Went to your website looking for the hand massager and it’s not there. Boooo
Me too! Would love to see those re-stocked!
I laughed when you said do the stretch before you get out of bed in the morning. 😂 in reality it will be after going to the bathroom for seniors 😅 thank you guys
So true! 😊
I also do my stretches in bed before I get up, so eliminate falling and low impact on my body and also on my sofa, along with doing it at other times of the day. It is good to get the system moving before getting out of bed.
😂😂
If you can get out of bed without stretching!
Getting out of bed IS a stretch! 😅
Thank you for the helpful tips. I miss Bob. Hope he is doing well. Send him regards.❤
Miss Bob. I pray he’s doing well. Thank you for your tips.
I’m 73 and most of these things I can do except reach up the middle of my back when bathing, even with the back scrubber, but I’m working on it. I did trip on a rug the other day from not picking up my feet. I do stretches in bed, especially the hips. Awareness of these very subtle changes is key. Keep moving. Thank you👍🙏🏻👵
Sounds like you're on the right track. The exercises they show here are awesome to work on.
Hiya Bob! Hope you're doing well. Brad and Mike are doing great but I miss ya bud!
Practiced yoga since 1979, always walked, ran, biked, skated, danced since I was a child. Just keep doing what you're doing and you'll be okay. Or so I thought. Sometime between 75 and 78 old age hit me hard. Now everything I used to do with ease is incredibly painful. Will certainly try what you recommend but I don't have much hope anymore. I just try not to hobble too much in public because it is embarrassing to be so limited in motion.
I hear ya. Things hurt a bit more as age increases but stay hopeful and optimistic. It’s okay to hobble.
Was doing good until early 40s and developed viral rheumatoid arthritis. Steroids got me walking again but nothing was ever the same. I do the best I can. Some stuff just plain hurts too much. Its a bummer but do what you can even if it hurts some, just don't overdo. Know your body.
🥰be kind to yourself. I get soreness with even a small amount of exercise sometimes. It is frustrating. I am over ten years younger.
it's happening to me too....age 79, female
No idea what brought it on....will just try to "work it out"
After years of joint pain, I started taking turmeric every morning and was amazed. I took it occasionally for pain with minimal results in the past.
Thank you Guys. At 75 I do most of my stretches each morning before getting out of bed. I’ve just added a very important one. Best regards to Bob too. 👍👍
Good stuff fellas. One thing I have found helpful... While walking my daily 10,000 steps I wear mechanic gloves and knee braces, just in case I take a tumble. The mechanics gloves are light but strong and will protect your hands from concrete rash in case you fall and the knee brace is a compression sleeve with patella gel pad, it gives great support plus if you tale a fall it will protect our knees from direct contact with concrete.
Terrific channel fellas.
Love your ideas…..Houston will try.
Thank you for these. At 69, i have a lot of these challenges. It’s remarkable how we make adjustments and don’t even notice we are not moving as we used to. I started lifting my leg up to my knee as I was putting my shoes on. didn’t notice for a long time I was doing this. for the shoulder stretch, a physical therapist taught me to use a scarf instead of a belt.
I have a friend who developed foot drop at a young age. The doctors thought it was a neurological problem. so as you say, see a doctor to get checked out if this happens to you. she used to fall quite a lot.
@@lunasky5635 - Regarding your comment when people find they are falling a lot can, perhaps, mean there is some neurological problem, that is VERY true! A good friend of mine used to fall a lot! It went on for years. She fell again last Summer (2023) and was taken by medics to the hospital. After a few days, she was about to be discharged when she suddenly lost the use of a leg. An MRI was done and three tumors were found. So, all those years of falls were due to, unfortunately, brain cancer.
Those are brilliant suggestions. Thanks for sharing.
I send all my patients to your site for therapy.
Me too!!!! :)
I had a frozen shoulder about 20 years ago my PT had me using a towel @11:59. Drying my back that way ever since has kept that at bay, knock on wood. 😊
Perfect timing guys!! Coming out of winter hibernation and creaky as heck 😂😂😂😂
Wonderful five stretches! Just what my older body needs. Thank you so much!
U r exactly right on again. Difficult to put coat on. Shoulder so sore. I really feel sooo old. I am 74. Please help me keep nimble. ❤❤
You got this!
Like many other viewers, I’ve done yoga my whole life, hiked, treadmill, etc. Processed foods affected my joints the most, once I eliminated those from my diet, pain and stiffness went away, along with remaining active of course.
Thanks so much, really appreciate all of your videos. Sending love and positive vibes to you both and to Bob, hope he’s doing well. ❤
Thank you!
❤....no aches n pains...but l notice lm getting STIFF....just turned 65....so thank u for your help...❤
Wonderful demonstrations. I will use this video often!! Thanks!! Hi to Bob!
