For those of you beginners out there, it took me way longer than three days to get my turns, and I still struggle with things going on riding for a couple years now. If you're like me and you only get out once or twice a season, the progression takes longer. Be patient, and have fun!!
Started last yr at 40, full body sore while trying to learn, I sometimes laughed at myself like what am I doing like l'm in a mid life crisis or somethn😅 Can say I'm intermediate now. A lot less sore after riding
Went for my first time last night and my wrist, knees, and tailbone hurts aha we did build up to it though, Did the very mellow area for 4 hours and then a bigger green hill for the last hour. Definitely getting some guards and pads for next time!
The biggest mistake is thinking people care that you're new/will judge you for being new. On the mountain everyone is there to have fun. You're more likely to make an oldhead like me happy to see new people in the sport rather than have people judge you for not being a pro out the gates
Hi I like your videos and we are about to go into our winter here in Australia and if you can make a video on how to correctly tighten your snow board boots including boa type it would be great I haven’t been able to find a good video on this subject
Number 1 rule: Take a lesson with a qualified instructor! No matter what skills your friends have, if they don’t have the skill to teach, you’re wasting so much time and energy trying to learn from them. A good instructor knows how to walk you through everything step by step and pinpoint what will benefit you most at any given point in your learning. Your first few lessons are worth 10 times as much as what you’re being charged, even if it doesn’t seem like it at the time.
I had a displaced my tailbome fracture at Cardrona a month ago. Of course it's the day I didn't wear my crash pants and then tested positive to covid the next day 😒😒😒😒😒
I think 3rd point should come first ... I see so many people not wearing a helmet, that's just receipt for disaster ... also 5th point should come second ... I have a friend being taken to a way too hard slope and crashed, and never come back
I cant overcome the mental barrier when it gets really fast. Ive snowboarded 3 times and ive got my turns down already. But its just the mental barrier

what about binging youtube tutorials?
I learned more from a friend than I did from a lesson with an instructor.
When on your toe edge should your toes be flat on the snow or pressed down instead
Fun. Must be the priority
Total beginner here, about to go snowboarding for the first time and learn. Any recommendation on which wrist guards to buy?
there are also gloves with built in protection :o ruclips.net/video/RsSNLHX7JVk/видео.html&ab_channel=RaimundCheckt%27siT
Any wrist guards should do the trick. Anything better than nothing....
@@laowai2000 correct, I think it already saved my wrist in the first week.
Instead of a overbending it caused a local "pressure mark" (?).
What crash pants do you wear Kevin???
I wear the Burton impact shorts.

I should try crash shorts
would you recommend Step Ons for beginners?
I wouldn’t for beginners. I think you get better performance and price from a tradition two strap binding and lace up boot combo.
Do you have a link to your down jacket? Looks like what I need
I feel like i still do some of these lol

Indeed, first 2 years i had no bottom protection and now i have a broken tailbone...
Im sure i make a few of these every season…
Dog haha me too

It will get easier in time keep practicing and youll get there!
Go work on a resort your riding will get better by a long shot better then going up the hill 1/2 times a yr
gah, this is so annoying, why do those vid pop up in my subscriptions before they're up?
He schedules them for premier same time every day he announced it in a live chat not to long ago.
I kinda feel the same way but!! Now we know when there coming
