Hey thx, I was going through my collection and I took out volume 9's Borchers and forgot which ones they go into I had to watch your video to verify that they go back into volume 9. What a life saver
I personally prefer the boxsets due to me having alot of vhs tapes, i used to hate sleeved dvds but since collecting tapes ive found big cases better looking on my shelf
i think both releases are good in their own ways. the original box set releases are big and bulky, sure, but they have nice artwork on each layer of the packaging, and look a lot fancier. (well, not really “fancy”, but i can’t quite think of the word i mean.) the newer slim reissues are better in that they don’t take up as much room as the originals, they fit all the discs in one small package, and don’t remove any on-disc content from the original releases. but the newer releases do come with the trade off of losing a lot of that original artwork, and (if you purchase them online) getting damaged in shipment.
I have Volumes 1-3, but 1-2 have some scratching. It's not bad but it's annoying. They don't sell the "original" boxsets so you have to buy them used, which sucks
Me as a fan, Only been a Family Guy fan for a few days and I only have a Stewie shirt lol. It says "Go To Hell" But I still wear it even if people look at me like "Why is this 12-year-old girl wearing a family guy shirt?". Love this man, Hope your collection get larger and greater!
BTW, the discs in the slim cases are exactly the same. They come off the same glass master, which makes sense. Do they still make the artwork for the original 2003 sets?
@@JTwoH That's really sad. What I did is buy the set off eBay with all the artwork, buy new cases to replace the bad ones, and bought the Volumes 1-4 set from Walmart. Looks almost good as new.

I feel like Disney/FOX will either: -not release further seasons on DVD ever again -start packaging multiple seasons together just like Volume One: Seasons 1 & 2 or -just wait until the show finally ends and do a complete series box set

It's not a season it's a movie It's called Stewie Griffin, the untold story. That's what the dvd is called It's actually much better to watch it on DVD than streaming because they cut out a good chunk of it. Even the behind the scenes stuff.

I did that with American dad. I have hd versions of all the episodes, but when I bought the dvds I ripped them to my hard drive so I could watch them uncensored without putting in the discs.
I was about 19 when I started collecting these if I'm right I'm 35 now and I still collect them I love Family Guy always have always will.....