At 63, I became a pilates reformer teacher. I've been doing reformer workouts myself for five years. I want to be able to do reformer throughout my life. I have a lot of students in their 50s to 70s who love moving on the reformer. It is a great way to work the body functionally.
You're an inspiration. I know a 73-year-old pilates teacher who can kick everybody's butt.
Thanks B&B! You have helped me throughout the years with various physical ailments. You provide such a valuable service for people in need of advice to help themselves. Kindness and clarity! You rock!
Thanks for watching, stay well!
I thank you 👍 God bless everyone 🪽
I'm nowhere near close to being a senior, but I have all the body ailments of one. I love your videos, thank you, and I recommend you guys to everyone
Ok guys make a Bob and Brad wall exercise pad for all of us who took endless nagging “ don’t touch the walls “( or wallpaper) throughout childhood😂
many thanks for your wonderful exercises ,I like your work so much and every day it is my wonderful time to work with you, I am looking from Bonn in Germany
Brilliant boys! Thanks a lot. 😘
You both are my inspiration for being alive for my ģrandchildren. Pure heart❤❤❤
I'm about to be 73 and I can scrub my whole back with my sponge. Shoulder blades are the toughest, but I have so far refused to get one on a stick.
The hardest for me is my hands! They really don't like to go that- my left thumb is the toughest. I'm left handed so I gently insist.😂👍
**If I've just had them in some nice warm dishwater it helps.♥️♥️♥️✌
My thumbs are both messed up I feel ya
God Bless you both - VERY helpful
Seriously, I had a hip replaced in 2019, and the surgeon said I had no restrictions. So I’ve been doing this stretch since surgery , with no problems. The only things I don’t do include , running(😢) , and yoga dragon poses. No problems otherwise. I’m in my late 60’s.
That's awesome
Did you have arthritis in your hip? Did you only have the one hip done? Curious
MISS BOB TAKE CARE LOVE YOU BOB❤
Thank you Most Famous Therapists on the Internet😊❤❤🙏
Our pleasure!
Love these. I do variations of them in my fitness and yoga classes. Nice to have some validation that I'm helping people in the right ways. Thanks for these videos.
You guys always helping with recommended exercises!❤❤❤❤❤
I'm ready to get out of a cast after a traumatic break of my elbow and wrist, with surgery, screws, and plates. My shoulder is unbelievably tight, all the way through to my fingers. So I'll use these stretches -- very gently, don't worry! And I'm PT live. At 64, I feel about 104 ugh!
Love you guys. Thanks.
I bet you are ready to get out of that cast! Best of luck!
So very helpful! Thank you both. 😊
Our pleasure!
Thank you for your well-thought essential exercises...I swim in awarm pool as often as I can. Best wishes.
I think there is an aches and pains switch that goes off at age 65 😂😮 (I'm 68) everything goes up a massive gear (or it might have been COVID) . I was losing connectivity especially from my waist down to my feet. I found that doing a whole-body yawn-stretch (like a cat stretching) seems to help enormously. in bed or in a chair arms up and legs and feet and toes out - biggest stretch i can do. Thanks for all the videos.
TY❤ some of these I'm already doing as I have 2 pretend hips, and two pretend knees. Haveclearned a lot from my physical therapist but have also learned much from you over the years. I really like your simplistic way if showing & reminding us how important this is. I'm 78 years young and still learning TY again ❤🎉
Brad, you are a great actor!
You always do such a good job of explaining and demonstration.
Thanks for the instruction.
These exercises are great
These are some really great stretches!! Thank you so much for putting this together! I’m also going to share this video with my parents!
Another helpful video, thank you
Wow these are really good exercises…will try asap
Besides exercise, try to move towards a low fat, plant exclusive diet: corn, rice, potatoes, fruits, vegetables, beans and lentils, nuts and seeds. My husband got rid of his acid reflux when he moved to this type of eating. You’ll be surprised how getting rid of cholesterol-laden meat, fish, fowl, dairy and eggs will relieve your aches and pains and some sicknesses.
Google your favourite dishes but preface the search with the word “vegan” (ie. “vegan shepherd’s pie”) and you’ll get plenty of recipes that give you the tastes you love, or close to it. It’s the combination of fresh herbs and dry spices that provide most of the flavour of your fave dishes.
You guys are the best! As a senior, I need you in my life! Thank you.
So important! Thank you!
Very good...thank you !!!!
I Do condone the use of that Packers mug. 👍
You are nice!!
Thanks for the great reminder 😊
I most certainly need to do these stretches. Thanks for the video.😁👍
Thanks! Always Helpful Information for Seniors!
Thank you for your support, stay well!
Great Video.
These are great! The hip stretch works on only one side for me; had hip replacement And gluteus medius re-attachment to my trochanter. Had shoulder and bicep surgery last year on right shoulder last April, and broke my left shoulder 6 weeks ago!! At 66 I am looking forward to these stretches!!
