USC fan here, I have to say that was one hell of a ball game. Arizona played to win, and UCLA never, ever gave up.

Wow that was a heck of an exciting game. Arizona looked determined the whole game. UCLA just never gave up wanting that win, but it was not to be tonight. Great season by this UCLA team. They are very tough.

I think that was a crazy attempt at the bruins' own 36-yard with 5:53 remaining in the 4th quarter 4th down & 6.
UCLA were trailing by just three points, enough time, and a long 6-yard, there's no need to gamble.

Multi-step + multi-year process, it's good and I'm sure validating for the young team not to lose out to close the year. Last year we invested heavily in skill positions, hopefully this offseason we'll be able to get some talent infusion on both lines. In most cases this year we're getting manhandled, was surprised we were even able to get a run game going today; usually that's where we fail masterfully. Pressure from the D-line is still almost non-existent, as talented as our CBs are, if you give a QB and WR enough time to scramble on a field, someone's bound to get open.
Teams that have nothing to lose are the most dangerous teams

Makes me wonder why Arizona was 3-6 coming into this game. They were very competitive against LA.
Their defense. They can shoot it out with anybody but the defense has been atrocious. They gave USC a run for their money too.
@@_JEBUS USC held out like 8 starters to get healthy for UCLA/ND to finish their season and they played in Tucson. They were competitive with USC but it wasn’t like this game. USC led the entire game and was clearly the much better team. Versus here UCLA was playing at home and Arizona led most of the game.
@@DPMixing USC never took control of that game. AZ was always right behind and a defensive stop away from tying. Like i said the defense is why they dont have a respectable record.
@@_JEBUS The refs literally stole points from them before the half with the clock malfunction. I would say never trailing after the 1st and going up 16 points with 6 mins left is controlling the game. Bearcats got a gimme last second TD with 1 min left to make things interesting but the game was in hand.
And again they intentionally held multiple starters out that could’ve played. USC was down both starting WRs, both starting inside LBs, their best OL, starting safety, and top edge rusher. I don’t disagree their defense is suspect but the team that was fielded against Arizona was not even close to the best version of them. If USC fielded the team that played Utah two weeks before, it’s not close. But they knew they didn’t have to and could still get the win …and they did.
@@DPMixing I don't like to talk what ifs and yes yall were robbed of 3 points but caleb William's got bailed out on the taunting call late in the 4th where Arizona would have got the ball back with a chance to take a lead. Injuries and bad calls are part of the game. Bottom line is AZ gave them a run for their money. No team in the pac rests players for another week like you say. A loss can be handed any week. You should give credit where it's due. AZ is a damn good 4-6 team.
After watching TCU beat UT, I saw this game was at 14-7 and just had to watch, rooting for the little guy to upset the name brand. 😉

UCLA had a chance to win it late but I do not know why they did not continue to use the middle of the field making sure the plays were beyond the sticks! When they got to Arizona's 28 yard line, they just started going for the end zone when there was STILL just enough time to get closer before taking their shots. When things got very tense, it looks like DTR folded. He threw terrible balls to the endzone killing the last seconds they had and then Arizona tried to gift them the game at the very end by having a near complete breakdown in coverage in the endzone, DTR has nearly a wide open TD and just missed his man.
Yeah I lost so much money on Ucla as a teaser & ML bets in my many parlays so I wanted to kno wtf happened & watching that last play fuckin hurts even more smh! His man was wide open!
