I loved them. The Outfield was the soundtrack to my youthful days spent at the beach along Lake Michigan. Cars, girls, beach parties and this kind of rock and roll. Thanks Outfield!

This album, PLAY DEEP, was the first CD I ever bought in 1987, age 17. I swear I must have listened to it a million times. This band had something special, a unique sound, great chord progressions, great lyrics, and talent. Sorry they didn't make it bigger in America.
Your Love is still played hundreds of times daily in North America, at sporting events, weddings, dances, commercials, TV shows, Video games. A great song is a great song, no matter what genre. You know what, in 30 years, it will still be played and people will still sing at the top of their lungs "LOSE YOUR LOVE.. TOOOO NIIII GHTTTT!!!!
I was born in 95 and honestly I wish I could’ve experienced these times. They must have been the best time to live in. It’s such a sad trip watching these videos and reminiscing the past. I will be 30 next year in March. I have an 8 month old daughter. MAN HOW TIME FLIES. Enjoy your youth peeps
I'll also be 30 next March and have a 2 week old daughter, had Your Love on repeat for pretty much the last month after hearing in a meme video haha I love 80's music and sometimes think I was born in the wrong era, they just don't make music like they used to, it just has a whole soul that modern music is lacking. Gonna raise my daughter on all the classics like my parents raised me on, can't wait to be singing this in the car with her ❤

"I can't believe the things that happen to me I guess that I should have seen a long, long time ago" That starting line of the song resonates me back to my childhood , thank you for being a part of my childhood through that iconic voice of yours Tony Lewis, loved the Outfield and will always be. Rest easy Tony Lewis.
Outfield, Alphaville, A-HA, G&R, Nirvana, Tears for Hears, Radiohead, Sandra, KC and the sound shine band, The Kiss, The calling, culture club, Michael Jackson, Huey Lewis, Cindi Lauper, The Queen, y un sinfín de enormes talentos y voces, por eso les digo y repito que época igual no habrá

Lyrics
I can't believe the things that happen to me
I guess that I should have seen a long, long time ago
Letters you write don't help me get through the night
So I'll just turn out the light
And sleep here all alone
All the love, all the love in the world
All the love, I'll be sending you girl
All the love
All the love in the world
Time after time I put my life on the line
But I ain't committed no crime, so take what you can find
Forget what I say 'cause I'll keep running away
I only live for today, but I'm one day behind
All the love, all the love in the world
All the love, I'll be sending you girl
All the love
All the love in the world
These are the words that I whisper on every first night
But that day you left me
Those words were on that same flight
I can't believe the things that happen to me
I guess that I should have seen a long, long time ago
Letters you write don't help me get through the night
So I'll just turn out the light
And sleep here all alone
All the love, all the love in the world
All the love, I'll be sending you girl
All the love
All the love in the world

@@arnelbaguio7275 me too I wanna know.because she is so pretty
Cliff Herren Loved this group along with Honeymoon Suit....both great bands of the 80s. I played these songs over and over.

Gonna raise my daughter on all the classics like my parents raised me on, can't wait to be singing this in the car with her ❤
RIP Tony Lewis.

AAAAAAAA
We were lucky to have this group, the only thing is we didn't know just how lucky we were.
Perfectly stated. Couldn't say it better.

So heartbreaking. Rest in peace Tony lewis. He's with John Spinks and Reg Webb playing deep in heaven. All my love to his family.
I grew up in the 1950's and 60's, but the 80's music was just as good as anything I remember. Great voice here, RIP.

RIP Tony lewis, your music accompanied me in my childhood and until this moment, a legend dies and a star is born, goodbye
It's unbelieveable, they really did two "twin" songs that sound pretty alike but they're both unique and they both became part of music history.
My favorite line of the song, "I only live for today, but I'm one day behind" so many days feel like that.

They did it to the end. Always rocking, giving best vibes. Thanks for everything, OUTFIELD! You made my life better.
When music was real and nobody needed to lipsync. Who are we really to judge 80s music when we have lipsync and back tracks? Thanks for the great memories and God bless you. You will always be remembered and for ever missed

Claro !
What an exceptional voice the lead singer has. It is outstanding.
I bet they sound good live
@@joshuasmith6346 NOT SO.
@ericlogos they sounds good when they're young. but sounds bad late on because the singer can't reach high notes anymore.

"I can't believe the things that happen to me
I guess that I should have seen a long, long time ago"
That starting line of the song resonates me back to my childhood , thank you for being a part of my childhood through that iconic voice of yours Tony Lewis, loved the Outfield and will always be. Rest easy Tony Lewis.
Another great 80s band.

Outfield, Alphaville, A-HA, G&R, Nirvana, Tears for Hears, Radiohead, Sandra, KC and the sound shine band, The Kiss, The calling, culture club, Michael Jackson, Huey Lewis, Cindi Lauper, The Queen, y un sinfín de enormes talentos y voces, por eso les digo y repito que época igual no habrá
RIP, Tony Lewis & John Spinks. Gone too soon, deeply missed & loved, & never forgotten. 😢🙏🏽🌹✝️🕊