I've been doing the 4 hip stretch for a very long time since I saw you show it in another video. It's very helpful! The other stretches are as well! Thank you! ❤️ I like the variation of the hand stretch you showed. It also helps stretch the muscle down the wrist as I move my shoulders up. 😊
Thank you for All the informative video's!
👍👍 Good man Brad!.....always reach for the top shelf team......GO PACKERS!
Hi, we've alot of seniors here, yest a lady fell at the grocers, they helped her, I think she was a little in schock, saw her later walking home (as I biked by) no groceries but managing on her own, our hospitals here 1/2 with old people, they'll neglect you for days then throw a pacemaker in ya, keep you around for further neglect, 😝, stay well you're no good to anyone weak, saw old bud too, arm removed, flesh eating disease😢!
YIKES!
@@adrienneanderson-smith2257 You can say that again. Nobody told us when we were young that it was going to be so difficult later on.
Awesome, thank you! I'm assuming this means my broom and mop handles have had their workouts for the day, too, then!😅 Win win.
👍🇨🇦
Thank you for the information
First one is so important. Thanks!
Love you guys. You're the best.
Thanks for sharing
I’m 72 and I do yoga beginning in my bed with stretches. My hamstrings, tendons and ligaments tend to be so tight that I have trouble walking so I do stretches for my legs. Try different stretches and adapt to fit your needs. The important thing is to stretch!
“You’ll walk in circles.” 😂😂😂
Thanks for watching!
Thank you
🎶 bob n brad the best physical therapists on the internet 🎵 🎉 😅
Thank you!
Great you guys! Thank you 🎉🎉🎉
Our pleasure!
Good tips, thanks.

Our pleasure!

Great tips 👍🏽👍🏽
Couldn’t find the hand massager in your store under this video link
There’s everything else available by you guys but no hand massager!
Need to order one right away
Not am Amazon fan 🤷🏼♀️will try anyway
Thank you Brad and Mike 😊 15:06
I also could not find your hand massager but there are other massagers made by others. If you are paying Amazon to advertiser your products I suggest you get with them to add this product to your store.
Leg cramps at night, maybe you need to start taking some magnesium 400 mg, that could help you! 😊👍🙏
Miss Bob❤.
Lol, i have those shoes as well, Mike.
Thanks for this in detail. Thanks. Love that wallwalk. What to you do when you have a torn shoulder capsule torn ligaments that are barely hanging on to some muscle. Thanks for the idea of the belt.
How is Bob doing? Mike is great, but we miss Bob!
Yeep 😅😅😅
Thx guys
Bugger fun hi's🎉
Getting my right foot up to put my socks & shoes on is a big problem for me, so I was pleased you included this. One exercise I do already is to pull my toes back towards me & push the heels away whilst laying flat in bed, gives a great calf stretch. HOWEVER I’m now finding after doing the Figure 4 stretch & calf stretches, I am getting awful cramps in my right calf - left one is fine. ADVICE PLEASE 🙏🌷
I safely looked away during the packer mug portion
Great recommendations for the hands. Do you have an exercise for the thumbs?
Thanks
These are all very good stretching exercises, thanks guys! I hope you can answer my question re the #4 hip stretch, is that safe to do when a person has a knee replacement? I’m having a tough time tying up shoelaces as I’ve had both knees replaced.
Good question me too
I don't see the electric hand massager on your Amazon page. Can you tell me where it is?
I miss Bob x
For excerpts 2 what can you do if you can not get your leg up to your knee?
I had a terrible left groin pain last year it was excruciating in addition to a bad knee and carpal tunnel in my right hand and elbow and one of the orthopedic dr told me to do the figure 4 stretch. Hubby and I are walking around the neighborhood and I get weak at times but the pain in my lower back is very painful
Tai Chi and Choy Li Fut forms for me sir! 👍💪👊
Thank you or this. Where do you get the red stretching pole from? 🙂
Every now & then a leg (usually calf) cramp happens in the night.
I keep a 1/1 BioSonics tuning fork at my bedside.
The vibration softens muscles & ends cramps.
Hand massager isn’t coming up on your website. Link please?
Hey Guys - great video as per usual, but could not find your hand massager anywhere. Help!
Y’all had me with that Perry Ellis macys belt lol
Thank you for this. Just one question --- I heard it is dangerous to stretch "cold" muscles, shouldn't they be warmed up first with some gentle exercises?
If you're hypermobile, is stretching ideal it strengthening?
How do you stretch if you had hip replacement?
Here are some videos that might help: www.youtube.com/@BobandBrad/search?query=stretch%20hip%20replacement
i have one more question! what is your thought on support knee socks? i think they would cut off the circulation above your knee.
I am having trouble finding the hand massager you recommended in your video.
Unfortunately this hand massager has been discontinued. We are working on another, more beneficial hand massager as this one was difficult to suit all sizes.
