When I made a poll asking what new videos everyone would like to see, a lot of people brought up this video. Before I get into more current topics, i thought it would be nice to have this one kinda start us off. I know all of these theories are out dated or debunked. It's just an old video people enjoyed before we knew all of this.

It's worth noting that Thomas' Animal Ark, Samson and the Fireworks (originally Oliver's Fear of Fireworks), Confusion Without Delay, Chucklesome Trucks, Nia and the Unfriendly Elephant (originally just The Unfriendly Elephant), and The Case of the Puzzling Parts were all originally meant to be Season 21 episodes that got pushed back, so that definitely gives us some insight as well. Great video either way, though! Love your ideas for what Rosie's role in the season may have initially been....
Happy to see this back up again and wishes S21 hadn’t been shortened down. After what’s been revealed, it all makes me so angry knowing what Mattel have done to the original plan to S21 to something so toxic! No wonder Andrew left, he wasn’t happy with lack of freedom he’s been getting from Mattel too
I hate the whole shed situation, nobody remembers that sometimes thomas, percy, and toby stay at the ffarquar sheds, and not to mention sometimes Edward stays at the sheds on the bendam line with Boco. It's stupid the only locomotives who should be garenteed a spot in the sheds are the mainline engines.
This was a favourite video of mine. Happy to see it again. I think something to point to new viewers of this is that is was made before all the information on season 21's cancelled episodes came out like Oliver's fear of fireworks becoming Samson and the Fireworks in season 22.

This is a lot of interesting thoughts you have brought forward. I can see how 'Gordon Goes Foreign' could come into it. But I honest believe that Rosie was going to have an episode to herself. I heard it was going to tell how Rosie had her repaint and went from pink to red 🙂.
Wow that was interesting, I was even surprised that they were going to make Gordon goes foreign episode. But sadly it was canceled, also it would be nice to see Rosie be part of the steam team. Even though Edward & Henry should have not left the shed, it would be interesting to see her have a roll along with the rest of them. And how she would earn her spot in the shed, would she do something heroic or was there something that happened to her shed? Now that would be something to watch. Hands down BoCo was probably meant for Nia's role in Hunt the Truck considering the rumors of him returning in Season 22. I assume there would have been at least 1 Little Western episode in S21 especially with Samson's Fireworks originally being an Oliver episode.
That was a neat video about Season 21, Mainland. I do wish to see "Gordon Goes Foreign" to be in CGI had it not stayed cancelled, even after production for Season 2.
Ah yes, I remember watching this video ages ago, would love to see an updated one with the new info (as im sure you want to do it as well, haha) It's funny, after my "The Lost Episodes Of Jack & the Pack - FOUND" video, I was planning on doing a "The LOST Episodes Of Series 21 - FOUND" too! Still hope to do that some day, but wouldn't be surprised if it took another 2 or 3 years! I think most of the stuff here has been retconned, like Michael started writing for S22 for example, hence AEOMC would've been written for S22. Or how nothing from JBS was gonna be in S21, since I remember asking Sam W about if Seeing Is Believing was gonna be in 21, and his responce was that the crew didn't like the series spoiling the special, hence why everything got mixed up around the start of S19. I could go on... but as you and I know, this whole era is a can of worms which is better saved for our theory videos haha
I would have wanted to see "Patriot"Big City Engine in the CGI adaption of "Gordon Goes Foreign". Also I wish the CGI series brought back locations such as the locations from Thomas and the magic railroad such as Killaban Station, Sodor Wishing Well and the Big Dipper Viaduct.
Good explanation and I agree with you. Plus if "Thomas and Friends" had made far more money than ever, since 1984, gaining the highest tv series budget than the other shows, while staying a permanent 60FPS clay-faced model series while, many of the characters who left early wouldn't have left and appear in each season, still with the voice stars (US and UK) and Pierce Brosnan (S12-13) and then permanently Mark Moraghan (Specials, S14-Present and Future), many of the cancelled and the dropped episodes, including the ones you mentioned, would have finally appeared and it would still exist today. For that, you need a time machine to make it right.
I still personally think that Gordon Goes Foreign could’ve worked for season four, but I reckon an adaptation in season twenty one would work for Big City Engines role to be portrayed by Spencer.
I'd say Percy Takes A Plunge, Gordon Goes Foreign, Special Letter and Paint Pots and Queens all should have been in Season 3. Considering they adapted Leaves as The Trouble with Mud in S3 might as well finish the Gordon saga with Paint Pots and Queens as well instead of pushing it back a season.
While we know now that 6 of the 8 cancelled S21 episodes became BWBA episodes and one other was gonna be about Rosie (possibly about her new red livery), I wonder what the last episode could’ve been about. Not sure if it would’ve been a narrow gauge episode since Mattel gave up on the Skarloey Railway engines and we don’t really know if it would’ve been a Bulgy or Big Mickey episode, it wouldn’t have been about Henry leaving the main cast since they didn’t plan on it originally, so who knows? Could’ve been about The Earl’s museum for all we know with Duke becoming part of it like it’s been said or heck even say Stepney returning (okay nothing was ever said but still), or just an everyday life story for someone.

