Diy Headlight Angel Eyes Retrofit

These are the steps I took to install angel eyes in my headlights. I am not a professional and some steps might not be right or could be done differently, this is just how I installed them. The headlights are off a ford focus mk2 but could be used on other cars.
Here are the steps I took:
heat the headlight (particularly the seal) and slowly pry the headlight lens from the body
take the headlight completely apart and sprayed some internal parts with heat resistant paint (for looks)
sanded the lens and then polished in increasing grade (to remove overspray and stonechips)
used a sealer to protect the back of the angel eye from heat from the main beam and brights and attach in place
reassembled the headlight and finally installed (on these headlights, the lens sealed with the body with a ribber gasket, other headlights may need appropriate sealer)
