Just wanted to say thank you, because without this video I would've never knew Cain's Offering ever exist and Constellation of Tears is by far my favorite track by them, I've listened to both of their albums and they are fantastic albums, they're so good for such a small band, I cannot wait for a new album from Cain's Offering, so I just wanted to say thank you, because without this vid I would've never had a 2nd favorite song, nor 2nd favorite band, it's a shame that power metal alone isnt all that known, and I think power metal deserves so much more attention then it does, I am a huge power metal fan and this song fantastic and Cain's Offering as a whole is an amazing band, cant wait for a new album from them.

A bit late, but Cain's Offering is a supergroup. Which means that a 3rd album is highly unlikely, sadly.

Updog Definitely Frosted IMO. Megapeng before him, but he’s gone now. Jason is good as hell but he’s nowhere near the highest level of skill.
As jason himself has said time and time again, the best guitar hero player there ever was is UKOG since he's the one with all the tournament wins and such and tournament wins > fc's since it means he's more consistent
I don't think that's a very good way of measuring who's the best, to be honest.

Easily my favourite video on the channel, this video alone got me into Cain's Offering, who are now my favourite band
I think that Jason just goes into focus zen mode and absolutely shreds on songs he hasn't played, and doesn't on songs he has.

No, it has nothing to do with your weeb shit, this song was written to be the fastest song on Stormcrow, because Jani always writes 1 sappy ballad and 1 ultra fast song on every album he has ever written. yeah dude i agree, for me they are really interrupting the rhythm of the music
I feel it. His more upper register lines sound fantastic, but the entire song kinda seems to stay kinda low for him. He can hit it, but it just doesn't have that same spirit as the upper register, and especially no vibrato on the bottom so it's just kinda there.

In case anyone was wondering, Cain's offering is Jani Liimatainen's band after he left Sonata Artctica. He's also the writer and guitarist for The Dark Element with Annette Olzon from Nightwish. Definitely should listen to them all.
Cains Offering is members from Sonata Arctica, Stratovarius,, Norther and Wintersun. they have a song called I will build you a Rome, and that song is fucking amazing!