We do know that Samson and the Fireworks (originally Oliver's Fear of Fireworks), Confusion Without Delay, Chucklesome Trucks, Thomas's Animal Ark, the Case of the Puzzling Parts and the Unfriendly Elephant (with another character in Nia's place) we’re planned for season 21, but were pushed back to make room for BWBA. 4. While an adaptation of Gordon Goes Foreign would be awesome, it sounds a little bit weird for me. I don’t think Spencer would work in the big city engine's place because he’s from the LNER, so he would have agreed with Gordon about it being Kings Cross. And Connor, okay I have a theory that he and Caitlin are LMS locomotives, even if they were inspired by American designs. It’s a long story so make of it as you will. But if you do like my idea, Connor could work, but then again the show from season 5-onwards takes place after British Rail ended use of steam, so they would probably know about London having more than one station by now. It could work if it was told in the past tense, similar to my idea of Super Rescue for the revival era. The thought of Hugo appearing in this season for one more episode does sound interesting I must admit. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was considered. I would be interested in learning about the other two cancelled episodes.

I think I remember reading somewhere that Engine of Many Colours wasn't a S21 episode. I'm pretty sure Michael White wasn't even a writer when S21 was being written, and I don't see the issue with an episode taking place in the previous season
i think the reason for Henry moving to vicarstown was because his flying kipper run ends there, i think thats the reason, i could be wrong, or he simply just moved there to be closer to his work as said in the video, "still the best of friends"
If Season 21 has all 26 episodes then I think the eight episodes would've been about, another story around Donald and Douglas with no bickering, just in proper character with their individuality as the main focus, two stories around Duck and Diesel's rivalry in CGI style at long last with it remain intact in the end, a Bulgy story as originally planned alongside Rosie, Rebecca debut in this season, a narrow gauge focus story for once and perhaps Oliver getting his own spotlight role in CGI. That would've been great.
Some guesses for what the lost S21 episodes could be about: .A Episode about how did Rosie was painted red in the first place. .Some sort of Henry leaving the Steam Team episode. .Henry and Rosie episode. .Steelworks related episode.

Although there's no evidence for it, I like to believe that the two missing episodes are Jack and The Pack episodes. Hear me out on this, season 20 gave us our first pack episode in ages, reintroducing them to audiences. The Pack made several background appearances in seasons 19-24, one of which is them working at Tidmouth Sheds after James' crash. I believe that at least one episode could have taken place during the reconstruction. This could have done one of two things: Introducing Brenda, or reintroducing Byron. Byron recieved an Adventures toy in 2017, in an Engine Maker pack with Percy. I believe they intended to bring Byron back, but were forced to write in Brenda instead. Regardless of who, I believe an episodes starring one of the bulldozers was cut. The second episode I think could have been another Max and Monty episode with Harvey, as an Adventures pack with the three of them was also released in 2017.
With road characters like Terence and Bulgy making returns during this time, I could see them possibly bringing back more of The Pack for this episode. Byron, Kelly, Ned, and Patrick possibly to fill out the roads in background scenes.
I was super confused while watching this, as I know about what Ian McCue said in (I think 2021). This is a cool theory though, and I’m still confused about the missing episodes, as the ones McCue confirmed kinda make sense, but Sam Wilkamson said that Case of the Puzzling Parts was meant to be in S21, so that scraps what SIF said about a Rosie and Bulgy episodes. Maybe S21 was meant to be 28 episodes, as McCue said that the S20 coffeepot eps were meant to be part of S21 as well, but maybe the coffeepot ones were meant to be in s21, and prior to production got moved to S20 before the BWBA stuff even was thought of and what Ian said was just not worded perfect which confused others??? Also, why was the original video taken down?

