was kept the exact way it sounded live which makes me respect them so much and I love those live recordings from the Life on the Murder Scene CD.
