@@Verymusician193I think you guys are confusing 29 seconds per frame with 29 frames per seconds ahahahahahah. To render the same amount of frames that your PC can generate in a second (if it runs at 60fps) it is going to take exactly 29 minutes.

By the way, 10kHz literally means 10,000 redstone ticks per second, instead of 20. That's a 500x improvement, or a 49,900% increase. That means out 29 seconds per frame (i.e. 0.034 fps) becomes 17.2 fps. That's a tremendous improvement. Also, the game in the video runs from around 1:26 to 5:28. That means it runs for about 302 seconds, or 18,120 frames. Rendering that at 29 seconds per frame would take a toublesome 52,500 seconds, which is about 6 real life days and 2 hours.
That's not necessarily accurate. The given architecture makes somewhat sense as the bottleneck here is limited to the processing speed and Minecraft itself.

The actual demo runs for 4 mins 13s and it looks like about 12 fps. That would be 3036 frames to render at 29 seconds per frame, which gives us around 24h and 27mins to render. I'm guessing he acted out what he wanted to show us in his emulator, recorded his inputs and used a script to move his Minecraft avatar to show us on his Minecraft screen. Otherwise it would be pretty much impossible to act out normally. It's still impressive in my opinion, since it is actually playable in Minecraft

as a computer science student who just built my first processor using VHDL... I'm impressed at the amount of free time you have, specially to deal with Redstone's transmission delay, I imagine your clock time is very slow because of that
You can actually notice texture pixels snap to the nearest vertex due to lack of floating points The same effect happens on ps1 due to the fact that ps1 is ALSO missing fpu and z buffer Really cool!