After hearing what you said I do agree that Nia was forced in there and I feel like her character was generic.
God dammit! Why does every Gordon Goes Foreign adaptation get cancelled? It was one of my all time favourite RWS stories but whenever they tried to make it in the TV series it just gets dropped. The Steelworks episode also intrigues me. We never got to see any more of the experimental engines or get a full arc. And I would’ve much preferred having Rosie as a main character over Nia and Rebecca.

I would've preferred Rosie over Nia and Rebecca definitely. It's a shame too, I do like the name Rebecca, and I actually came up with a Human Oc with the name Rebecca, but I do not like It for her.
I honestly think they should've put Rosie in the Steam Team instead of Nia. But I still would enjoy Nia's presence on the series. Maybe, you should rewrite and adapt these episodes.
I would've had Rosie instead of Nia and Daisy instead of Rebecca. OR I would've scrapped Nia, Rebecca, Rosie and Daisy, gotten rid of Edward and instead of getting rid of Henry (Henry would make more sense, but Edward got a send off episode IRL unlike Henry), I would've added Pip and Emma in Edward's place. That way you can keep Henry while getting your two female characters on the steam team.

With regards about Rosie, I still say her red livery was a bad idea and should only have been used as her original livery before Sodor and her trademark livery was her reward…as I stated in a origin story I wrote of her. Though I have no objection to her developed role in the series, mind you - it’s just her ‘Chibi Arthur’/sunburnt appearance that’s the major fault. (After all, there are PLENTY of red engines in Sodor and Rosie did complete the Rainbow of Liveries with her proper livery. Why muck it up just for that?)

When Henry left Tidmouth, I was heartbroken and since then, I've blamed James for what happened and I would since then never forgive him for that. James' desire to be Really Useful is something I found HIGHLY and EXCEEDINGLY hypocritical as if he gives Really Useful Engines a bad name. I've always hated James since the Brenner era and I still do to this day. Will I ever let go of my hatred? It's most unlikely but only time will tell...but no promises.

We don't know if Gordon Goes Foreign or a Steelworks episode was confirmed, since two episodes were already left unanonymous.
I would've preferred Rosie over Nia and Rebecca definitely. It's a shame too, I do like the name Rebecca, and I actually came up with a Human Oc with the name Rebecca, but I do not like It for her.
I honestly think they should've put Rosie in the Steam Team instead of Nia. But I still would enjoy Nia's presence on the series. Maybe, you should rewrite and adapt these episodes.
I would've had Rosie instead of Nia and Daisy instead of Rebecca. OR I would've scrapped Nia, Rebecca, Rosie and Daisy, gotten rid of Edward and instead of getting rid of Henry (Henry would make more sense, but Edward got a send off episode IRL unlike Henry), I would've added Pip and Emma in Edward's place. That way you can keep Henry while getting your two female characters on the steam team.

My final conclusion?
Hurricane, Frankie, Lexi and Theo should make a return to the series after the events of "Journey Beyond Sodor"
along with giving them plenty of episodes to themselves.
With regards about Rosie, I still say her red livery was a bad idea and should only have been used as her original livery before Sodor and her trademark livery was her reward…as I stated in a origin story I wrote of her.
Though I have no objection to her developed role in the series, mind you - it’s just her ‘Chibi Arthur’/sunburnt appearance that’s the major fault. (After all, there are PLENTY of red engines in Sodor and Rosie did complete the Rainbow of Liveries with her proper livery. Why muck it up just for that?)

When Henry left Tidmouth, I was heartbroken and since then, I've blamed James for what happened and I would since then never forgive him for that. James' desire to be Really Useful is something I found HIGHLY and EXCEEDINGLY hypocritical as if he gives Really Useful Engines a bad name. I've always hated James since the Brenner era and I still do to this day.
Will I ever let go of my hatred? It's most unlikely but only time will tell...but no promises.
