- Retired CIA agent Matt Hunter (Chuck Norris) is forced back into the business when a villain from his past re-emerges. Soviet Mikhail Rostov (Richard Lynch), a terrorist whom Matt once caught, wants to exact revenge. After failing to find Matt at his Everglades home, Rostov and his army of Communist guerrillas begin carrying out terrorist acts all over southern Florida. Gotta complete the Norris anti-terrorist one two punch with Delta Force from a year later. The great Robert Forster as a middle easter bad guy cannot be missed.

This is the absolute best Chuck Norris movie!
It's also Canon films greatest work.
Saw this at a small theater in NY when I was 13 years old (yep, they let me in) for the late night showing.
It was absolutely packed and the crowd went nuts every time Chuck shot or blew someone up!

the final massive shoot out is nothing but spending half of the budget to get insane fire fight with tanks, with bazookas and insane amount of blanks fired. It makes no sense but boy, do I love every moment of the silliness of this.

Great reaction, brother. This one is an all-time favourite of mine. It walks the line between intentional and unintentional hilarity, and between competent and incompetent, in ways that never fail to entertain. Cannon threw a lot more money around than usual here, but it's still Cannon as fuck, you know?

I saw this theatrically in 1985 and it was, is and always will be my favorite Chuck Norris movie. Richard Lynch is awesome as Rostov, best death ever!👍

Lynch former Marine in late 50s, face got burned after he set himself on fire during a lsd trip in early 70s , because of his scars generally played bad guys but had alot of formal acting training in nyc ,
This is the only movie, to my knowledge where the villain has nightmares about the hero coming to kill him. 😂

I think this is Chuck Norris best movie followed by the Missing In Action trilogy.

There is a scene in Braveheart where one of the traitors has a fever dream nightmare about William Wallace coming to get him, wakes up, and then Wallace busts into his room for real, his nightmare coming true lol.

You would too if chuck was coming for you gonna kill you lol I love the scene where he pins the guy with a knife in his wrapped up hand that’s hurt to this table or something like that and he’s trying to find out what’s coming next and where the main bad guy is and the woman in the room goes and gets this big guy and he comes in there and chuck tells him if he comes back in there he’s gonna hit with so many rights he will be wishing for a left and he goes and gets another guy and chuck just kicks the guy so hard he’s knocked out of the room and gives the pin guy a grenade that he takes the pin out of and puts in his good hand and that guy says you’re crazy dude and the grenade ends up being thrown out the window into that guys car 😂 chuck norris movies are so fun to watch for me cause they are top notch action movies
This is my favourite Chuck Norris movie, you must see Delta Force 1 and 2 and Hellbound all from the great Norris.

I have this on blu ray, it is the definition of 80's Cannon Films lol. There is a loose sequel to this called Avenging Force with Matt Hunter returning except he's played by Michael Dudikoff instead of Chuck Norris. Norris was originally going to star in it but did Delta Force instead, there are teaser posters out there with Chuck Norris's name at the top before he was recast but you'll have to google it to see.

Cool thing about this movie is it has the major bad guy antagonist from Delta force 2 in it I loved Chuck Norris movies he was always putting guys in his films and using them later in other work like another movie or in his show walker texas Ranger. I’ve probably seen about every movie he made loved the scene in Delta force 2 they are on the plane and the guy is trying to bribe them and he says let me go so chuck says ok and shoves him out the airplane with no chute and then goes and gets him and pulls his chute 😂

*Breaker! Breaker!* 1977 was his first lead role
*Silent Rage* 1982 has one of his creepiest villain opponents in it.

Cannon really didn't know what to do with Norris. Very little martial arts scenes in his Cannon Films.

And I like Day Of The Dead I just couldn't think of much to say. I think it's perfect, but I'd love to see Bub on the beach there with them at the end. I just always thought that was funny.
Only movie to end with a rocket launcher fight? Death wish 3 (sorry spoilers.....) was rocket launcher death, but not duel.

I watched this for sure as a kid, but truly, Without a doubt the best Chuck Norris movie is 1983 Lone Wolf McQuade. Even Roger Ebert gave it a fresh review. If you want the premier Chuck, do this. What will it take?
