If y'all didn't notice Alan Jackson's band was the band playing for the sisters the amount of respect and love Alan had for her was massive.
She was such a huge staple in country music for not only other country music artist but I believe her beautiful song that paid real tribute to how she was raised & how she grew up in just the song coal miners daughter that alone brought so many of my young friends to just love country music only because they just really loved that song which just turned them into life long
country music fans
I didn’t even notice that Alan’s band played for their beautiful tribute performance so thank you for pointing that out however it doesn’t surprise me as I think any good band would’ve been honored to play that or any of her beautiful songs in honor of her as there will definitely NEVER be another sweet Loretta Lynn
Ho right ahead
A strong display of integrity
Mr Alan Jackson loved her,, just shows the love and upmost respect Alan Jackson his band had for our True Queen of country and the The Coals Miner's Daughter. She's smiling down singing in the Heavenly angels quior❤️🕊️🕊️🕊️
You can hear the pain in their voices. Loretta was a true legendary icon she was a great gift to watch over the years. Crystal and Peggy you did your sister proud. ❤💜💚
That is very true. I could hear the pain and sadness in their voices. This tribute really made my eyes water.
It sounds like their voices were breaking. They’re very brave to do this tribute for their sister just a few days after she died.
You gotta think the song is the same for them they are both the same coal miners daughters so they are living the same truth
@@AndySaenz it wasn’t an easy feelings to battle with but glad we got that done for Loretta.
💯 but this was my favorite performance for its real ness in country and obvious remainders
2 sisters grieving a sister and singing a song she made famous but they both as well lived the words to this song. Love this!!!!
Deepest condolences to the entire Loretta family. Y’all are so loved.
💜🤗🎼🎶🎵
that’s realness lived 💜
I am so happy they did that song because they were coal miners daughter too love ❤️
and a father, they were also the coal miners daughters
I've listened to this 5 times over at least....this will always be lorettas song but these two just bought a whole new level of depth to this it's almost as if it's a sweet lullaby being sung to their sister. The low tones and rifts just gives the chills. It's kinda funny that we think of Loretta as the coal miners daughter but these two were just as much a coal miners daughter....love you hons
My understanding from what I heard was that Crystal was there half sister. Reason being that after there father passed away there mom remarried & than had Crystal. Now I don’t know if this’s true but Loretta father passed away while she was just starting to get known. If anyone knows for sure please let me know. Loved Miss Loretta & she will be missed by all. ❤
@@melbasmith3974 they have the same daddy just very different upbringings
@@melbasmith3974 Loretta and all seven of her siblings have the same parents. Brenda Gail, professionally known as Crystal Gayle, is the youngest and was born in 1951. Her father, Melvin (Ted) Webb died in 1959 when Crystal was eight years old. Clara Webb, her mother, remarried in 1960 but had no children with her second husband. Loretta's two oldest children were both older than Crystal, and Loretta was six months pregnant with her third child when Crystal was born. It's often said that most of her family never stopped referring to Crystal by her given name, Brenda Gail. Most people don't realize that Loretta was almost 19 years older than Brenda (Crystal).
I always loved Crystals voice
Everybody that loves. &/or likes country music loves her beautiful voice
Crystal Gayle was my favorite singer when I was in middle school and my freshman year of high school. Loretta Lynn was born the same year as my grandma on my mom's side. She was really great too. Coal Miner's Daughter was one of my favorite movies
Her voice so gentle. I remember being at a County Farm Fair and someone was playing Talking invyour sleep.
I was mesmerised at 16 ! My friends thought I was a bore but Country music I have always loved. Xxx
I've always liked her voice too but never could figure out why she didn't have that flat, country whang that Loretta and the rest of the family....or the ones I've heard....had?? She seemed to have a slight accent of some sort but it sure isn't that "country" you'd expect.
@@extremeocd1184 Crystal and her family moved to Wabash, IN when she was very young. I suppose growing up there would have subjected her to a different accent than Kentucky. Loretta was almost 19 years older than Crystal and lived in Kentucky until she married and moved to Washington state for over ten years. Certainly, Washington state has a much different accent than Kentucky but it never rubbed off on Loretta. She never changed from her early years. Loretta was six months pregnant with her third child when Crystal was born. It's as though they came from two completely different worlds.
Amazing how musical this FAMILY IS
Patty Loveless is also their cousin.
loretta lynn's two sisters singing coal miners daughter tribute is awesome
Twins, are her daughters.
Only one of them is sister and that's the black haired one, Crystal. Peggy Sue was a daughter that passed away at 64 , however this Peggy is Lorettas sister. Sorry I had to edit to correct my statement. R. I. P. Loretta
@@iamhere4now980 NO, Crystal and Peggy Sue are Loretta's sisters. Both Peggy and Patsy are still alive
@@iamhere4now980 poo up iuiu up to go get some rest and feel better and not having to go through
@@iamhere4now980 Loretta's daughter that died was Betty Sue not Peggy sue
That must have been so hard to sing without crying. Such a special family and a wonderful tribute to their sister. ❤
Agree. What an awesome display of human strength.
I don't know how they stayed composed but they did amazing. Such a beautiful tribute with so much love.
Love you all
Crystal still has a beautiful voice
@ashley1994 Crystal Gayle was an exceptional singer in her day. Loretta Lynn also had a really high accuracy with notes and pitch. She could sustain a single note for a long while.
@ashley1994 where's your record deal and hits at trashley
And beautiful hair!!!
@ashley1994 what ate you talking about? She had a very successful career
Edit: are (Is that better)
@ashley1994 Psycho? You must be bored and trolling the internet tonight
It's amazing how much all three sisters look so much alike. Rest in peace Loretta.
I'm sure Loretta was looking down on her sisters at this moment and she was smiling at this beautiful tribute.
Just so very special. Beautiful tribute by two very special sisters. 💖
@ashley1994 You must be one of those females Loretta wrote a song about!!
Yes Loretta did deserve a tribute. She was a beautiful singer!!
@ashley1994 Hey look, it's Trashley making lame comments again.
@ashley1994 I don't know why you keep making such rude comments nobody wants to read them. Make an oppology and move on. She past on have some respect.
@ashley1994 Trashley, you must have a lot of insecurities in your life to bad mouth people who have more talent and money than you'll ever have
Beautiful tribute from both of Loretta Lynn's sisters. R.I.P. Loretta😢💔🕊
A very nice tribute in the memory of Miss Loretta ! These two sisters loved her as Loretta loved them ! RIP Miss Loretta ! We love and miss you !
Words cannot even describe how much we'll all miss Loretta, now she's singing in that heavenly choir RIP Loretta .. you will never be forgotten 💔
Every time i hear this i bawl. Im a coal miners daughter and i lost Daddy in 2015 and Mama in 2017
My momma is a Coal Miner's Daughter too!
Such a beautiful tribute. I cried. I loved her so much.
All I can say is that if I were singing my sister's famous song, I'd be bawling like a baby. Period.
What a wonderful tribute, that’s traditional country music, right there, R.I.P Loretta Lynn
To us Loretta was an icon and now she is a legend, to them she was first and foremost a sister, what a great tribute to her, 2 of the people she loved singing her signature song.
This tribute is very emotional and very touching. I think that what other people said about the pain and emotion in their voices is very true. They appeared to be strong but very sensitive. I think that Loretta Lynn and her music and her memories will live on forever. She was really great
I am. Crystal Gayle was my first celebrity crush back in 1986 when I was in the 7th grade. Loretta Lynn put out a lot of great music over the course of her life too
RIP the Queen of Country Music Loretta Lynn...Loretta will always will be the best.
The greatest country music singer, I will never forget my diva. Rest in peace ❤

