Simply put, it’s a way to measure how much a player is spamming or playing frets unnecessarily during the run of a song. The lower the count of Ghost Inputs, the less spamming a player is doing.

Ghosting is when you imput a note that isn't part of the chart (for example pressing a blue note during a RYO triplet.) Spamming is when you, well you got it, spam, by tapping much faster than what's required. You can ghost many imputs while still not spamming regardless. A good example of it is the fact playing descending quads as zigs will add to the ghost imput count
