So far I couldn't be happier with how my setup has turned out. That's a great price for what you're getting in my opinion.

Maybe the feeding issue was with the lower? I’m not at all that knowledgeable in ARs just to let you know, but perhaps it was the magazine or something else. Any updates since 10 mos ago. Thx for the vid.

I believe it was just a bit of a break in period when the upper was new. Although I haven't done another video specifically on the upper, I have used it in a few videos since it's completion using an Auburn Arms lower. This is the platform I'm going to use for future steel penetration videos involving 5.56 as well. All good questions on your part.

I thought so, we'll see if in time it works out some of the kinks. I really hope so as for accuracy and easy of being accurate it was great.

@@Alloy211 I got a 24 inch wylde with a very heavy barrel. With regular crap ammo it doesn't make much of a difference. But with match grade ammo, big big difference. I should try it in my 7inch barrel to see what the difference is lol

@@GearsAndGuns That would be a good comparison to make how much the itty bitty barrel loses compared to the super sized barrel.

I have been looking at buying a pistol type ar 15 but prices seem alot higher than 16 inch ar 15 models//i have a new palmetto armory ar 15 with 16 barrel..will this upper work on any ar15,,in other words if i want a 7.5 barrel i can just buy a 7.5 upper and switch out the upper thats on my existing rifle...what about just repalcing barrel..is that a option thats less expensive..new to the ar15s so please bear with me,,i see some 10.5 uppers for about 225 online

First and foremost you must know and follow all regulations and laws that in your jurisdiction that apply to pistol AR15s. You can not legally mount an upper with a barrel of less than 16" to a rifle lower without first filing an ATF Form 4 and pay for the $200 tax stamp. So without the tax stamp it's a no go on mounting a short barrel upper to a rifle lower. The cost of the tax stamp would make buying a new AR-15 the better option. Hopefully this was helpful.

I hear you about the laws but we dont have that in SC,,I have decided since bidens donthave to follow the law neither am in i,,,im 66 and am totally disgusted with DC on both sides,,,there will be violence soon in our unlike anything we have ever seen,,,people are fed up,,stay safe..i agree with you its more cost efficent to buy a new pistol ar,,,we have a palmetto armory store nearby,,they sell kits at good prices,,,

I appreciate your perspective but again I have to advise to follow all federal laws in regards to the issue.