Peggy is 80 and Crystal is 71. They sound great.
Beautiful! I was able to see Crystal in concert in my area which was like a dream come true. Peggy also was there what a bonus. My husband set up a photo with Crystal and it is one of my most treasured items . 👍
My husband and I live 20 minutes from van lear...ive visited their childhood home...met their brother Herman years before he passed he was a very sweet humble man..greeted me with a smile and hug..he was famous in his own right and he was proud of it..but boy did he brag on loretta... they actually filmed a portion of coal miners daughter over in van lear...the scene were Loretta (sissy spaciek) was giving birth was the actual doctors office where Loretta herself gave birth
Love Crystal Gayle she is always looking classy as ever she is so pretty and I never knew Peggy till Loretta passed but I really loving her too what an amazing family!!
good song that will live FOREVER. Loretta sang abt daddy raised 8 kids, her 2 sisters can sing this sing for real.😊

That was absolutely beautiful. Had me in tears. My mom was a coal miner's daughter.

Beautiful tribute...Rest in Love Queen❤🙌🕊 Prayers for the Family and Friends🙏❤
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING & BEAUTIFUL❣️❣️
LOVE THIS
Amazing. Coal Miner's Daughter was one of the very few movies my parents ever took me to see as a youngster (because we were poor, not because they were mean) and I've been a huge Loretta Lynn fan since. I'm 50 now.
Two Beautiful Sisters this must have been so hard to do but great job girls xxx❤️❤️
May she RIP knowing her music will continue to live on through the lives of the ladies she not only mentored but through the new generation of singers yet to come. Great job ladies.
This just brought tears to my eyes. I think of my own sister and can't imagine how it would hurt to lose her. My heart and prayers go out to this family. Crystal and Peggy, you did an amazing job! What an amazing tribute to your beloved sister Loretta. I just know she had front row seats, watching from heaven!
It's so amazing that the women in Loretta's family all had the prominent cheek bones. People tend to forget that Crystal Gayle is her sister and made her mark in music as well! The love in that family is immense.
Ty Chrystal & Peggy for the beautiful tribute to your sister ❤️ ♥️ 💕 💖 💙 💗 ❤️ she was loved by many ty
Blessed be her memory.
That was so very awesome.

beautiful
Loretta’s sisters, Crystal and Peggy Sue, sound great singing this iconic song. It gave me goosebumps. If you ever have an opportunity to take a tour of a coal mine and old coal town, do so. You’ll have even more appreciation of Loretta’s humble beginnings, incredible life and gifted songwriting, and also gain insight into the lives of the hard-working coal miner.
so heart felt and awesome....their memories too....beautiful...rest in peace Loretta Lynn
Hello Jean, how are you doing today.
AMAZING TRIBUTE. WE LOVE Y’ALL!!!
What a amazing song and Duet
2022 has been a very difficult year for Country music, especially since we lost Naomi Judd and Loretta Lynn in the same year. So sad.
Ralph Emery, Mickey Gilley, Olivia Newton John who also had country hits all gone this year too.
Happy Birthday Crystal
Music is in their blood!
Such a beautiful song! Great tribute
