    would've been good if you had a db meter to show output... i have these and always run with a comp/limiter for the pair, or DriveRack with subs, so no blown spkrs if treated right... the TS315's with 18" inch active subs is good for easy 500+ people... or just the TS315's easy 250+ people... bang for buck these TS315 series can't be beat... if money isn't an option then the QSC's are a great choice for powered speakers.
    TS315 pros... decent bass and power for size and price. good steel grille. very light. reliable and no problems after many gigs. highs are good and not tinny. sound good out of the box with very little eq. easy to fly from a roof too.
    TS315 cons... i don't like the composite cabinet. it feels like cheap MDF board and marks fairly easily.
    out of 10 i'd give them a solid 8... definitely worth the money.

    Alto is truly with out a doubt a good entry level speaker. I had them side by side with my QSC k12's and at a lower volume they sounded impressive , Once i upped the volume of the QSc the Alto immediately went to clip...I recommend a gd quality sub like a 15' yorkville or QSC kw181 and you won't have to clip giving excellent miss and highs with out clipping

    • @DjBriteEyes

    • @abdonrodriguez3586
      @abdonrodriguez3586 4 года назад +1

      @@DjBriteEyes yes it is but if you grow your dj business then you have to step up the front line speakers and a gd set can cost 1400 to 2000..keep in mind that it is bass that make the speaker clip.

    I had a set of these, Nothing but praise, they hit hard and have very clear highs. For $349, what do you expect? I am now looking at going with the new Mackie SRT 212s. Mainly because of the bluetooth function that actually works. I tested out the bluetooth on a Mackie 212BST. Sound, I don't think was as good as the Altos. However, the bluetooth was amazing. I went all the way to other side of the store and didn't drop signal! So no to the BST Mackies, I'm hoping the SRT series 12" will sound at least as good as the Altos I had, plus gonna run a sub finally. I think with the 12" speakers it will be necessary if you really want that honest THUMP in the chest.

    Those speakers are for beginners and JBL will out play those all day lol you get what you pay for in this PA equipment el cheapo gear!!! And for 2000watts yeah right not even close lol.

    • @DjBriteEyes
      @DjBriteEyes  4 года назад +1

      Yeah I used them quite a few times no issues very clear 2000 watts would be peak which every company does I have owned JBL EV Mackie QSC IP300. Now I own the EV Evolve 30M which go for 1299.00 each. So depending on your budget they are great speakers for the price. RMS is 1000 Watts not sure if they are really that loud but they do the job if EQED right.

    • @don4476
      @don4476 3 года назад

      Of course there are better speakers. Of course you get what you pay for. But my TS312, which I have and use with my keyboard, is better than all the high priced, drive you out of the room speakers I don't have.
